I don't think I should've called the first hand but I'm not that sure about the second one.

Messed up? They're showing up perfectly :-S, at least for me. And no I didn't call an allin bet, it says I was BB.

And I guess I got a bit desperate being so short in the second hand.

here's my humble opinion - personally i would fold both.

1st hand - Because someone went all-in first, i would only call with hands that have good chance to win at showdown. 6-7os might be beaten by 8 high . (i'm assuming the first player who went all in isnt totally insane) secondly, it would be good for us if this other short stack busts out of the tournament bec that's another step closer to the money. i would probably pick another spot in which to go all in with. as first-in of course.

2nd hand - definitely would prefer to challenge or put pressure on any other player EXCEPT the big stack. why? i think we still have enough chips to really cripple the other smaller stacks so they will think twice about calling. Correct me if im wrong but i assume that we are going all-in at opportune moments to steal blinds here and there, and if called for a showdown, to have at least a coinflip chance. we dont have much fold equity over the big stack so its probably wise not to challenge him esp w/ J5os. also depends on our image at the table. if we're perceived to be super tight, i dunno, MAYBE we can get away with it. but if the big stack thought we were just stealing blinds, he might call with any 2cards (or almost any 2) since it wont bust him out anyway. if it was me, would prefer to go all in when one of the other stacks was the BB. besides, we would have been button next which gives us a bit more time to pick a hand, and maybe watch other people bust out before us.

my two cents worth :P

Yeah I probably messed up royally in the 2nd hand by not paying enough attention to the other people's stacksizes.
