Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, 11+1 Tournament, 40/80 Blinds (7 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

MP1 (t1705)
Hero (MP2) (t1600)
CO (t2740)
Button (t1460)
SB (t1430)
BB (t1680)
UTG (t1525)

Hero's M: 13.33

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, A
3 folds, Hero raises to t240, 1 fold, Button calls t240, 2 folds

Flop: (t600) Q, 10, J (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t400, Hero calls t400

Turn: (t1400) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets t820 (All-In), Hero calls t820

River: (t3040) J (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: t3040

Results in white below:
Button had A, 9 (one pair, Jacks).
Hero had K, A (royal flush).
Outcome: Hero won t3040

This player had pretty high a AF (I'm playing with stats) and he pretty much trapped himself but what would be a good line to extract value here?
And also this is my first royal flush so I had to show someone..

Why do you check/call on flop? Bet ffs, you have the nuts

The reasons I did not bet were:
Him being aggresive so likely to bet if I show any weakness.
The pot being pretty big already so I only needed 2 streets to get him all in if he was willing to go broke.
Not being afraid of any draws. Although he might have a set and draw for full house this is like never the case IMO. So the cards to come can pretty much only help me and hopefully also the villain..

Hi all,

Nice hand! But I agree with viewer88. Aggressive != bad, so when we play a hand exploitably like this I think we lose value in the longrun. Just bet what you would do normally and hope he comes over the top.
