6 max hypers

- Avg games per week = 500
- Tables played at once = 4 (would like 6, also if you have any tips)
- Days played = 7 days a week, every week
- Time spent into poker = 30+ hours a week
- Current ROI = 3-4% lately
- total games played = 300 at 3.50$ level, but restarting them since switching to HU hypers so I have played 5k game on 888 poker (0.11$ and 1$ level)

Hello!

I have been playing the 7$ 6max hyper turbo sngs on pokerstars for a couple of months now. Before that i played 6max turbo sngs on other sites.

I play about 1500-2000 games a month and also spend time reviewing hands on HRC to improve my understanding of icm. I have only played a couple of thousand games and my roi is somewhere around 2%-3%.

It would be awesome to get someone to help me with finding some extra value in these games, especially when the blinds are low (and possibly something about exploiting opponent's play in the later stages and deviating from nash).

If none of the coaches want to coach 6max hypers I would also be up for a coaching on 6max turbos since I probably will be playing them in the future too at least to clear some bonuses.

I don't have any spesific coach I would want to get the coaching from, just the one who can help me the most. Thank you, i hope you will choose me since it would surely be a huge boost for me in improving my game! :)

Hi

My name is Filipe Lopes, i'm a hand evaluator in the mtt forum of the portuguese/brazilian community, poker has been my only source of income for 3 years now, i consider myself a decent/good mtt player, even though i'm currently struggling. Here is my all time profit in mtts with all my accounts:

79k profit looks good, but the last 3 months look like this:

Obviously this last 3 months have been tough, i've been struggling to get out of this slump, and this as taken its toll on my mental game.

I would like to get coaching in mtts stakes up to 22$, i don't have a prefered coach, as i'm pretty sure any mtt coach from pokerstrategy.com can help me with my struggles. I feel like a need a new insight into my game, that can perhaps help me find and correct leaks in my game, and take it into the next level. Helping me would also be helping the portuguese/brazilian community in the mtt forum, as i intend to share my knowledge with the members of that community as a hand evaluator.

I would also (if possible) like to get coaching from ErikStenqvist regarding my mental game struggles and tilt related issues. I think i've seen all his videos in pokerstrategy.com, and really enjoyed them, but i feel that i'm not always able to apply the knowledge that i get from them. For instance with mindfullness, i feel like its not always effective to me, as i feel i'm a little too impatient and anxious to get to the tables and get results that get me out of this slump, that i don't focus enough in mindfullness. I know that i'm being results oriented and that i shouldn't be, but its hard for me to change this state of mind, any help from ErikStenqvist regarding this would be much appreciated.

Regards

Filipe Lopes

Hi,

Game type: HU Hyper turbo SnGs, $7 stake

Fav coach: Ragney/wriggers- follow both your blogs btw

Been playing poker for about 2 years, started HU hypers about 6 months ago, spent ages on 3.5s as small winner but had a few big swings. Finally got a roll to play 7s and went on a massive heater.

Got a new laptop recently so only got 1k games on pt4, want to move up to 15s asap, but first wanna play at least 3k games at 7s as consistent winner. Still don't feel confident in some spots, and some reviews of my games would be cool!

Hello all,

Game type: HUSnG Hypers

Coach: Ragney & Wriggers - love the blogs

Played for a number of years as a break even/slight winner and pretty much gave it away after persevering with a couple other sites (888, iPoker) but found the low traffic making it harder to get numbers up.

Looking at setting back up on FTP or PS with HUSnG and would like to take a run at the Turbo/Hypers, purely because of the volume that can be played. Have probably played a couple 1000 games over the time but would love the opportunity to sit down with someone who has a good understanding on what it takes to become a winning player.

Might not work for some of the coaches as i am in Australia but if chosen, happy to work around any time differences to make it happen.

Thanks for reading :)

I would like LTT (<3) for coaching because he is my idol on poker strategy and I feel he can teach me to crush turbo 6 max stakes 30-60s and beyond.
Currently play Stars 6 max 15s as main game and some 30s with very little 60s.

Hey guys!

I would like to get a NL coaching.
I am playing NL100 Zoom at the moment but I don't have the impression that my game is good enough to step up to the next level. I would like to get looked over my game so I can plug some leaks and successfully move up.

My favorite coach would be Pleno1.
I know that this christmas coaching thing is mainly focused on micro stakes players so I will give something back and offer 2 hours of coaching to NL50 and below players.

hi

I would like to apply for coaching at NL5 6 max.

I have been really struggling with NL5 on stars and am down more money that i'd like to admit on stars. I really thing I can learn a lot from a coaching session as I am keen to learn as much as I can, I feel I would be a good student and I really need to break out of NL5 in 2014 and start moving up to NL10 and so on.

I have recently moved house and I have set up my new grinding station (first things first and all that) I am also putting together a libary where I will have all my poker books and magazines etc as well as my note books that I use when reading articles etc. So I am well organised and really ready to get in to some serious study now that I have finished college lol.

Most of my losses on stars NL5 have come from tilt and im losing money at showdown whereas im about break even from non showdown. I have Holdem manager and can post up stats and graphs etc to the potential new coach if this helps.

