That's solid performance :megusta:

The volume is of course not key here, you can get status upgrades at any pace that is comfortable to you :f_grin: I play even less.

First week in Get rich or die trying. Unfortunately I didn't have time to play at weekend other than some mobile app games, and I always play smaller stakes because possible disconnecting problems.

According playing history audit:
38 spin & go's
X amount of PLO10 zoom hands

According BR:
-2,59$

Current BR:
1 147, 64$

1st week of "Get rich or die tryin'"

I'm quitting Spin & Go's altogether mstarting next week, due to PS idiotic reforms. The problem with these games is too high variance (too big jackpots) and rake, so these geniuses increase variance and rake.

No one should play these games for any other reason than fun after upcoming update.

Bad week.

Not much results from Spin & Go's, +played satellites to Sunday Million that cost 30-40$. Got ticket, but out from the tourney 3000/7000, when 1000 best got money.

The play that got me out was standard flip. Had a 45bb stack an orbit or so before, flopped a set but decided to slow-play. Of cource board ran horribly, 4 card straight and had to fold based on action against fairly unknown opponent. Couple of more hands and it became obvious that this opponent was very aggressive, so when I opened later 20bb's deep from BTN I was snap-calling his 3bet, which he did with A5o and end of that story.

Someone (I cant remember who) used to say that when ppl have that million FPP-badge beside their name, you can pretty much count on them being solid players. Well, I had 5M FPP supernova-elite player in my table I tagged as aggro-fish :f_biggrin: He got knocked off couple of hands after me, after squeeze-shoving 45bb with KQo against early open / guy that dropped me flatting BTN (This time slow-playing aces. And even after these couple of hands god-mode and +150bb stack this dude didn't even get ITM  )

Results last week.
Omaha cash: 61 hands ( :f_thumbsup: volume) +32,57
Spin & Go's: 182 games: -127$
Other tourneys (incl. sunday-M): -46,4$
Mobile app-games: -35,17$
Cash out: 504,96$
Result last week: -176,31$

Started to ran horribly in Spin & go's, 'cos of cource you do when you cash out half your roll from the site, after they released the news about increased rake :f_mad: Last night I was about to cash out the rest ~500$, but decided to left it to play omaha cash, that is not infected with higher rake (yet, it will be FOR SURE later). Spin & go's are completely out from my repertoire now.

Edit. Wrong graph, fixed.

Omaha cash: 2587 hands -179,36$ (EV -100,58$)
Spin & Go's: 100 games: +24$
Other tourneys: +16,12$
Mobile app-games: +69,55$
Result last week: -69,69$

Couldn't stay away from Spin & Go's, they're just too full of incredible fishes. 8% ROI after running like shit whole month, that's not too bad. -7bin omaha session was horrible though. Get half stack in with aces pre, draw almost dead on flop usually, that's omaha variance for you.

Chip-EV-graph from this month Spin & Go's

BTW I play Star's 210 FPP Sunday Storm satellites to convert FPP's to money. In these games there is 20 players, and top-6 get 11$ storm ticket, usually very soft games.

However, after 1st October 23 games, only 2 cashes. 4830 FPP = 22$.

Holy shit, what a downhill :rage:

Yeah, ppl start withdrawing funds from Stars, Stars give depost-bonus, ppl deposit their money back :f_rolleyes:

Spin & Go's once again ran just horribly, thank god made some recovery after initial free fall.. (graph is this weeks 7$ spin&go's)

Decent week in omaha, only 2 sessions this week though.

Yeah, played Spin & Go's only on monday, no motivation at all when EV-graph keeps going up, result graph down. Other problem is that all the little good run I get goes "wasted" on small games, haven't won bigger than 4x's in two weeks, not a single 10x whole month. When you run bad in both chip-EV and prize-pools, you're gonna go dowwwwn :f_cry:

Sick life, ran good (+10bin over EV) this (last) week :f_thumbsup:

On the other hand, tournament-sunday was bs as usual. Sick megafields, one time :f_drink:

Good ~2500 omaha hands week this week.

I like how the red line is also in profit, though got bit sloppy in this last Sunday session (also, such players that you don't really want to bluff them and give pressure since they will call you anyways :f_ugly: )

Also, after couple of winning weeks the get rich or die trying -campaign is only -20$ or so in the red, after initial big downswing with Spin and Go's, feels good :f_grin:

Usually my red line has been a sinking ship, maybe I've changed my game bit more aggressive / +good card run lately of course. Probably games at your stakes are also little bit harder to beat/bossy the table than down here PLO25/50 Mr Coach

Yeah, played Zoom-NLHE last week since there was this Zoom & Boom -campaign, didn't go well :f_biggrin: Unbelievable nit-fest that NLHE-zoom, I dropped my eyes couple of times when value-betting something just to see villain only calling with 2nd nuts, villain wanting to pot control 20bb pot with nut-flush when board get's paired (yeah, had quads there :f_rolleyes: ) etc. Not my game :fouet:

do you know whether the EV line is correctly calculated for spinngos?

might be kind of complicated

Hmm? Are you referring my graphs in this blog? If so, they're accurate since they're chip-EV-graphs, not expected $$$$-winnings-EV graphs.

HM2 has also $EV -statistic for tournaments, I don't think that statistic is any good.

All right, opted in this new campaign too, Goal-Getter: Prove yourself and get rewarded. It would require me to update this blog 3 times a week, don't know about that, but we'll see..

