Ultimate goal
Don't go broke

(un)realistic goals:
[ ] reach NL25 bankroll (as soon as I set up bankroll management)
[ ] maintain gold status on Edge
[ ] clear all bonuses (and stop forcing volume just so I can clear bonus)
[ ] start learning about poker game
[ ] minimize losing money to tilt (not Full but actual tilt)
[ ] get in the money at miniFTOPS Final (already have a step 4 ticket worth 75$)

Realistic or not this is the plan!

As for how things are now:
BR=239$
My stats 20/12 over 75000 hands
NL10 -900$ over 55000 hands

I will continue to play NL10, but if I drop below 200$ (and I probably will) then its
NL5+BR management+learning poker!

Will try to keep this blog alive with some off poker stuff, sports, work etc. but will try to post graphs, hands, and weekly and monthly results!

Your goals are definitely realistic and very achievable.

As for your graph, I'd say you bluff a lot which is something you shouldn't do at nl10. It's super profitable to just play your big hands and play them aggressively. As they say, just keep betting and fold if they raise you. Ofc you can exploit everyone at nl10 just by using position, because they all have 0 positional awareness.

Pretty busy weekend life wise and sport wise...

Best friend of Mrs gave birth to her daughter, so that gave us reason to drink the whole weekend, + last night we celebrated New Year according to Julian calendar, while on an 18th birthday party of a young friend of ours, so this can be good time to make a pause in drinking all night, and have a few weeks of healthy life (I will probably laugh at this post in a few weeks ♦)! Forgot to mention World Championship in handball has started in Spain, Serbia won first match against South Korea, playing with Belarus at the moment, not a great start, but hoping for the best...

This hand you might even consider folding pre-flop until you're more comfortable with your post flop game, seeing as the opener is playing 14/14 and doesn't have worse Ax than ATs (so when you get action on an A-hi board you might be often dominated). But it has decent playability so it's pretty standard to call it here (esp. considering the BB looks kind of weak).

Leading the turn is fine since MP is folding nearly every time here and we have most of the time the best hand. Since BB is fish we can probably make it bigger like 3/4 pot and expect a lot of calls from JT/QT/KT and other draws.

River is always bet/fold (still worth betting vs. fish for same reason as turn, but he's never turning a Tx hand into a bluff so we have nothing beat when he re-raises).

What I realized from these two hands (and about dozen more over the past few days) is that I play very slow in hands with 2+ players, and ALWAYS call the river even though I know I lost it!!!

First thing: never limp with hands like this, especially from UTG. There's so many regs nowadays that 95% of the time someone will isolate you with a raise and c-bet you off your hand if you call. You need to always (except in VERY special circumstances) open-raise with hands you want to play. That allows you to continue aggression on the flop (since by raising you represent a stronger hand), as well as sometimes allowing you to steal the blinds (free money adds up!). Regardless, you should fold 98o pre-flop from UTG.

As played, you might even want to get your money in on the flop. Since BB is only 50bb deep he could be re-raising with any TT+ he slow-played, as well as a ton of crappy 9x (A9/K9) and be willing to stack off there. The CO can easily have over-pairs against which you're a favorite (though I doubt it when he bets so small on the flop) and guys love to get it in with their flush draws against which you're a small to decent favourite.

Since the players at these stakes are kind of bad, I would just re-raise here and try and get the money in ASAP. Don't be worried about making them fold.

As played after the flop, you should make it bigger on the turn to charge all the flush draws. Maybe something like $2.25+. Depends on your opponents.

As played after the turn, it's a clear fold on the river (which you know). At these stakes I'd even be tempted to check/fold or perhaps check/call smaller bets if you think he's capable of turning busted flush-draws into bluffs there (doubt he would though).

What did you think you were beating on the turn? He turned up here with the worst hand he could possibly have (the best hand for you) and he still has some decent equity. If someone bet/shoves on you on a board like this then it isn't going to make you money in the long run to call him off with TPTK unless you have some serious read on him.

Do you think he's ever making this move with JT/QT/KT? J9/97? Maybe he does with some flush draws, but not many opponents will ship it there with those. I think the re-raise is fine since sometimes you get some value from worse Tx, but when he shoves you just have to fold unless you've got a read.

First of all thank you for devoting your time to analyze my hands, most of the hands I posted are the ones where I knew I did it wrong, it`s very helpful when someone points me out exactly where i did wrong.

As for the third hand, I played it against every rule and principle of poker, because i played against a specific opponent, and I tried my reading skills on this guy. The 60 or so hands we played together he always slow played good hands (sets, straights...), and made large bets on draws (which he did hit about three times by then on the river (as you can see his VPIP he plays every other hand)). My guess was that he was checking flop cause he expected a c-bet from me (I almost always c-bet flop) and he would re-raise my bet for sure, by the turn he got nervous and shoved, I was sure he had a draw, and it would be too much to hit it again on river (but it wouldn't surprise me if he did). I totally agree that in every other situation this is a clear fold.
Oh, and for the second hand, I don't know, and didn't even realize until you pointed out that I limped in the beggining, since I almost never limp, really puzzled with that action from me!

So for all you guys following my blog, and wondered why my all time graph looks so downhill, and my games since I started this blog seem solid here are the graphs from yesterday and today combined:

So -10BI in less then 2000 hands, so bad play, maybe one or two hands I played correctly, all money gone on my stupidity, tables were so soft today, I spotted 50% fish on every table, but that all couldn't help as I was the BIGGEST FISH of them all.

I will do a midweek cut tomorrow as usual, hopefully with a couple of good sessions tonight and tomorrow, otherwise I am 2BI from dropping to NL5

As for the next level, it's NL25 on Tilt where I play, but I plan to transfer once I clear FDB sometimes in April, hopefully by then I will get a grip of my game, and stop spewing money.

Regs are there to take my money, and I don`t have a problem with that, it's the fish taking my money that drives me insane, again reason why I want to work on my mental game (I agree that we'll do this easily together, so I'm up for sweat sessions 100%).