If pleno1 can coach me at NL5 that would be great as I have used his advice on the forum before and im keen to learn more from him but i would be happy with any coach that can help me finally break out of NL5 on stars.

Thank you

Hi!!!

I'm a fixed limit player, I was playing 6 max up to 0,25/0,5 but started to loose and couldn't make the volume required to take the numbers back to positive.

But after hearing a lot of HU Fixed Limit S&G I tried them and I'm getting great results at the lowest limits of course (up to $7) by now and building my way up.

I would like to get a coach from Boomer2k10, mainly because I have studied all his material for fixed limit here on ps and on its show that he makes with madorjan, and with a coach session I know I can take all this into a solid strategy to beat higher limits for sure

I'm so motivated that I'm bringing back my blog too, since I stoped writing because of bad results and low volume.

Hi, i would love to receive a Christmas coaching by a zoom player who crushed the micros and actually played there.

Been currently struggling between NL5-NL10 ZOOM at Pokerstars.
Break even for the last ~40k hands.

Crushed NL 2 with ~ 14-15bb/100

NL5 went well in the beginning and i even shot NL10, however, lost few buy ins and returned to NL5 where was break even for a while. Converted some FPP's and bonuses and tried NL10 again - not much success though.

I think i really need someone more experienced player to review my game, guide me through the best play at these limits and help me fix my gameplay.

Thx for the consideration and all the best :)

Hi,

I would like to apply for Omaha coaching, by Skodljivec if possible.

I just started out PLO10 (stars), planning to move up to PLO25 soon.

I would like to get the free coaching mainly because I would love to have the opportunity to have my game reviewed by someone who already crushed these limits.

I can ensure that I will not be afraid to ask any questions, and will try to make the most of the free coaching.

My prefered method would be recorded session review. :)

Pretty boring stuff I wrote above, huh?

WHY PICK ME?

Because I will actually plug the leaks and work on my game, and put the volume in... ALSO

Additional Information: I have been an on-and-off micro to low stakes PLO player for two years, albeit with no success until the end of this summer, when I decided I want to try and make a living off poker. Cashing in a moderate amount of my net winnings in MTTs, I decided I need to put my heart to the game I enjoy the most. So I started off by grinding PLO10 to PLO25, albeit I have yet to prove myself I am a winning player in the latter (EV-wise). I have several leaks which need working with (3betting percentage, note-taking, flatting vs 3betting), so I am sure some help would pinpoint me in the right direction.

Results: Although I am a luck-sack, this is definitely not the way to go if I want to stand my ground in this bumpy game. Hence I need counselling.

Info on me:

I have been playing poker for some years now, still on NL10 with roll for NL25, but money scared, cause my game is not good for it. Had a nice year of poker, until November when I lost 1/3 of my BR. I manage to put in from 15k to 25k hands every month while also working, but now during winter I have more free time for learning and playing poker.

About results:

You can guess where the month of November started?

Hello!

I would like to start by saying thank you to pokerstrategy for this awesome promotion and hopefully i will be one of the lucky ones with the coaching present under my tree this year :)

Little about me! I have been playing poker for fun couple years now, but for the last year started to approach it more seriously. Have actually started to study, review hands and put some work in not just donate money at the tables. For more than a half year i played only 6max hyper STTs and went up to 7s at stars, but felt like this is not the right format for me because of the huge variance and need of insane volume to be really successfull at them. So iv been learning cash games for the last few months now. Found out pretty fast that i enjoy 6max zoom poker the most and thats what i have been playing for last 3 months. It was pretty easy to move up to nl10 and this feels THE limit to master the basics of the game, as the oponents seem to be skilled enough and price for learning and experimenting with different things is not so high. I would like to think that im a winning player, at least it feels like that, but i cant say for sure as i have only 100k+ hands played at this limit.

Why i need a coach!? I think that i have hit the point that im able to recognize the mistakes i make and feels like i know the spots were improvements are necessary to be able to crush the limit. I think i could face the coach with already made plan where i need help and which spots id like to discuss so our session would be really productive and i could squeeze the maximum out of it so it would not be a wasted opportunity.

As for the choice of coach: ofc i would much appreciate any "freeroll" help from more experienced player/coach, but if there is an option of choice then id like to be coached by MR Bogdan. Why? Because i think that its really important to be not only skilled and able to beat higher stakes, but more important- be familiar with the stake you are giving a coaching, which means that coach can give good advice about overall tendencies of this limit and the best ways to deal with them. Iv noticed that big part of the learning material and suggestion from "good players" might not be working on micro stakes, just because of the difference in thinking level and even more in zoom poker were hand sample/lack of stats on my oponents is always a problem. And as MR Bogdan regularly gives live coachings on the same stake and as im used to his way of explaining things from these coachings i think this might be the "best fit" for me.

So the summary:

Stake: nl10 SH Zoom

Coach: Bogdan

Hey hey,

I'm currently playing on pacific regular tables up to nl200 currently. But i'd like to play zoom beside it to make volume, but zoom is tougher than normal tables. Or i just spew too much.

I'd like nl50zoom coaching from pleno or BsB!