First update this week is for Get Rich or Die Tryin' as usual, I'll make those 3 goals for new campaign later, if I remember :f_grin:

Omaha cash : 5424 hands 149,75$ (EV -175,86$)
MTT's : 2 tourneys 7,9$
Spin & Go's : 37 games 39$
Mobile app-games : 8,1$
Rakeback + 10$ Stellar = 33$ + 10$ = 43 $
Result this week: 247,75$
Staking : 13,25$

Nice, everything in profit this week :f_thumbsup: Except the EV in omaha of course :f_biggrin: Played really bad this week, not focusing enough and tilting, but managed to win huge percent of the big flips, which is why the result is so much above EV (+6,5 bin's). Maybe I'll do an update of interesting hands later too, if I can find any.

Overall

25 759 Omaha hands
6 219 NLHE zoom hands
= 31 978 Cash game hands

573 Spin & Go's
22 MTT's
=595 Sng / MTT

Profit = +996,62 $
Cash-outs = -172,08 $
Staking = -30,61 $

2nd update this week

It seems that I won gold-status from GRoDT-campaign, yay! This is really good news, now I can watch some Skod's new videos that are for gold-level :f_biggrin: Getting silver-status requires for me 1-1,5 h grind in Coral Poker, but I really hate their software and how hard it is to get a good omaha game running there, so 5x that for Gold, argh :f_mad: Last time I needed Gold for coaching, I actually rather just bought it from the store.

But about those goals for new campaign:

1. Poker goal.
*This will be volume goal. My volume earlier this campaign seems to have been around 2k-2,5k omaha hands per week, so lets go with 3k hands per week during campaign period 12 Jan - 28 Feb. Also, no Zoom included in this, only normal table games count. I allow myself one week less than 3k hands, if I can make it up next week during this period.

2. Exercising goal.
*During this autumn I've been going to gym, since there really isn't anything else to do. Haven't really been able to ski or play hockey, another day it's -10C and everything looks good, next day it's +5C and snow/ice is melting away. Winter's in Finnish capital area are unfortunately joke these days, last year I think I played once hockey, this year so far none.

But the goal will be 30 times in gym during 12th Jan - 28th Feb, that will be 30 days of exercising and 18 rest. I was in gym on Monday and yesterday, so I'll have a nice head start on this one :f_thumbsup:

3. Studying goal.
*Will be the hardest one for me, my studies have really been stalling.. The goal will be to do those works and/or join courses required for my degree to complete. If I'll have to join an internet course I wont have my degree by 28th Feb, but if everything else is OK and I'm enrolled to get rest from an Internet course, I consider this goal to be completed.

Let's go!

Ok, third update of this week. It's been a bad week, but we'll see about results in next update. Got to grind ~500 hands still this evening to achieve my weekly goal :f_drink:

Couple of hands from this week:

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 4 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $131.34 (262.7 bb)
Hero (BB): $94.98 (190 bb)
CO: $138.26 (276.5 bb)
BTN: $86.84 (173.7 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q K K J
2 folds, SB raises to $1.50, Hero raises to $4.50, SB raises to $9, Hero calls $4.50

Flop: ($18) K 5 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7, SB calls $7

Turn: ($32) J (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $17.50, SB calls $17.50

River: ($67) Q (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $27.50, SB calls $27.50

Spoiler

Results: $122 pot ($1.50 rake)
Final Board: K 5 5 J Q
SB mucked T 9 A A and lost (-$61 net)
Hero showed Q K K J and won $120.50 ($59.50 net)

Opponent is whale, but passive type of whale. It's about bet-sizings, when I played the hand I tried to make betsizings such that he wont fold his aces, but reviewing this hand I think I just missed value. He is not going to fold his aces on flop, probably not on the turn either, so why not make it bigger. OTR there is about PSB left, and backdoor flush completes. This time I think this betsizing OTR worked best (he had backdoor straight), but overall I think a) there should be less left OTR b) shove the river, he shouldn't be calling without flush, which on the other hand I think this type of player won't fold. Live and learn :f_o:

Poker Stars, $0.25/$0.50 Pot Limit Omaha Cash, 6 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

Hero (SB): $50.69 (101.4 bb)
BB: $110.87 (221.7 bb)
UTG: $19.32 (38.6 bb)
MP: $36.97 (73.9 bb)
CO: $63.61 (127.2 bb)
BTN: $47.25 (94.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with A 7 A 6
UTG folds, MP calls $0.50, CO raises to $2.25, BTN calls $2.25, Hero raises to $10, BB calls $9.50, MP folds, CO calls $7.75, BTN folds

Flop: ($32.75) 3 5 K (3 players)
Hero bets $31.28, BB raises to $62.56, CO folds, Hero calls $9.41 and is all-in

Turn: ($114.13) 8 (2 players, 1 is all-in)
River: ($114.13) 2 (2 players, 1 is all-in)

Spoiler

Results: $114.13 pot ($2.50 rake)
Final Board: 3 5 K 8 2
Hero showed A 7 A 6 and lost (-$50.69 net)
BB showed 5 3 7 4 and won $111.63 ($60.94 net)
CO mucked and lost (-$10 net)

One of those hands, that tilts my game of balance usually :f_mad: Quite standard, good aces, chance to squeeze big, flop OP+gutshot relatively safe board 3 way, villain has two pair and it's 35/65 flip. But what makes me tilt is his preflop cold-call to squeeze 3-bet, with low dominated doublesuited rundown (gap at top) to a most probably 4/5 way flop :f_rolleyes: Really don't know why it feels so tilting when players like him win though, he most definitely is a player I want to play against after all :sorry:

At the start of next week I gotta do more throughout hand-reviewing session.
