What time does this start For Australia/Sydney time and how logn does it usually go for?
It starts around 20:30 CET imo. The duration depends on the place you finish at. It can take some hours to reach the final table, but it's worth it.

If you go on Poker Stars, go to tournaments, then look at it, it should tell you what time it starts, in your timezone. Their software's time is based off your local zone, not the server's zone.

Poker stars isnt set to my timezone, it seems to be 2 hours slower than my time.
But its ok, it starts in 8hrs30mins so im going to have a nap so im fresh for it.

I've never been staked online before.

He'll send the stake an hour or so before the tourney begins. In the meantime, install IRC and join the PS chan
