Its just variance but quite funny when I saw the outcome as I was thinking about whether my 7 kicker was good enough in this spot since this random dude also raises preflop on Mp1 with T5o and stuff.. 90/30, yeah right.

Someone watched me over (Dutch SSS player) and we agreed that I will watch a session of him in the coming days. Not many things happened in the end, I was like carddead or position dead because I got KQ/AJ on Mp1/UTG for example which I have to fold ofcourse.

While I lost -15bb I got 6 sample hands in return plus a bunch of SPPs what can be converted into cash.
I think this should be 1 of the most boring days due the lack of cards I got dealt that were playable in those 700. I stick to 6 tables as I am definitly not happy with results by playing 8 or 7 so I stick to 6.

Looking forward to the weekends as I gotta Party & Date again, so who knows ♥ (Debbie & Michelle lol) Beer is cheap anyways

[x] CHANGE OF PLAN -> NL50 ATM

Not a great day for me (yesterday) since I had to control my emotions just before I even started... A girl cancelled a date on Friday because she was too busy and it kinda made went moody from there. The reason why is that I had asked her twice if she really could and she answered 'yeh I can cu on Friday etc.' Well NOT! An ugly E-mail saying 'I cant Gerv, too busy this, too busy that, Stress² and more jabroni crap'.
As I should not even started playing Poker, I infact did as it didnt stopped me from playing. I think I played slightly less but I didnt felt any emotions untill the very end of the session.

I made a calculation mistake with KTo, shoving it against a Limp/Reraiser thinking I am getting 2.5:1 to call but wrong! He showed me Aces and it was Bye-Bye Gerv. I wrote a little note on my monitor, its being sticked on the topleft of my screen saying 'NO ISO, 40% OOP,50%IP, Mixing it Up 20%'
Well I want to show my session result now:

For the coming working days, I will be playing on NL50, in the weekends I will be playing on NL100 because I just play so differently on NL100. Well actually I make too many funky moves what costs me money. I have a lot to learn as well and I am about to implement TOK in my Agenda. It is a hour of learning Theory of Poker (TOK stands for Theory of Knowledge) and it can be PS.com material or Power Hold'em strategy or other things. It has something to do with SSS and/or MTTs.

The reason why I switched to NL50 for the coming 7 days from Mo-Thu is due the fact that I have to be consistent in my plays again. I play very unstable and I think I will be -EV if I continue doing that. Although I am a person that thinks in a negative manner too fast, I think this is a good measure to prevent stupidity.

Oh I also lost a 36bb stack against a Huge WhaleFish who donks on a Turnboard of 3:c 4:c 8:c J:h. apparently I had A:dJ:s and I shoved it on the Turn (RRaise) and he showed me Q:c7:c, balls but it was justified that I made a mistake. After 30 minutes he had a 200bb stack. Then after 5 minutes he had nothing ♦ lol

To sum it up:
Sample hands are posted, mindset has changed, restrictions are applied and I only need a motivation boost to be a consistent player.

Keep your fingers crossed guys, going to play on NL50 now!

[x] Stagnating but +EV pushes on NL50

1 Step backward, 2 steps forward in the future, that was my main priority of Thursday. I had to inject some motivation in case I have to withstand more beats/strange plays on Nl100. So NL50 it was and with 2 hour mining beforehand, I knew pretty much everyone on the limit so I was ready to roll!

You can interpret this graph in Two ways:
Either One You see that I made a loss again
or
Two I was pretty about break-even.

Well the losses I made were pretty much +EV concerning Outs/Odds, if I keep continueing playing like this, I will increase my BR! The players on Nl50 is rather soft compared to Nl100. With soft I mean significantly soft! Many many tables have maniacs as if they do not know what to do with their money except spending it on stocks..

This day was all about putting the brakes on something that stops me from playing solid. Mentality is one of the utmost importance during SSS play regardless where you play. This session only lasted for 1 hour so I got to play like 400 hands. I was tired after it as well so continueing is no option.

Then I decided to hop by DeKuip's Dutch coaching for fun mostly, unfortunately they were like bullying me so I had to leave early lol ♦

today I will be checking out Xarry's new vid about Termi8r, didnt saw him for a long time but that could be me as well. Furthermore I am behind my scheme to become Ace before Party changes his VIP program. Being Ace and generate sort of 100 partypoints per day means you have a % rakeback :), 2500/4 = 625 = once per week a RB of $25. its not much but it is something.

Guess I only will use the points whenever I leave Party, Party's updating their software made it all look better in terms of CPU usage. No lags as far as I can remember.

I officialy announce that I am back on the NL100 tables as its Friday Fish night and I hope to catch some (and Salmons please, delicious :P)

Since my date of tonight is cancelled (read previous post) I have nothing to do but Poker so guess I will be doing that until an appropriate time to say goodnight + drinking beer.

Planning of Friday Night was that I would Poker 2 sessions and getting my BR up to where it was as solid as possible. However when I took a break in between the 2 sessions, a friend called me up asked if I joined up their drinking game (With booze). I couldnt denied it because Poker aint my profession {yet?} so I had some fun afterwards ♦

I overcame my goofy -EV plays so I have control of myself and thankfully I will play a lot better as a result! Maintaining a Max of 6 tables is a must since I lose value when I play more due my concentration. I cannot adapt to 7+ in an instant but also the tables on Party arent that all loose on Nl100.

As played, I played a mix of Nl50 / NL100 tables because the waiting lists were tremendous on both limits.

As I present to you my graph of today:

Could be better ofcourse but running with QQ against KK/AK is more or less standard. Losing a coinflip happens and running against higher PP happens as well. On the contrary, when you have Jacks and they have nines, you will often win as well.
I lost twice a buyin against a limp/caller with a PP who coldcalls me for setvalue *right..*

Well 1 out of 8 times, I lose 20bb in total and 7 out of 8 times I win his 5bb so my Net profit is +15BB so please keep on doing that ♦ Doesnt mean they wont fold to my cbet whenever they didnt hit their Trips so I can win more if they wont fold when I have TPTK for example.

I still didnt do any Isoraises so far as I had to resist myself sometimes from NOT doing it. I simply do not have the knowledge for it yet and I have other priorities first before this expansion.

I played an afternoon session already on Saturday the 8th but I was 27bb down there so I have to hit some bucks tonight. I expect to see some serious fishes on both limits and I have to take advantage of that. Opportunity is iniative = Power.

I really cannot think of something more to write about, if there is a suggestion - I would like to hear it as I think I come too short as in the amount I write here.

Regarding Software, I am still using the Old Elephant because I CBA to re-import all freaking hands again. thats like 750k+ 0_o, I think I will manage with mine right now
