Blinds are now 50/100

This is a triple chance event and players start with 3k chips+2 rebuys

BongBob 4.5k+1r
Tsubi 5.5k+1r
Nazgul 7k+2r
Thorsten77 4k+2r
Bokkie 9k+2r
Antoine Saour 12k
Gabriel Nassid 9k+1r
FA+Morgoth 8k+1r
Jonathan Little 9k

Players are gambling up in this even with their first stack. I've seen several multi-way all in pots. There was a 4-way preflop all in on Gabriel Nassif's table and a 5-way all in on the flop on Nazgul's

Not too any interesting hands to report at this moment, so I'll just give you some chip count updates.

Blinds 75/150

BongBob 4k+1r
Tsubi 11k+1r
Nazgul 7k+2r
Thorsten77 3k+2r
Bokkie 7k+2r
Antoine Saout 8k
Gabriel Nassif 13k+1r
FA_Morgoth 5.5k+2r
Jonathan Little 10k
febsan 10k+1r

Blinds up to 100/200, 920 entries so far.

BongBob, Thorsten and Antoine Saout are busto. It looks like febsan is probably out too.

Tsubi 9.5k
Nagul 7.2k
Bokkie 5k+2r
Gabriel Nassif 13k+1r
FA_Morgoth 15k
Jonathan Little 11k

Jan1000 and psychobenny have also joined in on the action

Nazgul lost two big pots with top set on the flop.

The first was the smaller 10k pot:

Flop K J x, Nazgul check-raises, villain goes all in and he calls.

K K x x vs A Q T T, villain hits a T to make the straight.

In the other one, he was all in for 17k.

It was a limped pot, Nazgul completed SB with Q Q 3 7 single suited.

Flop Q 3 2 :C

it's checked round to the button who makes it 400, Nazgul makes it 1,250, MP called, BU makes it 4,100, Nazgul goes all in for 17k, MP called all in for 5k, Bu called

the shortie had 4 5 6 7 :C, BU had A:c 7:c 4 6.

The club comes on the turn and the river is 7x. BU wins with the nut flush.

Nazgul said he would have over 45k if he win those hands and that would have been enough for an in the money stack

Know who this is?

Sorry I posted the wrong number of entrants earlier.

There are 685 entries and only 405 are left now

Blinds up to 150/300

Nazgul, febsan, and psychobenny have all busted

Tsubi 8.5k
Bokkie 9k
Gabriel Nassif 17k
FA_Morgoth 20k
Jonathan Little 15k
Jan1000 7k

Spoke to Bokkie for a little during the last break.

Also met Nazgul after he busted, he was still quite angry at how his day went. They all think that the event is filled with NL Hold'em players because there's no NL Hold'em event today. Many of them are playing PLO like NLH and going broke with top pair which is almost never good.

Blinds up again 200/400, around 400 players left.

Tsubi 20k
Bokkie 8k
Gabriel Nassif 13k
FA_Morgoth 28k
jan1000 15k
Jonathan Little 18k

Saw Tsubi double up the second time in the last two levels.

The first double up was in the last level.

Tsubi raised from UTG+1, 3 call

Flop A 7 8 Tsubi c-bet, 1 call

They get it all in on a turn J

K J T 9 vs 6 7 8 8

River K

Then in the last double up, Tsubi had 32bb, bigstack opened, Tsubi 3-bet and villain called.

Flop Q Q 7 Tsubi c-bets small (less than his 3-bet), villain puts him all in and Tsubi calls

Q 7 J T vs 6 7 8 T villain only had a flush draw and a low pair.

Turn 9

River 8

Blinds up to 250/500

Tsubi 18k
FA_Morgoth 57k
Bokkie 7k
gabrielnassif 10k
Jan1000 27k
Jonathan Little busto
febsan busto

Bokkie was blinding down for most of the last level but doubled up without a showdown in the last hand of the last level.

Vladimir Kwaysser opened, Bokkie 3-bet, 2 call.

Bokkie goes all in on the flop and both fold.

FA_Morgoth won a few medium sized pots to amass that huge stack.

On a flop of 5 5 2 :D a player bets from the blinds, FA_Morgoth raises Q Q 5 6 and villain calls with 10k behind in a 8k pot.

Turn 7:d both check

River Q villain bets small, FA_Morgoth raises and villain calls showing the nutflush. FA_Morgoth picks up the 20k pot with rivered the full house

We're going into the last level of the day now:

Tsubi 20.5k
Bokkie 12k
FA_Morgoth 55k
Jan1000 17k
Gabriel Nassif busto

Bokkie got all his chips in against one opponent preflop but they ended up chopping up the blinds and limpers with KKJ3 vs KKJ2

Only 216 remain

Payouts:

1st $420,802
2nd $259,918
3rd $184,368
4th $132,623
5th $96,737
6th $71,548
7th $53,633
8th $40,748
9th $31,360

13th-15th $19,429
16th-18th $15,446
19th-27th $12,510
28th-36th $10,247
37th-45th $8,508
46th-54th $7,143
55th-63rd $6,077

Action has slowed down significantly as it's late here. We're past 2am and have one more hour to go.

The iPad/iPhone chinese poker game seems to be a favourite among some of the high stakes regulars.

Christian Harder has a game going with Eli Elezra

Day 1 just ended

Bokkie 40k
Tsubi 22.1k
FA_Morgoth 24.8k

Bokkie made a nice late double up (suckout)

Bokkie raised and villain called

Flop A:h J:c Q:h Bokkie bets, villain insta raises, Bokkie goes all in for about 20k and villain insta calls.

Q:d Q:s J:d 9:d vs K:h T:h Q:c 2:s

Turn A and Bokkie locks up the hand.

FA_Morgoth meanwhile lost over half his stack after doubling up Erick Lindgren.

I caught the action on the flop and the money went all in there.

The board ran out Q:h 8:d 3:h 2:s T:d FA_Morgoth had J:h J:d 3:d 6:h while Lindgren had A:d Q:d K:h 9:h. Lindgren's top pair was good enough to win the hand

They resume at 4pm tomorrow
