Hey, thanks adasko.

Will try to update it as regularly as I can. Was thinking to make weekly BB graph updates, but I'm not sure if I want to look at graphs every week.
Well that's not true... I am very sure I don't want to do that, but I might for blog's sake :) For example, I had an awful day yesterday, so there's zero desire to click on graph tab

Once I start bankroll challenge (probably next week), I'll post results of course.

Meh...

I thought that I could start with my project today already, but I was still waiting for my new PC to arrive - or better to say, components for it. It needed 5 days for 20km of shipping (weekend), while I ordered some stuff from UK and got them in 5 days too. Annoying.

So now I have to start building it and installing software and stuff. Even though this is fun sometimes, I'm not really looking forward. I mean, until I get a confirmation that everything is working, I'll be nervous :)

In other news... We got a new family member. My GF got a kitten for her birthday. 4 months old orange lazy blob. No name for now, but Garfield seems really appropriate here :P

Let's hope that my next update will be from my new set up.

My computer is finally ready. All essential software is installed, so I am good to go now. Expecting to play today already :)
But now I really need to tests its limit. I was thinking... PokerStars, HM, HUD, TableScan, StarsHelper, Firefox, OBS for streaming and something to record my streams.

The only missing puzzle for now is my new mic, which should be delivered tomorrow. And I think I need a new monitor (third one?) as well

I can also post my Week 4 graph.
Considering that I had 36% WTS, I did fairly well I think

As I've promised few times before, I'm starting with my Fixed Limit Hold'em Bankroll Challenge! The idea here is to play FL micro stakes with kinda aggressive BRM and try to run it up from $20 to $1000. But the biggest catch here is that I’m going to livestream most of my sessions on Twitch.tv and I’m also going to opt-in for Get Rich or Die Tryin’ promo here on PokerStrategy. Let’s hope we can get some FL Hold’em Hype going on :)

Was playing around with numbers and came up with BRM looking like that.

  • $20 -> $0,05/$0,10
  • $40 -> $0,10/$0,20
  • $100 -> $0,25/$0,50
  • $250 -> $0,50/$1,00
  • $600 -> $1/$2

Like I said, it’s aggressive and that’s obviously the whole point as I want to progress through limits as fast as possible. Let’s just hope I don’t catch a huge downswing or else I might get in trouble I might even do a few BBs shots before I actually hit the BRM requirements. E.g. Shot at 1/2 with $500. What do you guys think?

Here’s my Twitch link: http://www.twitch.tv/coreysteel111
If I won’t forget, I’ll also record my sessions and put them on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/MrCoreySteel

Even with aggressive BRM like that, it’s still a long way from $20 to $1000 so I obviously don’t expect to do this overnight. I’ll probably play few times per week, hopefully more. Will see how it goes at my regular tables :)

Hey Laz, will do :) Thanks.

Day 1 of Bankroll Challenge
Yesterday I had my first day of BR Challenge and it went pretty great :)
I've played 569 hands and showed $5,36 in profit at 5c/10c. That means that I ran about 9BB/100 which is probably not sustainable... Probably :P

Today I'm doing my Day 2, starting with $25,36 bankroll. See ya at livestream!
If you have missed yesterday's action, here are YouTube videos.

2 - 3BB/100 is sustainable.. higher i think is borderline impossible. im rocking 2.5BB/100 at 5/Tc due to my sad 2 month downswing :(

remember to tell me on skype when you start to stream

Day 2 of Bankroll Challenge

I was livestreaming again yesterday. I knew that it won't go as smooth as in my first day of the challenge, but I was at least hoping for a winning day and I got it at the end! :) I started with BR of $25,36 and managed to win $2,55 at the tables, which means my BR is at $27,91 now.

Graph for Day 2:

My next livestream will be on Thursday (tomorrow) at around 12:00 CET.
If you missed yesterdays session, you can scroll through these videos :)

Day 3 of Bankroll Challenge
Super quick update. Got first negative day in Day 3 already. I guess we ran too good in the first two days. :P
My next livestream will be either on Saturday or Sunday.

Start of Day 3 BR: $27,91
Profit: -$1,10
End of Day 3 BR: $26,81

And here's first part of this session:

Two updates today.
First is a daily BR Challenge update and second one is my weekly regular. So let's get to it :)

Day 4 of Bankroll Challenge
Struggled the whole livestream, but in the end I saw a profit! It was only for $1,09, but I kinda ran bad the whole day so I'm pleased with the end result. I actually have no idea how I even made a profit, if I take into the account my WTSD and W$SD stats, which were 41/46 iirc. Chat on Twitch was also quite active, so pretty nice day after all.

Start of Day 4 BR: $26,81
Profit: $1,09
End of Day 3 BR: $27,90

Tomorrow (Monday) I'm doing my 1st week of Get Rich or Die Tryin' report, so for now this will do. Here's also a Day 4 graph and Part 1 of Day 4 video. My next livestream is tomorrow at 12-ish CET.

Week 6 Regular Stakes
I know that if I do both of these updates it might get a bit confusing, but just bare with me. I'll figure out a better way to do this :)
So I expected a dreadful results when peeking at my weekly graph here... Knowing that I had several days where I hit my stop-loss limits, but at the end... It's not that bad actually :) I mean, being down 150BB in a week and having ~0,7BB/100 winrate is nothing to sneeze at, but it could be worse lol.

The thing that bothers me is that I only earned about 740 VPP per day, which is just not enough. My goal is to hit 300k VPP this year, so that means I need to average about 1000 VPP per day, because I already missed like 18 days of play in 2015. I just wasn't organized enough and need to work on that. My goals for Week 7 are: 32 hours of play + 3 livestreams and 5754 VPPs . That's actually not enough, but I have a busy week next week, so I'd be happy with these.

Week 1 of Bankroll Challenge

Well if you guys followed my posts here you probably already know how I did this week in my BR challenge, but we need to do an official Get Rich or Die Tryin' report and here it is :f_love:

I started my BR challenge with $20, played 4 sessions and livestreamed them all on Twitch.
Together I played 2978 hands, collected 50,08 VPPs and made $7,90 in profit. The thing that surprised me is how many VPPs I collected during this time. You can actually hit SilverStar VIP status on PokerStars playing 5c/10c games. I was afraid that I won't be able to hit any bonuses playing these small limits, but that's actually not the case here. I mean it's still a long way to go, but they are actually reachable :)
BTW, I move up to 10c/20c when I hit $40 BR.

Week 1
Hands: 2978
Starting BR: $20
Week 1 BR: $27,90 (+39,5%)
Profit: $7,90
