Hey PS community!
Its been 3 years since my last blog post.
For introductions please visit my previous blogs
Whining around micros - GRODT Completed, but still on micros (NL5,NL10,NL25 6MAX)
and
Curing gambling addiction with NL Holdem
So in 2018. I joined BPC on a coaching for profits program as you can see in the second blog, and started of quite well, but sadly had to terminate it cause I ran into some pretty big health problems. Spent 2019. mostly in hospital with two surgeries, and early 2020. was all about recovery. And as pandemic started there was a lot of free time for me, so I tried to get back to poker.
As usual I tried to start from NL10, deposited on GG poker and played for three months

Results were in the red a bit, but the volume was getting there, unfortunately got back to some old habits (non cured addictions) and spent the winter w/o playing poker (no bankroll  ).
Entering 2021. it looked like the pandemic was never going to end, and my job is very connected to traveling and open borders, so had to find another source of income, or just try not to spend all the savings on gambling :gl:
Deposited (as promised to myself and my family) last 70$ for online poker and despite the results at NL5

Spoiler

Link Text...

managed to withdraw around 150$ per month, for the last three months due to good volume and bonuses :profit: .
Now with a bankroll of 224$ decided to start blogging again, get back here for good strategy tips and articles, and start from the bottom up.

Will post some goals later

Spoiler

I hope people still love goalZ on forums as they used to

But the idea is to just put in as much volume as possible, with the basic skills that I possess, and prove that micros are beatable!

I hope you get really warm really fast!

I find that when I play NL2 it is hard to make good choices, because I just don't care enough.
We're not supposed to be results oriented, but it is necessary to be somewhat interested.

Doyle Brunson said in one of his books, "You must want to win, but not care if you lose".
I'm not entirely sure about that. You must care enough.

Best of luck climbing the ladder...
Cheers,
VS

Yeah sure, last week was a definite eye opener.
after 6 months+ on NL5-NL10, dropping down to NL2 was just :spit:
Multi tabling 8-12 tables was impossible, as all the decisions villains are making were instant, and I had no time to react, table select, mark, note etc. It was just an auto mode with lots of loose calls, rushed moves, misclicks.
I am very well rolled for NL5-NL10, and will just admit that NL2 is not beatable for me :truestory:

About the MTT profit.
I got a ticket from GG on friday for a 25$ Omaholic tournament. Havent played Omaha since 2019., so went trough basic stuff, ebook, notes (as I was in a CFP program on Omaha as well), got prepared, but got out coinflipping bad, pretty fast. They just gave me the ticket to help me remember how addictive omaha is so on sunday played a sat to Omaha Millions bounty and managed to enter as well as survive day1 (w/o any bounties earned), sat at day2 w 8BB and flipped good first hand. Waited until bubble, and busted first hand after cashing

Looking out to see your improvement, gonna follow you blog!

Sometimes its good to wait out the bubble, even when you have prem hands like AKo/QQ, just fold them :P

I used to be able to play 8 double-or-nothing STTs on Party without much trouble, since they're basically fold-fests, but any other game, where you have to actually pay attention to players, yeah, 8 is next to impossible. I find that now the quality of play suffers greatly if I try to play more than 4 tables cash at once.

As for opponents making their decisions too fast I suggest setting the pace yourself. Take the full decision time allowed whenever possible.
This works even better if there are some players who actually get annoyed by this. Annoyed opponents are +EV

Even for one day that is not bad.
How many tables do you play?

I normally play 8-12 tables.
So this is like a 2 1/2 hour session for the whole week and that is pretty bad.

As for your comment in the report thread:
I live in Belgrade, capital of Serbia. It lays on two rivers Sava and Danube. And river Sava forms a lake on one point and a peninsula that we call Ada Ciganlija. So it takes us 15min walk to the boat that takes us across the river to the peninsula where we stay on the lake for the whole day swimming and cooling off on these high temperatures (35C to 38C in Belgrade these days).
And we use every opportunity to go there and relax.

Sounds nice!
I've never lived that close to water.
At best it was a half-hour walk away -- and that was cold ocean.
