Poker Stars $25.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2382161
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

preflop: I decided to just flat cause Villain overall 3bet is 2% in that sample. I don't believe though this number is accurate cause he is aggressive.

flop: I went for a small raise. The reasoning is cause Villain fires turn 100% (flop cbet:88, I expect him to cbet all his range in this board)in that sample, WTSD:17 + fold vs flop raise 1/1. What do you think?

BTN: $25.00 - VPIP: 23, PFR: 20, 3B: 11, AF: 2.5, Hands: 235
SB: $25.10 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 15, 3B: 1, AF: 1.5, Hands: 176
BB: $28.15 - VPIP: 25, PFR: 21, 3B: 6, AF: 12.0, Hands: 137
UTG: $10.00 - VPIP: 33, PFR: 20, 3B: 4, AF: 0.8, Hands: 134
MP: $31.09 - VPIP: 20, PFR: 14, 3B: 4, AF: 3.0, Hands: 109
Hero (CO): $33.15 - VPIP: 21, PFR: 19, 3B: 10, AF: 5.2, Hands: 146840

Pre Flop: ($0.35) Hero is CO with K :diamond: A :diamond:
2 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, 2 folds, BB raises to $2, Hero calls $1.25

Flop: ($4.10) 9 :diamond: Q :club: 7  (2 players)
BB bets $2.00, Hero raises to $4.50, BB raises to $7.75, Hero folds

Hi asimos

Preflop: The stats show 6% rather than the 2% you mentioned. But calling is fine, and so is 4-betting

Postflop: What sample is his fire turn 100% on? I would imagine it's not too large. Calling is usually still best in this spot and you have quite the backdoor equity and you can take it away later on.

Well the stats shows 6% but after had played this hand... during the game the number I was seeing in my hud was 2% (if I am not mistaken).

Now cbet turn was 2/2, but he has cbet flop:82 (11) and his
af by street is 7/12/8, so I think is reasonable to think he is hyper aggressive, isn't it?

So which sample would be safe in order to start raising the flop (if we should raise it at all) and what about sizing?

Preflop you can choose to 4b and get it in, this is fine CO vs BB. Also calling is a good option though.

flop: I went for a small raise. The reasoning is cause Villain fires turn 100% you have 137 hands, thats way too little for turn CB stat...

ALSO if you would be sure he would fire a 2nd barrel with his bluffs why not raise the turn instead? this way you get 2 streets of value vs his bluffs.

That said I really dont like your flopraise, you dont represent anything and turning your hand with decent equity into a bluff. (you have BDFD,BDSD and two overcards)

3 things you need to think about:

  • You won't make any better hands to fold, only small pocket pairs and vs those you can just call and bluff a lot of turns or rivers.
  • You won't make any worse hands to call, I think that OESD won't call your raise, they will either get it in or fold.
  • Vs his bluffs you already have the best hand so why not just call and realize your position?

A sample of 2 hands is nothing and making decisions based on that is a mistake imo.

The sample of 11 hands for flop cbet is not huge either but it's better than 2.

I wouldn't raise here with this hand. You waste your equity, position and rep close to nothing.
