888 Bankroll recovery

I cashed in 4 freerolls, was in profit playing PLO8, achieved yet another Hand-of-the-day reward and got a cashback spin

Oh yeah — I've over $900 one again.
The downside is that I approached 888 Support about my missing Monthly Hand-of-the-Day reward.
They replied that it had been credited to my account on June 26th.
This quite simply is not true.

One support representative credited my account with a $10 bonus, which I can clear by wagering $300 in either casino games or poker games.
There is a series of catches:
 To clear a bonus, you must play with the bonus funds.
 When you have both "available funds" and "bonus funds" the "available funds" are used first.
 In the past for some bonuses, you could withdraw all your available funds, play as you liked, then cancel the withdrawal request.
 This bonus however clearly states "This bonus will be forfeited upon withdrawal"

I really like playing at 888 but this just leaves me feeling sick.

The bonus system is absolutely pathetic on 888. You have to go busto to even get it.

I tried withdrawing my cash as I deposited to get the wildfire bonus I think it was called. Played for over 30 days then withdrew my cash, so I could play with the said bonus and as you said it vanished.

Waste of time.

I accidentally clicked on the SnG tab and saw that there was a $1 Double-or-Nothing PLO8 with 7 of 8 players registered — I cashed

I also found out why the occasional adjustment is necessary.
In 888, when playing fast-fold NLHE, sometimes you stand up after you have played a hand in the blinds, but before the hand has completed.
It may also be that you had put quite a bit of money in, then folded the flop.
If you exit the table before the hand completes, then the hand history is never written to the local disk file, and PokerTracker cannot pick it up.

I submitted a withdrawal request which removed the bonus

I have requested that 888Poker open a formal complaint, and I used a website called "resolver" to submit it.

I then reversed my withdrawal request.
Later I had second thoughts and re-submitted a withdrawal request for $900.
I started this challenge with 20 cents, I can rebuild it.
I'll use the money for on-board poker on the upcoming cruise — if they have poker on board.

Today was a work day, so I only played one tournament, but had a top 10% finish in that.
Out of 30 days in June, I collected $19.00 in HotD rewards, which is dangerously close to half my entire increase, exceeded only by freeroll income.

As I mentioned earlier, I withdrew all but seven bucks of my bankroll, I will likely be trading some of my accumulated Gold Coins to keep playing, but for the moment I'll work with what I have.

Since this thread was in support of the bankroll challenge, and I no longer participate, I'll just end this thread.

I will still play on 888, I just won't be so focused on results.

Assuming the withdrawal completes (it is currently pending) I'm going to use the money to play live poker on board the cruise (assuming nothing interferes with those plans

I played live poker on our last cruise. It was different than playing in the casinos here in Vancouver or in Vegas.
The main difference is that even hands with no flop are raked. This basically means that if you're in the BB, if you get a walk, you just get your blind back. I only played for an hour or so on the ship and broke even.

"An hour or so" of live poker is maybe 10 to 20 hands.

There is so much to do on the ship that I won't be playing a lot

That sounds bad, but in my (very small) live poker experience I haven't seen too much walks if any, so I have no idea if here in Hungary those pots are raked or not.

Well, there are a lot of things she can do — like spas and things like that.
