Hello everyone.

Game: 25NL SH - normal tables. Mixing sometimes zoom session in between but mostly it's normal tables.

Would Like to be coached by:

BogdanPS. I like your analytical approach so I think you would be the best fit for me. I'm rolled for NL50 but I don't think I'm ready for going up and session with coach would definitely give me some hints on what to work on more.

ErikStenqvist. December is my first month on taking poker more seriously. My goal was to play 4h 5 days a week. + 180 min/week of working on my game. What I lack is execution. I'm already 2h behind and it's not even 1/3 of the month. Been watching your videos and I think watching it helped me in some way but actually speaking with you about my concrete problems would probably help me even more.

History:
I started playing poker 5 years ago but been taking it more seriously in 2013. This year I've been more systematic, reading material about some specific topics and then working on it.
Also set myself some specific goals. Been jumping from format to format because I wasn't sure and probably subconsciously I didn't want to dive in and instead I was just wasting my time and energy.
I do believe I settled my mind on cash game so my main focus is directed towards this format.
This year sample NL25: 71033 hands, winrate:2,24 bb/100. Being breakeven is never fun so I would like to become winning player.

my blog: Quarter pro - New start (page 7) -> NL5 -> NL10 -> NL25

For this specific session(s) I would like to work on:

BogdanPS - defending from the blinds (playing vs opp ranges - 3b, flatting range, plan postflop). We could do a sweat session although I would prefer talking about specific topic.

ErikStenqvist - talking about managing my perception of money and how to cope with money influence on my mentality at the tables. I'm too result oriented and this definitely influences my level of play.

Good luck to all :)

Favorite coaches: Pleno1, BogdanPS & BrokeSoBroke

Info about me:

I am more or less a BE/slightly winning player at 25NL atm, before black friday I used to be a winning player @ 50nl rush. But after my break I haven't gotten to that point yet. I am working a lot on my game, but I am doing this by myself and have never received any coaching from somebody yet.

My goal is to move up to 50NL first and after be able to beat 100NL by the end of next year, help me become a better player and reach my goal!

Why pick me

It has always been my dream to make a living from playing poker. Why? Because poker is my passion and I love the game! However I'm still reasonable so last summer I started at sports university as a plan B. The study itself was great, but to be honest I couldn't get my pokerdream out of my head so it was impossible to focus on my study. After a very long and tough decision I decided to quit my study (2 weeks ago) and now I will focus on my poker solely at least until next summer. I told my mother how i felt about poker about 2 years ago, and she's finally started to support me now, so telling her that i quitted the study wasnt that big of a deal, but i still need to tell the rest of my family including my father, which will be really tough, since poker in Denmark has quite a bad reputation and isnt accepted at all by most people.
What makes me different from the rest? My willpower, enthusiasm and dedication. Some strive to become, I strive to overtake.

Coaches

Pleno1: You probably dont remember, but I already wrote you about a year ago when i was playing nl5. You told me to wait till i reaches a higher limit - so here i am again! Nothing has changed since then and I'm ofcause still very interested in your coaching.

Itsnevereasy: If you got the nerve to take me on ;)

Schnitzelfish: As you can read I'm starting to play fulltime and therefore I'll face a whole new aspect I've never faced before namely productivity, self discipline and staying motivated . I've made a schedule for myself in microsoft word already but i dont know how to upload it here. I've worked a lot on my mentality in the game, but what I might lack is to work at my mentality outside the game and therefore this offer is great for me. I've read all your exspectations and im sure i won't dissapoint you, however the point about: "the student has already taken action and implemented some of my free materials from pokerstrategy" I'm not too sure about. I've read some of your blog, and watched some of your videos, but not sure i honestly can say I've implemented some of it. If there's some stuff you want me to do before the coaching, like reading your block, trying to implement some things or watching something specific just pm it to me.

Would like a coaching by Boomer2k10.

Game type: Limit hold'em 0,25/0,50

Its the stake I've been playing on the most. ~240k hands tracked probably ~300k in total. Usually playing 6-8 tables, sometimes up to 12 if conditions are fair. I've been doing alright but I feel my progress gamewise has stagnated and I could do with an overhaul cause I might have gone blind to something obvious. And I want to advance to higher limits the coming year, having my aim at 1/2 again but for that I kinda want some confidence in my game which I'm currently lacking. I've been playing up to 2/4 before but have not been doing well on the limits above 0,50 really.

Would like to be coached by BogdanPS/ursusmm/everyoneissolid/pleno1

game type: atm I play nl16/nl25 standard SH tables on stars. just recently moved from nl10. Usually I play 12 tables. Would like to polish my game, play more agressive.

results (database since June)

would be interested if my coach could look at my database/point at possible leaks according to stats, OR do a pre-recorded session review. This is why I would preffer BogdanPS due to his analytical aproach (I like his special beginners coachings & videos a lot).

why pick me:
I started to put in 150 hours of play/month to reach platinum status and plan to go for Supernova next year. However, I lack theoretical approach and atm I don't study/review as much as I'd like to. As I have some health issues, having a regular job is no option for me, therefore I'd like to invest as much time into poker as possible.

this month (56hours/13days played)

Hi!

