Hi,

Satellited into SCOOP and ran into this spot. No stats, Hand2Note trial ran out so it doesn't work above $9 buy-ins. But villain seemed relatively tight

Preflop and flop - standard?
On the turn, with the draws completing, I felt he wouldn't bet worse :Ax:. Is fold ok or am I being scared money?

I’m no fan to defend with calling with a stack of 25bb. This is a spot I would shove or fold. Most of the time I would shove AJs against an open or we would deal with a nit. Also, you could end up in a nasty spot if someone behind you would 3bet or shoves.

As played is calling the flop not to bad, but with 21.970 effective behind you will face a shove often on the turn and I would most likely go for a shove on the flop to protect your hand and if you are beat it’s unlucky.

At this limit I would expect people to squeeze wide, so would feel comfortable calling a shove behind as long as the original raiser folds. Fair points though - think I was too influenced by the read that the raiser was tight too much. Don't mind calling preflop too much, but once I connected with the flop, it had to be a shove
