Sick sick grind session!

Over 2000 Hands, from more than 6BI down to almost 6BI up.

Almost at 10.000 hands for the month now. 6 days left for 5000 hands, EASY GAME!

Started running better + had a pretty bad opponent who had 100% pot flop 100% pot turn 90% pot river line. Won about 6 BI off him.

I also quit playing another opponent who was up 3BI against me.

I was hoping you wouldn't troll on the EN forum. Should have known better!

Month graph after 10k hands:

[x] 20bb/100
[x] 5BI over EV
[x] Happy about volume
[x] Happy about result

First time in months that I really put effort into my game and playing again, happy that it is paying off :).

The weekend is over, time for a blog update!

Friday:

We went for food with a group of colleagues. Had a nice dinner with some wine, before the bad stuff happened. When they asked us if we'd like some desert, we looked at the drink list and said 'Give us one of everything'. After some hesitation from their side and confirmation from our side, they started preparing the drinks.

Spoiler

19 drinks, some of them were: Whiskey, Whiskey, Vodka, Vodka, Vodka, Whiskey, Sambuca, Baileys and countless others. We were 4 guys, and we raffled the drinks away through 'Credit card Roulette'. I ran bad and had most of the worst drinks, including the sambuca.

Since we were 4 guys and there were 19 drinks, one of us would be the lucky person who had to drink one less than the others. This sounded attractive, until we decided to make that person pay for the entire meal.

Spoiler

Ran good there, because I didn't have to pay and had a good tasting whiskey instead. After this, went out and had a good party with some other friends!

Saturday: Poker, working and sleeping early

Sunday: Playing poker on my balcony, sunbathing and now having a minor sunburn.

I'm at over 11000 hands now, so there are 3 days left to play about 4000 hands. Let's do this :).

Made it!

Next months goal:

15k+ hands on 100NL HU+
25 days of 100 party points (or possibly WPT points) for the Gladiator promo

Now going for a drink to celebrate that I made it!

Sweet result, hitting the goal!

I'd love to open up on WPT and get FDB+gladiator this month, seems like an awesome deal.

(I wonder if you could do 100 points x 25 x 2, though?)

@ Vonki, challenge is on! Just for the 15.000 hands though, not for the Gladiator promo.

Quite happy about the results as well, let's hope I can prove myself by keeping the same winrate this month :).

@ fruktpuff, it makes more sense to play 200 points x 25 days on 1 room, since it gives you a higher rakeback % :).

Just to quote a part of my first blogpost:

To start off this blog, I'll have to say that I am very bad and inconsistent when blogging. I'll try to make as many (interesting) updates as I can, but I won't promise you daily or weekly updates, since I know it'll be hard for me to keep this promise.

I'm very busy at the moment, with Fishermansfriend quitting and DanielK on holiday, there is a lot of work to do :). The 15k hands/month bet is still on, however I'm at only 1.5k hands so far.

Vonki will be pleased when I have to go to work in a pink dress. Luckily I still have over 20 days left, so more than enough time to catch up!

I left the plans for my Gladiator promotion goals on the side already, as it's just not realizable to do this while keeping a social life and getting my work done.

Basically I'm just busy with work at the moment. Will probably take a week off at the end of the month, not sure what I'll do yet. (besides grinding my 15k hands, ofcourse)

Tonight we're having a company event where we are first going bowling and afterwards we booked the VIP area of one of the local clubs.
