EP:
22+, AJo+, KQo+, ATs+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, T9s
MP:
22+, ATo+, QJo+, A9s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs, 78s+
CO:
22+, All aces, All broadways, K8o+, Q9o+, J8o+, 56s+, 64s+
BTN:
22+, All aces, All broadways, All Kings, Q7o+, J8o+, T8o+, 56s+, 64s+, 74s+
SB:
22+, A9s+, KJo+, QJo+, 78s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs
BB:
22+, A9s+, KJo+, QJo+, 78s+, KTs+, QTs+, JTs
Obviously these ranges vary depending on the opponents I play, I always try to adapt to them. For some reason I find these ranges the best for me, what do you think? I have tried to loosen up a bit more but it doesn't seem to work that good on NL2.
Ready for some discussion.

Hmm I know ppl opening these ranges, but this is my opinion. Oh and everybody calls me a nit anyway
EP: a bit to loose for meI'm not even sure if I open KTs in UTG tbh. So KTs, QTs,JTs is a bit loose and here is because. I think because ppl are soo fishy and loose I should nit up a bit. I want hands with a lot of highcardvalue etc. Now I know that KTs is a highcard value hand. But fish call all Ax hands which makes your KTs not so nice anymore.
Also if you raise and mp calls, you're going to be in family pot a lot of the times with KTs in UTG. I don't like it. But hey it's open for discussion ♦MP: I do AJo and ATs, not ATo ♦ And QJs and probably JTs.
CO: I agree there but I don't do it. Like K8o, I don't open it because I think I'm going to spew with it.
BTN: almost every hand, hard to write down a range. I steal shitloads.
SB and BB I really can't say. It's so player dependent. I'm really nitty in the SB when I have a solid player to my left. But if there is a dude that steals a lot orb I 3b a bit more. BB depends where they open from/who opened...
I'm a nit

About the EP. Even though it is loose, I think it is that loose tbh, all suited broadways most of the times is $$$ when hit, but even if you get involved in family pot it is so easy to throw it away if you miss.
The ranges I use I actually implemented them from Blackrain79's book only with minor adjustments in EP and MP, "Crushing The Microlimits", and they work very good for me so far. Maybe if you take a glance at the book, you would figure why, it's basically due to the fact that most of the players at NL2 don't have a clue about position etc. Like if your range would be AKs+ from EP doesn't mean that they expect you to have it from that position. They don't know what to expect from any position, so you can easily play hands as KTs+, QTs+, JTs+. So the most important thing is not to make static ranges overall at microstakes, you just need to be very adaptive to your opponents range. I hope you get my point here.

i think by opening ALL Ax hands from CO is a little loose. i think you want a little more equity than that. the lowest Axo hand i go is A8 from CO, but i do open all Axs hands from there. also i think you should be opening a lot less suited 1 gappers. probably start from like 86s imo..
i like your SB range! lots of people play too loose from SB and get into trouble postflop OOP. and obviously as you say it really depends on villain so we can't really have a static range from SB. or BB for that matter since it really depends.
Well I can't really say that your opinion is good or bad either, because these ranges I use have been working quite well for me so far. But you need to have pretty good discipline to play such hands, because sometimes you need to do some crazy lay downs when you are beat. CO range to be honest varies as well, I use HUD to determine when to open raise Ax hands when I have limpers behind, very villain dependent.
The main point I think it is when you have such polarized range, you still will play straightforward poker at NL2, so the range in my opinion is OK. Raise value, fold if missed. Easy game. ♦
This is the result playing these ranges this week.

Had one of the worst sessions. All my nut hands were beaten really bad, run into coolers etc.
This is the graph for this week. ![]()

Won't play at the weekends at all.
Hands played: 901
Current BR: €46.25
Huge disappointment.

This made me lol and my GF asked what was going on :faceplam: Try to explain that
Hey Rihard! It does look like your ranges are working!
But I don't think the problem is that they don't know what to expect from which position. My problem is being OOP. Now if there are a bunch of passive ppl that check behind the whole time then I'd open 100%, but ppl are just stabbing the whole time etc. And if they stab I can call him down from time to time with Ah if it's a good board.
And you are right it's important to not have static ranges. On nl2 it's not a big problem but once you get higher you have to open hands according to your opponents.
I hope this makes some sense
Short story I agree w/ you

I got a Wowee Speaker, I don't yet how I will receive it, but I will defo contact Unibet support about that. I checked amazon, and that shit costs 50 quid. ![]()

Do you have any tips for getting on tables?
It seems unibet has no waiting lists. Do you use any software to table select? Or do you just stare at the lobby and hope a seat randomly frees up?
Thx

I don't stare, nor I use any software. At the beginning of the session I jump into random tables, and then once in a while I check lobby in case a table with high P/F appears with a seat. That's it.

Word Ras.
So okay, before I start my today's session I wanted to open up another discussion related to ranges. How do you face an open raise depending on the villain and his/her position? So my ranges are the following.
Villain open raise EP:
Call with - 22+, AQo+, All suited broadways.
3bet with - QQ+Villain open raise MP:
Call with - 22+, AJo+, All suited broadways, T9s
3bet with - JJ+Villain open raise CO:
Call with - 22+, ATo+, All suited broadways, QJo+, KJo+, 78s+, 86s+
3bet with - TT+, AKsVillain open raise BTN:
Call with - 22+, AQo+, All suited broadways, T9s
3bet with - TT+, AKs, AQs, AJsObviously these ranges vary depending on the villain, because against a tight villain approach is quite tighter and the same with looser villain the ranges loosen up a bit. What do you think? For me, these ranges work quite well. Maybe they are too loose? I don't think so, because I do quite disciplined lay downs.

Tbh, I was really referring to if there are no seats available.

Never happened to me, so can't really help in that regard.

Open new tables? Fish don't like to wait and the table will fill up with fish!

Yeah, that's what I've been doing actually =D
Just finished my session which at the end was epic.
Started really swingy, but then the last ~200 hands made me a lot of profit.
Feels good. Just couple buy-ins more and I can start to take shots at NL4 1 tabling. When I hit 80 euro mark, I will open up one table of NL4 and just play, and if I fall 2 buy-ins below I will go back to NL2 until I will be comfortable to move up to NL4. ![]()

Hands played (session): 1311
Current BR (+rakeback): €75.74
Not bad huh?
Me and my buddies have memorised all the pf ranges in this blog and will be waiting for you at nl4. ![]()
