But what I wanted to say with that normaly Vs bet a wieder range then thay call or rais, because u know, aggression leads to more winning pots then passivity.

How do you proceed on the turn if you believe villain to have a reasonable calling range here?

Forgetting the fact I was a 3:1 favourite in this hand and was sucked out. Is this always standard? By this I mean what type of villains are you likely to keep the aggression up (Stats would be useful e.g 60/40/5) and against what villains do you check back and try to hit one of your outs. I am just wanting to hone my game in and consider what opponents would flat middle set/top set on this flop and to whom I am a relative underdog on the turn (if my FD is dead)

Equitywise u have not enough when pushing this hand against any better FLushdrawDraw with a pair or better. Against every other reasonable hand you have a push, but are still behind even against a nacked NFDraw.
Ingame i would go with my hand and push it no matter what type of player I am up against.

But the thing is, do we realy have some FE on that Turn?
And on the other side, do u realy want to chbehind, miss 2/3 of the deck and fold, because V knows your weekness?
Also do you have a balnaced chback-range? Otherwise I would never show eakness on purpose when u are weak, but have enough equity to push the turn!

I hope that would help. I like these kinds of discussion:f_love:

Yeh, I mean it is such a strong draw and if villain does stay in the hand and I pot/GII on the turn he is not getting the odds to call. Even a pair and NFD is likely scared as I am representing sets+, combo draws. Thanks for the discussion, I do think it is a standard GII with all the money in the pot. I mean, I have pot and a bit and pot should get folds on the turn or be called by the hands I was but the villains cards at this time are irrelevant.

Leak Busting
So after watching Kyberri's video for mine and SegalStevens hand histories I applied a bit of his Leak Busting to my whole database. I have now played 50k hands at PLO2/5 so wanting to see if I had changed my play from the first 10k hands he has so kindly reviewed in the video.

If you haven't seen it the link is here

The video is really good for plugging some general leaks you may have, they are specific to our hand histories but I don't see why you couldn't use PT4 to apply some filters like Kyberri did in this video.

Leaks to correct:

Not C-betting in opened pots from the SB (SB v BB)
This instantly caps my range and allows villains to float me IP with absolute air where my range will be quickly defined in a lot of situations, by c-betting flop I get folds from villain holding complete air and from hands that have just missed boards completely.

Cold Calling 3-bets/4-bets
Being the agresor in a pot is much more profitable in the long run. By cold-calling bets I am leaving room for players to 4-bet light with marginal hands and sandwhiching myself between two aggro opponents often with weak hands myself relative to the action.

Long Sessions
I have done a bit of filtering for this month in my database and found some interesting results for profit by session lengths. I will post the results soon I just want to check the tables/hands played/ev (some losing sessions could have simply been down to running bad)

Expect session results for the past 5 days coming up and some details of my leakbusting later on today. :f_cool:

Again, the link to the video is here

So I haven't really put any session results up since the 19th or so. I'll just keep you guys up to date, if anyone reads this haha.

Session Results:

(19/07) Profit: $8.25
(20/07) Profit: -$21.05
(21/07) Profit: +$13.54
(22/07) Profit: -$40.42
(23/07) Profit: +$7.14
(24/07) Profit: +$15.73
(25/07) Profit: -$12.81
(26/07) Profit: +$33.12

Overall I am still down from last week however, I am feeling much happier about my game and reducing my 3-bet % OOP vs stations (which tilted me like crazy when the call down with JJ overpair), C-betting more, checking/giving up much less than I was last month. I am also opening less from EP and completing less from the BB with rubbish PP's (88J3 vs EP pot and 3 calls)

So I haven't played for a couple days. Going to get back on the grind today, smash 5PLO and some shot taking at 10PLO regular tables to start and maybe open up zoom later on during the session (around peak time).

I am just going over some aims on improving my game:
Reviewing My Game
[*] Compare C-bet percentages for this week to all play since June (referring to Kyyberi's video)
[*] Compare opening from LP to openings in general from all play since June

Training:
[*] Watch Phil Galfond and Whitelimes PLO series, the stakes are massive compared to me but the theory still applies.
[*] Analyse tagged hands in PT4 in much more depth, ask peoples opinions in hand discussion and on skype groups more.

I also traded the 2250 FPP's for $25 so my bankroll is up.

Bankroll Update: $221.68

General Ramblings
Just wanting to see if anyone has any particular views on spots where you can be betting the sucker end of straights a lot of the time. I was getting in to a few of these situations in my sessions and wondering what your thoughts were;

Board is :8x::4x::Tx: rainbow, you are holding :5x::6x::7x:

[*] OOP do you just check call?
[*] IP do you check behind?

A draw like this can be very vulnerable, I guess it is very player dependant, whether you are in a 3-bet pot etc. But for purely being hypothetical you are against a random opponent HU what are your actions. Do you bet, bet/fold on a :7x: on the turn? How do you play a :9x:?

Session Results:
- Hands Played: 1396
- Profit: +$20.68

Had a great session, was close to $30 but took a bad beat near the end of my session. Had two 1 hour stints, weirdly they were both 1 hour and 15 minutes without being timed, must just be my natural stop off point. Very happy with play, my c-bet flop % is going up, not just aimlessly c-betting but I am c-betting far higher than I previously was as the PFR. I am also c-betting blind on blind at a much higher frequency which is something Kyyberi pointed out in the community video.

I have now left PLO2/PLO2 ante and I am focusing on the regular 5PLO/10PLO tables. My bankroll allows this, I am around 50BI at 5PLO and 25 at 10PLO so I am playing a split weighted towards 5PLO currently. Today I 9 tabled with a split of 6/3 and 7/2 through my session, the 10PLO games were crazy (average pot of $7) and I found the whales

Dealing with a maniac. How do you play against him/her? Share the wisdom:milord:
There was one absolute maniac at the table who must have swung $100 backwards and forwards during this time; his stats were 98/91/3 with a 3b of 85. I countered this by limp 4-betting premium vs his random holdings. How do you play against a maniac like this? Limp call a tonne and bink two pair? When I was in such spots with 2NF I just called down and bet all in on the river at which point he generally tank folded but it was a decent strategy for me.

OOP
vs a nit c/r
vs aggro c/c

IP
vs a nit bet
va aggro check, because i wouldn't like to get check raised.

:7x: bet/ fold

I try to build big pots prefolp with premiums.
Postflop they often play fit or fold and the never seem to understand spr.
