Hello I hope I am not late with my post as I had a couple of things to do on Saturday morning/afternoon!

Yesterday I calculated whether it is useful to grind 1k points within 2 days while every session is worth around 150 points. The answer was a clear no since it only differs $20 in the end, stil money is money but I couldn't be bothered with $20 as my friends called me up asking whether I join up with them and having some fun, and yes we had

Prior to that anyways, I played an afternoon session. Also I watched Steve (Bu11d0g) playing abit and we talked about topics where he was interested in to let him progress to NL50. It was a good talk imo

The session also went very well although I was abit unlucky in terms of decision making in the end, oh well the line was still up

Again, I am most happy with the NON-SD positive line and I think this has to do with the softness of player on Everest compared to more aggressive players. However this makes me take the iniative more than often, which is fine

In cliffnotes I played A total of 80 minutes which equilates to 506 hands on Everest playing like 10 tables. In this 10 tables my VPIP was 8.9 while PFR was 8.1 and 3bet% 9.1 which is a huge percentage.
As an addition my low Agg Factor displays a kind of passiveness or a lack of cbetting on the Flop but a WTSD of 46.7 BUT a W$@SD of 38.1% is kind of misleading.

According to Hold'em manager I have paid a total of $15.5 while I received 136 points. Making a simple calculation of using crossproducts:
$500 = 5000 points
x = 1 point
[500x1]/[5000] = 0.1$ is 1 point , my rakeback {without VIPstuff} is ($13.6/$15.5)x100 = 87% with this $500 Diamond Bonus of PokerStrategy.

My EverestEye is down so I cannot join the good tables but I immediately see which tables are tight and I will note them down on a scrappaper, it is just a detour but I won't purchase the program as I am leaving asap on Everest

Both guys were fishes and I dont want to put more money into a flop I know that there were gonna be overcards, plus I played the pot out of position. folding seems nitty so the call was made and I saw the call as a limp as though I had 4:1 odds.

But there were also some coolers in which I had exactly 0.5% equity ♦ lol

Nice hand sir. that sentence feels very good in my stomach whenever I say it because I just let the hand go and continue instead of sighing during a badbeat

The session ended in a good 30bb profit which I was satisfied with however I wanted to play one more session to clear this bonus even faster. However the time consuming with Steve and later on some Friends elsewhere made my mind go blurry with Alcohol. And Alcohol + Poker = No No NO!.

After I came back from my friends, I played some Team Fortress 2 to get a new Scout Weapon. I succeeded so I have to get 10 more achievements to unlock the other 2 weapons. One of them is an Energy Drink Can ♦, love it.

So for now I will be continueing playing as I do now, sounds boring but it is quite interesting to get a comfort zone with 10 - 11 tables, I mean that's a skill too!

February ended quite well although the start was horrible. On Valentine's day I started on Everest NL100 ready to pump my fist {for Angerfist...}

I want to keep this short but short in terms of written work, a picture says a thousand words right?

My bonus is like 100% rakeback so my ''real money'' line is that one if I clear the bonus.
Up till 3k hands , I played on NL100. Then I switched back to NL50 and took some shots on Nl200 with solid success.

The graph of yesterday on the contrary was really good, played 3 sessions of which I was satisfied with. In the afternoon I played all tables on Nl50 (there were like 10) and during those times, It surprised me how many fish were sitting on my tables. Surely a thing for the future

The downfall in the end of this graph was mainly due 3 typical SSS beats that sometimes have no connection at all with Matchups. Fish limp/called 88 against my nines and flops Quads, well yeah didnt expected that ♦, 1 coinflip and a typical ''I-Flat-call-JJ-on-BTN-against-a-SSp'' player against my TT...

The 3rd session gave me some tough decisions and I would like to point that out because it is more guessing and thinking logically how to react on certain opponents

Looking at this statistic and stack, one can say that he is not a good player. By the way, all players on Everest are bad and readable.

The c/c-donkbetTurn move is quite strong if the Turn is okay and now I have to guess whether he has a King or a PP. I dont give him credit for A4 and stuff for the Wheeldraw+Overcard

On the contrary I dont give him much credit for his AF but since the sample is invalid I cannot rely on that.

The line c/c-donkbet Turn doesn't make sense if he has a King. maybe if he has a weak-king but then you should check since the Turn is a blank. I decided to call his shove because I dont found it very logical - even for a fish to make this move with a King.

Turn: ($9.50) 5 (2 players)
SB bets $9.50, Hero calls $4.25 (All-In)

River: ($18) Q (2 players, 1 all-in)

Total pot: $18
Main pot: $18 between SB and Hero, won by Hero

Results:
SB had 9, 9 (one pair, nines).
Hero had J, J (one pair, Jacks).
Outcome: Hero won $17.10

Another scenario with more statistics, I found this play more interesting because Villain is a ''decent'' TAG

Call open was 0% so I either put him on a good hand or a medium hand. However his check/raise percentage and Agg Factor & Frequency betrays or tells me that mostly he is not doing this with a Jack. I can find AJ in his range but mostly it is either 99/88 and stuff like AQ what's not reraisable against a SSplayer.

I called and saw 44, well it could be worse

Good day guys, another good day on Everest poker My 2nd day on Everest poker started off very well. I think this has to do because of the times I played on Everest. While Evening may give the best traffic, surely on some afternoon times it is more +EV to play there. Although I play the whole limit (10 tables), being 5 stacks up in 247 hands is impressive.

