Once I fold KK preflop and they both have weaker hands. I had a read on the fish, that he limp and re-raised AA, and the regular is never bluffing on that spot. Anyway I would have lost, at least I'm a good psychic. :f_tongue:

Thanks teddypoker and isssean! I will try to update more this month.

I am in the hospital now, so I have time to write in my blog. February started very well, already up 500$ . That makes total profit for this challenge around 3300$. Since I read Napoleon Hill's book: Think and Grow Rich I haven't got motivational problems, also I managed to pass all my exams, which never happened so far . Procrastination still present, but I think it isn't so bad. I'm following the author's advice and technique on a daily basis. It consists of a morning routine: reading the Self-confidence Formula, the Definite Plan(which I wrote) and some affirmations.

I recommend to everyone who plays CGs to watch w34z3l's new series about improving the red-line. I only seen the first three parts, but already learned a lot of new ways to analyze my game. It's an eye-opener, I can't believe how many new things it taught for me.

Intresting hand:

So what happened... I wanted to play a session from my hospital bed, at first I didn't want to play NL100, because I wasn't feeling in the mood for it. But then I saw that the NL100 tables where 2 times more fishy the NL50. FML..

But my motivation is strong so, even if in 2 hours I lost the last 4 days winnings, I know that this is OK _thumbsup:, very bad run happens, can't do anything about it. This is the second biggest losing day for me in my life, and I recall, that when the other one happened I was even happy about it. I am glad, that I can lose so much money in such a short time and not be tilted/angry/too sad about it. This might sound crazy, but I even hope that I will have even worst days in the future, because that means that I'm playing higher stakes. In conclusion: tomorrow is a new day, confidence will be back and it's just a matter of time until I win everything back. _biggrin:_biggrin:

Quick update: I am around break-even, maybe 100$ profit for February. Volume is really good so far, so nothing to worry about.

Graph on Stars:

888:

This graphs are not just this month, even though I lost a lot on 888, I am happy, because I did well on PS, where I think NL25 is harder, or at least same difficulty, than NL50 on 888.

Good news: I started dancing and exercising again and my new Amazon Kindle will be delivered today. _biggrin:

A video with our dance team, I am the blonde guy in the red shirt:

Thanks iSoOwnYou! I just checked your blog, good job for making so detailed posts!

@HNRoger - Yes, I am hungarian, but I live in Transilvania. I study Computer science at Sapientia EMTE (Marosvasarhely)

Haven't updated for a while, also couldn't play at all since my last post. But I'm here now, and ready to continue my journey. I actually feel that this 5-6 days off could be useful.

Goals for the last days of February are very simple:
:diamond: Play as much as possible!
:diamond: Exercise!
:diamond: Start working on University project!

Haven't updated for a while. I couldn't play much lately, but a break from poker feels useful, because now I'm motivated and my goals are clear.

February:
:diamond: BR = 7187 $
:diamond: Profit for February = +440$
:diamond: 71 hours played => little volume

March goals:
:club: Work on University project
:club: Play minimum 60 hours of poker
:club: Finish reading Dale Carnegie's book
:club: Exercise/ rest enough/ strengthen immunity system!
:club: Improve game
:club: Review daily
:club: Continue doing the daily routine

In March I'm going to concentrate less on poker and more on university. I want to graduate this year and that requires some work and attention.

I couldn't update, because I was pretty busy. I have a cool new challenge, with my roommate, who also plays poker. We have to make total of 1000$ this month and also work a lot on our university projects. He's Pokerstrategy name is motzy92 and plays NL10 on 888. We only count our CG profits, this doesn't include rake-back.

So far:

The picture shows the first week only, I will post the next picture on 16th. This month so far is excellent. Profit is around 380$ (including RB).

9 days left and we have to make 400$. If we had a lot of time to play, it would be easy to do it. Quick update on life: Can't wait to finish university, so I can focus more on poker, sports and travelling. Also I had my first dance performance since I got sick. Although I performed poorly, it was still an amazing feeling to be on stage again. I am recovering really fast from chemo and looking forward for my next running competition which will be on April 18th. _biggrin:

We ended up failing the challenge :f_cry:, but we both made more then 500$ in March, so it's okay.

April Goals:
:diamond: Work on Uni project
:diamond: Concentrate on health and training
:diamond: Rest enough
:diamond: Compete in "Be a gunner, be a runner" - Arsenal running competition
:diamond: Play some poker too
:diamond: Review everything to maintain level
:diamond: Read a book

I can't wait to finish university, so I can play a lot of poker. _biggrin: That's why now the number one priority is my university project.

New long-term goal:
:club: Buy an apartment or open a sports betting agency

In March I read Dale Carnegie's How to stop worrying and start living, and I have to say it helped me a lot in every aspect of my life. It was the greatest timing to read it now, when there are some many stress factors: battling with cancer, finishing university and performing well in poker. I recommend it for every poker player, who has some mental game issues, it might help. _thumbsup:

Long time, no update.. :f_smile:

I was working on my university project, but now I'm back for a while. I'm in a hurry to make 950 888poker points, because on 28th May I'm going to Germany to buy a new car. I need to make a little cash-out and nearly all my money is stuck because of a big bonus.

I already have the plan for May written down. I need to be more productive then ever. Things that I have to accomplish are:

:spade: Sell my current car
:spade: Pass the remaining 6 exams
:spade: Work on Uni project
:spade: Make the 950 points, before 16th
:spade: Concentrate on health, resting enough, eating well and exercise

A reminder for me: "DO YOUR WORK, DON'T BE STUPID!" _biggrin:
