this call is for like a small amount of my chips, and I like the equity here most of the time. tight player who loosened right up after the bubble, stack odds were good too if he had ace:

this guy was reletively agressive, and i thought if i looked weak and then went all in he would fold to my reraise, but to no avail...and i could totally see him calling with any K-xs and Q-xs , any PP as well here, which he still has the option to fold and give it up pre, but as played:

this is just a little benefit of having pretty solid post flop skill, as well as really taking lots of notes and a little pinch of luck doesnt hurt either lol.

I will surely be using the shark whenever i feel like playing sng's however! :)

No! never at these limits until some NL50 for sure!
Just ABC them.

From my experience, they themselves will try to adjust to some bulls**t,
that's even better.

I love when I play ABC and players bluff me. But why. I'm a nit of the nits sometimes.

GL.

its funny you mention ABC poker lol, because thats exactly what I just told someone else who was working at NL2, who tried to slowplay a straight on a very wet board with lots of hand he could be sucking value from. Sometimes we just need a little reminder thats all :) thanks bud. I totally agree with you.

Hello ilovemagic,

Great read mate, going to try to follow it time to time. Keep up the progress! I'd also vote for ABC for the first play.

The idea isn't to only win the $$$ for moving up. But the idea of SHC & playing ABC is rather that you getting the preflop/postflop play more easily. You wont be losing a lot money and will face easy decisions. The better and more confident you get you will widen up and will get the game. Then you can as well start play more fancy game. But till that just follow the ABC.

Best Regards.

Thank you for taking the time out of your busy schedule to read my blog veriz. I am using you as my main coach through the beginning of my career! I still can't believe that I can learn to play winning poker for free. This site is the stone cold nuts, and so are the people who frequent it :) I will definately be following ur blog now that I know you have one and I made it a favourite so i always know where to find it!

so ive had a couple break even sessions over the last couple days, coupled with not playing for long. I've just been busy at work and with baby, cleaning the house, and looking for a second job, that by the time 10pm rolls around, theres only a great enough amount of energy to play for like 5 mins if i wanna play my A game. So tonight I'm pretty sure I'm gonna open like 4 or 5 tables and go "fishing" for a couple hours. Hope to get some bites :) toodles.

had another pretty much break even session last night. topped by a lucksack who made pretty much the nuts and 2 all ins vs one other guy and then me 1 hand later when I had KK. was up $3 just nickel and diming this tight ass table for like 2 hrs. Then this guy (calling station) came along and stole the show. i lost all my profit +$1 more then I started with. I immediately blew up and rage quit. Thank god I'm not going on tilt anymore, but I'm not winning half as much as I used to. I'm starting to think I am playing too late at night. I always end up making a bad call somewhere during a late night session, or a horrible shove that gets instacalled, and I lose. Taking more breaks during my sessions is a great idea too.. I need to start playing for more +EV so I will be playing during the day mostly from now on. This break even poker is really starting to bug me.

imagine your heart being ripped in an instant. I thought he was drawing dead because i got so excited at what he flipped. I called , because he is a fish who plays too many hands and bets too many times. And I thought he had A-x, so it was +EV.

he had AQ :) OMG so lucky .....

so i have like so much equity vs AQ on the turn...and i play the hand perfectly vs this particular player, and this is why my bankroll is fucking garbage right now.

Going to post any graphs? I like graphs, they're good to look at :f_biggrin:

i will post graphs man. But they wont be spectacular considering I haven't been beating NL2 consistently, nor do I even know where to go to make a graph ?(

Any suggestions on where to go to learn how to do this? maybe theres a forum or an info video here on pokerstrategy?

Explain me this:
how come you have that huge spike from $2 to $-14, did you sit with $16 stack at nl2 table?
I doubt that. I guess you were playing without proper BRM on nl10 you silly fish

this graph is an example of what happens when i go on tilt. i can be up $ 3 0 playing nl2. go on tilt and lose $60 in 500 hands. i lost all my $ today. i went on tilt again at the nl2's...fuck

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

tilt train all aboard the tilt train...destination ??? HELL.

this is my last 30 days of play in the post below.... where am i seriously leaking?

wtf. this is 9k hands played. -$20

more stats...what does any of this mean? i thought i was playing well enough...but maybe im wrong.

at first glance, utg1 and utg2 vp$ip need to be lowered to at least 20%, maybe even 15%..25% is just too high, considering my co,bu,sb vpip % is roughly the same lol

I would not go into my blog if I was you, many that have dared have never returned!!! i will give you short summary ...

played loads of mss, tried bss failed, switched back to mss, now im trying 6 max bss and trying to get better, im studying poker for at least 2 hours a day at the mo with not much playing, working my way through the poker zion roots course and attending coachings on here, I'm hoping this will now help my game as I have been a losing/breakeven player for just over one year. :f_biggrin:
