Collin, I was very surprised to see you multitable 24-man super-KOs yourself in this video starting from 20:26 :f_eek: (I'd been the first one to play them on your stream, but that wasn't taken seriously, so I thought the format wouldn't reappear on a Pokerstrategy coaching for a few years.)

Do I take it right that you'd never been a reg of multitable hyper-super-KOs as of the time of that stream, and that you simply decided to load them to fill the MTTSNG break and then decided to continue loading them after the break for fun? If you'd been a reg there at some point, what are your ROIs and sample sizes at SKO 18/24/36-mans (separately for each field size, please)?

Tony, your analysis there is exactly correct -- just filling up tables, I've never been a reg in that specific format or I'd be happy to provide the info you're looking for.

This week on the coaching ... Pokerstrategy's own Maniac comes on! He'll play low-stakes 9-man as we talk strategy :)

Honigmund is a GTO maniac, though :f_tongue:

It's remarkable that the community's interest in 9-mans has spiked recently, perhaps that's a consequence of Collin's choice of this format for the video on building a bankroll :f_tongue:, which I don't really disagree with because non-KO 9-mans are available at a wide range of sites, unlike KOs, which run almost exclusively at Stars, I guess.

If Honigmund were to make such a video, he'd choose 45-mans, I guess, and probably mix in larger field MTSnGs as well, though the traffic is smaller there. (It's a pity that $0.10 360-mans are so rare, they can only act as a supplement to 45-180-mans.)

Is it not enough even when mixing Party, 888 and iPoker? :f_confused:

No way! On iPoker traffic is nearly zero, same on RedKings, on Party traffic decreased a again, you can play like 10 SnGs per hour, I always had to add the DONs.

Has stars 9man sng died that badly then? I have imagined that smaller stakes would still run decently?

Ghale, I just play very little on Stars cause I´m not tracked there but last time I did there weren´t many 9-mans available, only at 50 cent to 1 $ limits. If you wanna go higher than 3.50 $, then you can play like 10 SnG per hour or so? :why: Even at my beloved SnG-MTTs traffic decreased massively!!!! :rage: You can wait forever until a 1$ 180-man starts or a 4.50 $ on demand or a non-turbo 27- or 45-SnG-MTT 3,50 $ and higher.

You can get enough Stars turbo SNG tables if you mix KOs in.

You can't get many non-turbo tables nowadays, so embrace the turbos :f_drink:

Yup, the 9-man KO traffic is high at the $3 level too and somewhat decent up to $10.

This is your old mindset issue that you need to discuss with Honigmund :f_wink: even though non-turbo MTTs are still outnumbering turbo and hyper ones.

I'm rather Protential's disciple, he made a living with turbos and only then started adding more non-turbos when he became a postflop expert too.

That´s exactly the point: post flop edge! That´s why I prefer non-turbos.
