Anyway, at least my EV was having a good time at nl10 as I was 30$ under Ev.

So, see ya in two days. I'll play 12/24 to recover the damages.

You can't base you're results at NL10 by just 1 losing session. Like you said, you was running bellow EV by these 3 BI's anyway! :]

Just got to grind up some more Bankroll at your current limit, then give it another shot!

Don't give up hope!

Also post the hands where you busted in the Hand Evaluation Forums, If you played them fine, there is nothing to worry about

I guess I have enough skill to beat micros, my only problem is the mindset.
Now even at nl6 I can't beat the limit.. I go up, down again, up-down up-down up-down up-down up-down.. darn.. I'm so desperate :(
Rlly dunno what to do. And I do not want to take a pause, I want to fix this by playing.. dunno if it a good idea but anyway..darn..

Sounds like you are done for the day. Think about it overnight and re-evaluate. Its important to have your head in the right place every time you take to the felt.

Thank you guys, I appreciate.

I played some more and now I'm at 250. When should I try to shot nl10 again? 350-400-500? hm..

$250 is enough to take a stab at NL10. If you can wait until $300 you will also have a nice 5BI to take a much better stab imo.

Did I also read that you play like 12+ Tables?

You also bring up that you want to improve, have you seen or read about our NL Beginners Course? Don't let the word "Beginner" put you off, even an intermediate player can learn alot! If you'd like to know more about the course say so, and I'll throw some info at you ;)

@MattDenness, actually I was playing 12+ tables (mtts), he's playing 8 tables cash (that's the limit on 888)

* Update [ Need to learn the shit' first]

So lazy me will update now
* ...oh and as u can see I wrote 'shit' in pink(ish)

" 619 mtt's played, profit: $16 _cool:"

So, as I guess some of u know, I tried to turn up the volume to 30 tables -> fail!
I guess it doesn't really work like that, I know some ICM, have some push-fold skill but I can't handle 16+ yet! So, I gonna' get my ass to work and start to learn more (more than 0 or not at all).

:spade: I have a chart form another thread with push-fold situations in pre-ante and ante phases -> I will learn it until I can successfully dream about it! :f_eek:

:spade: Gonna' be in a group this weekend, no excuses! :O

:spade: 100 hands in SnG Wizz / day! and I'll post exactly how many I've done every day so I'll be publicly humiliated for being lazy and not doing them!

:spade: Post 10 hands / discuss 10 hands in the evaluation forums (don't really know how things work in the sng/mtts hand posting forum)

Graph till' now:

The downswing is due to 24 tabling...I guess... :(

See ya tomorrow!, I'll leave u with this intersting article! LOLOLOLOL _biggrin:

The 5 Greatest Things Ever Accomplished While High

exactly!! ^^ I blogged about variance just a few days ago, give it a read if you interested. Please understand that variance can hit even the best players, it's not good to be this much result orientated that you start obsessing with 3bb's downswings. Stay on nl6 and grind until you back up with your confidence. How do you think you'll end up with this mindset on nl10? Every day you give nl10 a try.. what, maybe twice a day? go up and down and destroying your mindset with it too? NOT good. Take half day break, review your hands, put them in order as you can see in my post and see what happened the last 10k hands. But it should be more like 50k+ hand samples.

and just to add, nl10 isn't running anywhere. why the rush?

Do you want to be a solid player or the one who lacks confidence and just because he has the right bankroll hits the higher limits? You'll be fine, just calm down and stop jumping from one limit to another and back and forth with out knowing whats the issue. Evaluate, study and most importantly get your mind set in order.

rant over :)

I tried with 300$ two times now, and I guess its kinda scared money to me. Word beginner does not put me off cuz it's who I am. I'm leaning and wanting to learn. I'll try again nl10 with 350 or maybe 400$ so I can have enough bankroll to play without scared money. If I fail? I try again.. And then? again..over again.. :f_biggrin:

I am playing 6-8 tables. 6 when I start, and 8 when I'm feeling like rolling :f_biggrin: Sincerely, I would like playing more tables sometimes but 888 does not supports so, so it limits me to 6-8 which is kinda good for me because you can pay more attention and learn the game.

