Should I have shoved river? I don't think SB can have a flush when he just checks to me... don't know if I can get called by worse though.

Ty for your time, I see there were a lot of hands waiting to be answered already _tongue:

i think that when you call turn you expect SB to check river (u will probably fold to a sb shove otr right?)

i think that SB is never check calling w sets and double pair otr so yeah, chbh is the best option here

Hi anomic,

This is hardly a valuebet spot on the river with 2 guys left to act.

Sure, CO could semibluff as he did, but SB is generally never weak. At best he has a rare 99 set like here but he will have a fair share of flushes (same with Co).

@marcosmartinez yes I would have folded river if SB shoved

@bogdan
No, the CO is a fish who shoved the turn. I think the SB's call on the turn is very weird and is rarely a flush (would shove). When SB checks the river I am even more sure he doesn't have the flush.

The CO is already all in so I can still bet the river for a side pot against the SB, but I insta checked it down and thought to myself "damn could have gotten some more value out of that ..." :f_p:

i dont think he would call with a set when you have flushes and 8x in your range

i also think that he has a lot of flushes when he call ott,when CO is AI there is no reason to keep you out of the pot with a flush!

but.. i agree with you that when he check river he rarely has a flush (maaaybe some nutted flushes) cause he will donk for value of your st8 and other flushes, but im really convinced that youre never getting paid by worse otr, he is allways check folding and check shoving nutted hands, never check calling there

What about a 1/3 or 1/4 pot bet? Seems like a decent thin value spot

I donk flop big and bet turn big so I have a lot of sets in my range here, it would be stupid of the SB not to raise the turn if he has a flush imo

Probably a 1/4 bet fold is fine too, but really thin imo

So he will expect that u GII with a set in a 5679 (st8 and flush completed) board? 8-o

I dont think that he must chek raise all his flushes, if he is stacking off with JdTd i.e it would be a huge overplay imo
