Hi experts,

Can't find a tool to convert HU hands on poker 770, so shall type.

Hero(button): $1000
Villain: SB : $2000
Blinds: 100/200

Dealt to Hero T :spade: T♥

Preflop:
Hero min raised to $400
Villain reraise to $800
Hero shoves

Villain shoves, shows pocket Aces.

Is there anything i could have done differently? How does one get a read on a player in heads up games?

Unless he posts a link to teamviewer where you can see his hand there is no way that you can dodge this bullet.
