i'm ok so far i guess..:)
completed the quizz and everything so i am good to go.
still getting to know the site and everything, but it looks great so far..
can't wait to tune in tonight for my first coaching session..
and by the end of february i will make a decent deposit at one of the sites and start some serious grinding since i will be done with my exams and won't have anything to do besides training ( i play basketball in a small team here) and playing poker.

Welcome to the PS Forums. Congratulations and you made it to the bronze. Now I believe that there are more young guys playing in poker with stakes, I thought old guys do that.

We can share what we know about poker alex and goodluck to your exams

@purplefizz everything is going good..was back on pokerstars for the TCOOP instead of learning for my exams..:P
but now i realy have to study,so i won't have the time to put in any decent session for the next two weeks..
went to the casino on friday and did ok..:)
i also checked out the everest poker client and it looks nice..but there aren't so many games running(compared to ps) so i will have to wait till after the exams to grind all day again
@angel haha yeah bronze was easy though..:P
do you mean being staked by some other player/guy? if yes, i don't think that it would benefit me that much..since i can still afford to be a small loosing player online due to my live winnings..but i hope to be a winning player online by the end of the year..:)

definitely Stars has much more traffic. it's the biggest poker room followed by Party Poker where you can get lots of good games too. Everest is small but soft do you play cash games or sng's or just mtt's?

took a break from studying and won 120$ at the everest casino ♦ ♦
transfered it to my everest poker account and also deposited 10$ there to activate the 500$
bonus..now i wont have any excuses not to grind after my last exam on friday!!

i got a question for one of the mods. is it ok if i use this thread as some sort of blog or should i open a new one at the blog section of the forum? or can you sort of copy everything in this thread into the blog section?

I advise opening a new one in the blog section, as this one is kept for introductions. You will get more viewers to your blog there anyway.

of course, we can move this thread also to the blogs at your request. i recommend thinking up a catchy title first to include the game you are playing and editing your first post with a few spaces to improve readability tho ♦

cool..would be nice if you could just move it to the right forum..:)

as for the title somthing like "climbing up everest,to get to the top of the world!" would be nice..
since i'm going to be playing nl10 and nl25 at everest.

so i just had a big session where i only played 2 tables of nl10 inorder to take notes on the several players and also configure my HUD, and also just to get to know the software a bit better..

so after a 399minute session i am up 42$ and my BR is 216$.
I'll try to get some sleep now,because i have to study all day tomorrow for my last exam..

Next update will be during te weekend where i wil also set my goals for the future..

DONE WITH MY EXAMS!!!!

So let the grinding start!!

so i just got home from my last exam for this semester..

i decided not to deposit anything to pokerstars, but rather continue grinding at everest poker..
so after some small problems at the beginning i think that i'm pretty used to the new software and everything and can focus on grinding..

for now i will stick to 6 tables of NL10 and gather more information on all the other players.

My Bankroll : 251,69$

My Goals:

- Play 50k hands till March 5th to earn the 500$ Bonus
- finish the month with $1k profit
- go to the local casino and play some .5/1 and 1/2 live (i just include this
here because i've been lazy the last weeks and haven't played any live
poker this year )

well i guess thats all for now..
would be great if i could gain some followers along the way so that you can help me with future problems if there should be any..

i will also post a graph and everything by the end of each week starting next sunday since i only have played about 3k hands till today and don't think that it would be very interesting posting a graph of such small hand sample..

anyways, off i go to the tables..and good luck to everyone else grinding today!!