And yes, Ingrid. Confidence isnt one of my qualities. I'm always afraid of loosing. Guess I need to practice this. I quite know what happened. I was rolling under ev, and then I lost a shove pre with KK vs AQ which tilted me. Then the same guy crushed me with a set of deuces agaist my 2p AK. So, this is pretty much it. Then I couldnt win anymore. There are times when I play perfectly and I can't win, I feel it. Yes, variance..

I have a hand from nl2. I just wanted to ask, I knew he had some sets, but I was already pot comitted. Is there any way to make him give up and fold there? How can I make him fold? Or if not, is he loosing money there in the long run? Or how can I play this hand properly? Maybe shove on turn ? (if i put him on set? )

$0.02/$0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A:d, K:s.
folds, calls $0.04, folds, raises to $0.29, Hero raises to $0.47, calls $0.43, 2 folds, folds.

Flop: ($1.11) A:s, 2:s, T:s (2 players)
Hero bets $0.83, calls $0.83.

Turn: ($2.77) 5:s (2 players)
Hero bets $2.07, calls $2.07.

River: ($6.91) 5:d (2 players)
Hero bets $1.30, raises to $2.22, Hero calls $0.44.

Final Pot: $10.87.

I know I play MTSNGs but I used to beat NL4 so I'll give this a shot :)
First of, I think that your 3bet pre-flop is too small. If I would 3bet (which I only would if I have a read that a 7xBB isn't QQ-AA), I would atleast make it 3 times the amount of the raise (4 times most of the time). The rest, I would pretty much play the same way. I would have just jammed the river because having $1.74 when there's a $6.91 pot while having nut flush is just screaming for a jam lol. If he ends up with a set here, you just got unlucky in my opinion. That's why there's a 25+ BI rule :f_biggrin:

@itblue , about the hand, as suited said, excepting the raise pre- the hand was played ok and the rest..oh well shit happens...

Ohh.. and it seems that I don't have to grow my BR to pass you...I just have to wait  ...just kiddin' man..it'll be ok :]

* Up[MF]date!

Today was a decent day for learning, did some wizz hands, read some blogs on 2+2, watched vids and lost $ :f_love:

So, as I was saying:

[ X ] Do 300 hands in SnG Wizz
[ - ] Post or review 10 hands
[ - ] Do a review in HM of my last sessions
[ X ] Watch 1 hour of vids on Deuces Cracked

->

Only 89%..but I'll improve!

As for the reviews I really don't know how to review a sng database or post a hand, I'm only familiar with cash...so I'll have to watch a vid' or something, any sugestions?

"Running 'a bit' under EV :rage: "

Just a 'little' bit! (as this is the trend of this blog)

[$1 90 man and $1.50 45 man]

"Stacked rullz! "

I found out that I play better while staking my tables than tile, it helps me not freak out loosing 10 flips in a row
And I think I can multi-table 24-30 now...just have to see tomorrow how it goes cuz' today I didn't have tables to play ( at 3-4 am) :(

Anywhore, see ya guys tomorrow! :f_biggrin:

* The AHAAAA moment...

After getting my ass properly whooped trying, again ( for the 3'rd time) to play 24+ tables I had to go down to the 50 cents mtts :rage: Also had a small chat with suitedaces making me want to try the 45 mans (50 cent) and this happened -> -45 consecutive bi !!!
And somehow I didn't tilt, not only that I didn't tilt but I was really trying to see what (THE FUCK) is wrong with my game? :f_confused:

I see that I always get out of a tournament with a weaker hand (like 45 times) :f_cool: ♦ and that while playing 20 ish tables I tend to just go allin with the hand too easy cuz` I'm so pressured to play the next hand, I was to friggin LOOSE :f_mad: So ... what to do?

JUST FOLLOW THE FREAKING`CHART!!! [and play less tables to focus more]

The result?

I ended up in profit +12 bi's after a - of 45 bi !!
I'm so proud of my graff that I CAN'T post the real one for the session, I reinstalled my Windows...and after importing the old database...it doesn't show me the correct stats...[oh well I'll make a new db] So I'm gonna' recreate the graph! _cool:

Gonna' do some 500'ish hands in Wizz now :f_p: till 2 am. See u guys!Take care

I'm gonna' destroy them tomorrow!!!!