Although the level is not really great, I dont feel like being back on Nl100 again. I see this period as a period of grinding NL50 + get the $500+$50 bonus, I got a $50 bonus from Everest where I have to cash 500 points within 3 days after the Diamond bonus, basically 100% rakeback again

So after that, I have my Test-Week and then I am already at like 21st of March, well that's the time I go back to iPoker on both Mansion poker, clearing the FirstDeposit bonus and another iPoker skin clearing my VIP loyalty bonus

Let's look back and one sees my graph of today:

The first session I played was with NL200 tables since I had to replace tables to maximize my 'Earning-Points' capacity, yes this is wrong thinking at some point but I don't want to lose my bonus because I played way too less

I was a real luckbox in one hand and I didnt noticed it untill I saw what the hell he was doing. I mean YouBetiFold but no he checked behind on the Flop. But yeah that's what you get with slowplaying ay

Ok I COMPLETELY NEGATED my position here and was chasing the Dead Money. Also MP3+CO+BTN were Tight-Passive so if they 3bet, I will be dead and against a call, I only continue when I have hit the thing. If they check behind, I delay c-bet.
SB was a 40/3 -23 hands Fish but I was in position against him

So basically I could c-bet 1/2 pot on the Flop, its dry + Ace High and most calling ranges would be broadway, PP but also Ax.

I only didn't trust the normal betting line so I sticked to my gameplan: No hit? No bet!.

On the Turn, I obviously valuebet and the River brings me a miracle 2 outer and I shipped it. If the River wasn't a Queen or King, I would check/f it against this guy.

The tables were good yesterday, let's see if they are good tonight
Oh and I feel positive towards Nl200, trying to get the scared money thing away :)!

Since I wasnt able to write yesterday due sessions, school & coaching, I willl make a double post today. This post is dedicated to the day-before yesterday so the fourth of March

So on Wednesday I played 2 sessions, one in the afternoon and 1 after Xarry's coaching, what also was interesting is that the minimum buyin is 20bb now instead of 10bb meaning that those pesky ministackers who shove AJ from UTG for 10bb aren't there anymore ! They either are gone or are shortstacking in a bad bad way, easy to exploit

Well the first session was a bit slow, only seeing the Nl200 tables with potential profit. I only played 2 tables on it though due the lack of traffic there. But still plenty of fishes on NL200, not the limit you would expect them to sit ♦

I played 10 tables in both sessions and thankfully my PC could hold it, it isnt the best PC in the world (7600GT as in graphics cards) but It still can manage to run the games I play properly

I noticed on 1 table there was a huge fish sitting and he got lucky a few times against several opponents including me so we had a history. He makes all kind of strange bluffs and plays and his stack could range from $10(20bb) to $250 (500bb) .. anyway I got 2 stacks from him within 2 hands aka 2 minutes:

The last hand I want to discuss was one based on intuition and his betting pattern since I didnt believed a bit about his ''representation''. unfortunately there were no stats but I think basic logical thinking can rule out some hands during the hand:

Maybe a weird call on the River because i was either putting him on a PP or a better Ace but why minbetting Flop & Turn with a better Ace? hm practically I found the call questionable but his stack was deep and I saw him doing some pretty crazy stuff on the tables prior to this hand.

I agree but if I want to achieve FE, I have to raise big against this fish. On the flipside, I just have A5o which easily is hammered down against A6o+. I put him on a middle PP or overcards bluff.

If he has a hand, I rather give him as less as possible- raising would simply commit myself and I didnt have stats on the table yet since this was my first hand

There were some decent women but looking at long-term, I have built up something with one of them. Short-term result ofcourse was: Having fun

So kinda feels good to be back on the writing track, learning still hasnt begun for my exams (first one is coming friday but oh dear I have to hand in a practical assignment on Thursday.. yegh blegh =(( )

I only had one opportunity to play and I chose the Afternoon session around 13:00 CET till 14:00 CET. The rest was busy doing stuff for school..

It wasnt really a responsible play as I had shitloads to do but so what? - if I dont play I dont get anything from my bonus on Everest beat that badbeat School!

So yeah basically when the weekend were rough and funny, next weekend will be Serious and Intense. If I get good results now, I am close to getting my necessary points which heavily influences my mood Believe it or not, I can get quite moody during the days whenever my school results are bad.
Im not a person that didnt passed a test and say ''Oh well learn better next time!'' No, I literally sit down, think, write down some serious consequences on how to improve my attitude towards this etc.etc.

Same goes for poker If I dont play my A-game, I simply quit and do something else!!

As this session concerns, only 8 tables of Nl50 were available, I didnt bothered Nl100 so I switched over to 3 tables Nl200 and 6 Nl50 because on the other 2 I already doubled up. It went fine and there were loads of fishes there on both limits! I even saw a 21/5 dude openraising UTG+2 and 4betting my light3bet on MP when I had Aces. He showed 77 which kinda shocked me because of his 21/5 stat on NL200, I had expected AK+,JJ+ or so.

Session was good and comforting especially when I watched WWE! Smackdown at the same time. I sacrificed a table for it but that didnt mattered since there werent that many on Everest anyways ♦

The great up line was a double up as I said against this 77-dude - kinda standard ofcourse but the greatest play I saw was against a dude I dont really expected that he would pay me off:

By simply doing the Bet-Bet-Bet line, I could extract the value and I sometimes mix this one up with C/R Flop or C/C Flop and then c/r Turn or donkbet Turn, It all depends on the Opponents I play against.
With a stack of 27bb - I didnt left the table because there were not many tables and the table itself was juicy. Anyways The only questionable bet was the 2/3 potsized bet on the Flop, I could have make it $2 but I thought I only let better hands + overpairs call me.

The 3 on the river was horrifying me since any overpair would win unf. He showed me ATo which was a likely limping holding.

So far this blog post, my stats as in VPIP/PFR were nitty but hella I dont mind that ♦
