Thanks for advice
Got a $1000 freeroll ticket on Saturday

Brick Brick Brick ![]()
To be honest, Pokerstars is not the best place to start from $0
Only 2 freerolls ($2k grtd on Saturday and Sunday) might leap You from the bottom, while others don't exceed 10$ prizepool with 10k participants. You have to win that to get something decent, around $2 ♠_biggrin:
However, not being able to grind as much as I wish, I have more hours to prepare my day-to-day tasks more accurate. Last week I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how my morning procedures should look like, which assignments should be prioritized and how to stick it, not leaving it just on the paper. So although my bankroll is still "resting", I don't feel as the week was only a waste of time ![]()
This is my tasks for the coming week:
1. 2h Psychology Video
2. 2h Theory Video
3. 2h WSOP Main event video (These are my motivation boosters)
4. Collect 2 Pokerstars freeroll Tickets for a weekend
5. 4 hours on Poker material, like forums, Pokernews, articles, strategy discussions
6. Participate in a Live event
7. Earn 3 Final package satellite tickets at Ongame network (Although not related to this bankroll challenge, but still important to my schedule)
I wish to spend around 35-40 hours a week for all Poker related activities, and this plan looks to fit at least for this moment. How about You guys, how much time You dedicate to poker? I've read that some people sacrifice like 70 hours a week, what looks insane to me ♠_mad:
Ha, I can give a very ....unexpected answer!
I care about Poker during my day in the office. I come in, check blogs, talk to guys about Poker ...sometimes play a few hands.
The best thing: my boss is even aware of that and wants me to do this!
I study and play poker during work and my boss doesn't know it. However, he is avoiding me and I am avoiding him. In the meantime, I try to learn the game by also checking blogs, answering questions, participate in discussions, reading PS strategy articles and do (small) assignments such as equilab and fold equity tasks.
Weekly Review:
1. 2h Psychology Video ![]()
2. 2h Theory Video ![]()
3. 2h WSOP Main event video
Found only 1 spare hour, shame ![]()
4. Collect 2 Pokerstars freeroll Tickets for a weekend

A very little progress. This week I will have only 1 chance for a 0,11$ MTT freezout, but who knows.. ♠_pleased:
5. 4 hours on Poker material, like forums, Pokernews, articles, strategy discussions ![]()
6. Participate in a Live event
Participated but didn't cash. Busted 3way All-in pre, my AJ<KJ>A6. Flop KJ3, better luck next time
7. Earn 3 Final package satellite tickets at Ongame network
Satellite tickets earned and..

Because I already had a package for Malta, it counts for the next event which should take this May in Greece. Never been there, so it should be a great journey.
Conclusion - a good week both by work ethics & by the results. Having more $$ on PokerStars would be icing on the cake, but I know it's coming in short time ♠_cool:

Last year I was getting many night shifts in a hotel. Tried to play some Spin'N'Goes but it didn't work out for me. It's tough to play seriously when You get constantly interrupted, so sticked mostly for Tournament Replays ♠_smile: Can just imagine how You find time and shelter to play at the day time ♠_biggrin:
A list for the coming week:
1. 2 hours psychology Video
2. 2 hours Theory Video
3. 2 hours WSOP Video
4. 4 h analyze of played MTT
5. 5h Poker Info, forums, articles
6. Pick a Poker book and start reading
7. Update blog at least twice a week
8. Collect 3 final round Sattelite tickets
9. 20 hours of Play
10. Cross over $1 on Pokerstars
Has anybody any suggestions what should be included in a weekly learning routine? Any thoughts welcome ♠_smile:

im doing meditation, it helps.
Do You listen some special music, nature sounds or just inspirational words? And is this your pre-session routine or afterwards?
Just breathing. 5-10 minutes first thing in the morning and then in between the sessions ( for another 5min) if I feel I need to refocus.
I actually read this article today on the influence music have while working here it pretty much sums up how I feel about music while playing poker.
and yeah inspirational/nature stuff its complete bullshit imo.
Hey, nice blog, good luck with your goal.
Talking about meditation. It is very beneficial, you can see benefits in your everyday life not just at poker table. If you are new to it and want to try it out, i could suggest checking out www.headspace.com, that is the place where i started. Definitely have helped me, hopefully it helps you too.

This week I'm dedicating to Spins. At this moment I have 45 Buy-ins for $0,25 Level. Is this too dangerous? Can somebody give me a hand and post Bankroll management suggestions for Spins? In some articles I've found, that You can play with 40 Buy-ins, but more like recreational player. Others point that even 200 Buy-ins are not enough. What are Your thoughts on this?