I am a SNG and MTT player. SNG's has been my main game most of the time, (6max) and now I have a situation where I can move up one limit (20$ tourneys) but dont really feel comfortable yet, since I dont feel like "crushing" my current (11$) stakes, therefore I would benefit incredibly from a coach ATM.

If there is no chance of someone coaching me a bit for SNG's I would perhaps be luckier with MTT coaching; since past month I have also been putting a lot of volume in MTT's, and there are definitely some leaks I gotta fix, which would be much easier with a mentor looking over my shoulder :))

Asaban, lessthanthree, please guys could you please consider my candidacy and I would appreciate very much if you give me your support here.

Thanks & best regards

Hello,
I would love to be coached from one of the coaches. I am playing 9man sngs turbo and normal. I play on Fulltilt 5$ stakes. I will eventually move up to 10s. It would be good to have my game checked by more experienced player from our community :).
Thank you for the great opportunity.
Merry chirstmas to everyone :)

Hello,
I offer a christmas coaching as well myself but I would also like to apply for Schnitzelfischs or ErikStenqvists offer. Yet I have set up my yearly goals for 2014 and with your help I would like to stick with them and crush my goals. I already implemented some of their advise. But with some other things I struggle to implement them and would like to get help with those things.

(I have Skype and could set up a Cam, playing NL100)

:spade: Game: 7$ and 15$ FR turbos STT on Stars.
I have around 2.5K games on 7$ with ROI of -0.5% and 1.8K games of 15$ with 3.8% ROI and a lot of place to improve

 Favourite coach: lessthanthree

:diamond: My poker history: Started playing poker a few years ago, on stars winning 50$ in beginners freerol and on tilt with PS free 50$ roll. Went almost broke on both... With just a few bucks left on tilt managed to get small roll plying NL rush and switched to sng's a few months before black Friday. Black Friday left me with 2$ on stars and free 7.7$ on poker770. So got recovering: fixed limit cash till I had 50BI's on both accounts and then Sng's. Got BR to play 20$ on poker770, but traffic got dry so moved to stars and now grind there up to 20 tables. Even though my roll allows me to play 30$, but don't feel like I am ready and cannot convince myself to buy HM2 full version :f_mad: (have only small stakes which I got with huge discount via PS).

:club: The reasons I should be chosen include but are not limited to:
I got what it takes to be a decent player: serious, disciplined, focused;
I am serious about my game and want to get my confidence up for med and high stakes;
I make the best of my time as I cannot spare much of my time for poker, after full time job;

:club: :spade:  :diamond: Ultimate poker goal: have my poker hourly $ 3x that I am currently making on my high-tech/high skilled job. _cool:

Coach :
I would like to apply for coaching from BrokeSoBroke as he is phenomenal!
I have read his blog and some of his students are doing fantastic.

Game :
I currently play Nl5 zoom and have been doing pretty well so far since reviewing my game and starting a blog, but feel i could really benefit from speaking to someone who knows the game inside and out to get rid of my big leaks. I will be moving up to NL10 soon and believe I can become an NL100 reg by the end of 2014

Why you should pick me :
- I have never been this determined to succeed since passing my driving test for car and motorbike, The other passion to poker haha.
- It will be a little time before I could afford coaching but with a little help i can go a long way.
- I am Scottish, 'Nuff said !

Since taking this game seriously, Here is my giraffe :

I'd like some NL10 zoom full ring coaching. I've had a winrate of 5 bb/100 over 26.6K hands and I'm pretty sure there's room for better.

Firstly Id like to thank PokerStrategy for offering such a fantastic service to its community, good job all and 'Merry Christmass ev-ery-one.' :f_love:

I have only been back into poker a month and I hope to go right back to the basics and reconstruct/correct how I approach the game.

Game Type&Limit: 6maxNL5 ZOOM
Currently winning at 6bb/100 (4bb/100 AIEV adjusted) but I know my game has huge leaks and I will have to improve substantially before even shooting @NL10

I have just managed to hit 30k hands and I am hoping this will be sufficient for a potential coach to assist me with a database review in the hope of building my understanding of why I am not winning enough from the CO relative to other positions.
Anyone looking to see my progress so far can do so in my blog linked in sig.

Pokertracker software is obviously pretty neat kit but I have to admit that I am drowning in the sheer amount of information available to me and struggle to get to the heart of what's important.
Any assistance with this would be a cracking Crimbo pressie :f_biggrin: )

Availability:
Got a full two weeks off work between the 21/12 and 5/1 and am available on Skype.

Coach:
I would consider myself very lucky to recieve any coaching in any format from anyone with more experience than myself (aka anyone) however, the only coach that I have any history with is BogdanPS who has marked several of my hand histories and will assist with my Beginners Course once I submit the next homework (if you're reading this - itsa comin' :f_grin: )

Thanks again,
MD
