Day 25 of Bankroll Challenge
As I announced it days ago, I played in MicroMillions-087 $3.30 FL Hold'em [Turbo, 6-Max] event and it went pretty poorly. I'm not even sure if I won any hands now that I think back. I mean, I surely have, but it still didn't help me much as I was knocked out after 45 minutes of play. When stakes were around 160/320 I only had 1500 chips left and I got KK in middle position. Hand got capped preflop, 4 players on the flop and of course there was an Ace there as well. I invested so much into this hand already that I couldn't really fold, so I went all-in on the turn for a miracle, which didn't happen
Quite hard to play hands like that. No Limit is definitely easier in spots like this.
Fortunately I did OK at the cash game tables. It was an OK day, nothing spectacular happened. Bankroll is again above $100, which is obv good news. And we are also really really close to the first Stellar Award bonus. Should happen next livestream, which will be on Monday. Here's my plan for the next week:

So let's talk a bit about TV series. I really enjoy watching them, currently I'm probably following more than 10 of them. Pretty sure it's more, but let's say 10
And the one that I'm enjoying the most at the moment is Better Call Saul. It's a spin-off of Breaking Bad. Saul Goodman, attorney at law from BB got his own TV show and it's well deserved. He was my favourite character in Breaking Bad anyway ![]()

BCS is a perfect mix of drama and comedy. Even though Saul (Jimmy when he was younger) it's kinda goofy, which you probably know if you watched Breaking Bad, this TV series is definitely not goofy at all. But what I like the most is that I can discuss episodes and everything around Better Call Saul with fellow fans on the forums. People find all sorts of stuff in episodes, some post camera compositions etc... Awesome!
I mean it's really hard to discuss episodes if you are watching The Big Bang Theory for example, nothing to talk about it really
And there are also some series that *I* don't want to discuss about (Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead).

And also few words about Community. It was one of my favourite TV shows. Emphasis on was. Community was created by Dan Harmon and I was following him since Channel 101 and I really liked his humour and most of the stuff he did. Same with this show. But man... 6th season now and unfortunately... This shit is unwatchable. And I'm really sad about that. Community was canceled after Season 5 which wasn't the best anyway, but after that it got picked up by Yahoo. I can't really say more about it... It's poop.
I'd stop watching it, if it weren't for Alison Brie
(Annie in the show)

Week 8 of Bankroll Challenge

It is time for weekly update. Week 8 has passed, I played three sessions this week (again) and it was pretty exciting. On Monday I recorded my best session ever in this challenge (+$38,31) and I've also moved up to a new limit (25c/50c). On Wednesday I recorded my worst session ever (-$37,23), fell under $100 again. But made a comeback on Saturday, with the 2nd best session (+$14,93) ![]()
So yeah... New limit, a bit better players, a bit higher variance, so things like these are expected. Currently I'm sitting at $100,98 bankroll and will make my first shot at 0,50/1,00 with $200 bankroll. Could be pretty quick, could take a while. No need to rush things, going step-by-step in this challenge. I've also collected more than 700 VPPs already and the first Stellar Award is at 750 VPP, which is $10 for 1 FPP. So almost 10% BR increase with 1 bonus. And that's not all... At 1000 FPP I could also buy another bonus from the store, another $10. But I might wait for $25 bonus for 2250 FPPs. What do you guys think, what's worth more at this point?
Week 8
Hands: 2408
Week 7 BR: $88,27
Cash game Profit: $16,01
Tournament Profit: -$3,30
Total: $12,71
Week 8 BR: $100,98 (+14%)

Overall graph

($74,62 cash game, $5 rakeback, $1,36 tournaments)

What do you guys think, what's worth more at this point?
Since you aren't in a rush I think its better to keep them until you get the best exchange rate.
We were talking about this during livestream and we kinda agreed that I should get these bonuses as soon as possible.
I actually am in rush. I'm doing a bankroll challenge and my goal is to hit $1000 as fast as possible
So cashing in $10 bonus in this case and trying to move up to 0,50/1,00 should be +EV for me, even though I miss few $ of value by buying $10 bonus instead of $25 one. But if I move one day earlier to a new limit, I'm gonna make up for it.
to hit $1000 as fast as possible
I think it is rather a matter of how good you run, and if you are 10$-s from reaching the point of moving up and want to play a stake higher you can still exchange your FPP-s then. But when you run bad and buy that 10$ and lose it or even have to move down a stake lower, you'll only waste your FPP-s with the exchange. So I'd do it in a JIT way, but it's your decision anyway.
Without exchanging fpps, you could take a shot at the .50/1 for the # of BBs you had in mind. If you win, you can wait with the exchange since you no longer need the 10$ in your bankroll. If you hit your stop/loss you go ahead and exchange them, since now you do need them to keep playing .25/.50
Hope this makes sence

Yeah that's a good point. No reason to exchange it right away, even though it would look REALLY nice on my graph ♦ I mean... I'm also losing "only" $2,5 in value this way anyway, but still... We should be aiming towards the best value the whole time

It makes sense, yes. It's basically a compromise between what I was trying to do and what kavboj is saying. The "problem" here is, if I do a shot on 50c/1 with 200BB, there's a very high chance that I'll have to move down to 25c/50c. So I'll lose $2,5 in value in quite a high % of the time.So let's do an update...
Day 26 of Bankroll Challenge
How about running hotter than sun? This is how I felt in my last session and obv I do not mind that at allOn top of that I also cashed in $10 Stellar award for 1FPP and here's the result...
Start of Day 26 BR: $100,98
Profit: $40,25
Rakeback: $10
End of Day 26 BR: $151,23I haven't decided for how many BBs, but I'm making my first shot at 0,5/1,00 with $200 bankroll and we are basically halfway till there already lol. I wish I was running this good at my regular limits
My next livestream will be tomorrow (Wednesday), starting at 11:30 CET. So half an hour earlier so I can try getting in as many hands as possible this way.

Day 27 of Bankroll Challenge
I gave out 5 tickets for the Team Pro Online Depositors Freeroll yesterday and that was the highlight of the day really
I mean... Not entirely true. Table dynamics was quite interesting, which is seen from the graph also. Day by day I discover how tight people are playing at these limits. To be honest, I expected totally different games when I started doing this challenge.
Currently we are sitting at 1031 FPPs and I resisted temptation of buying $10 bonus from the store
Even without the bonus, we are doing really great. After my next livestream, I will check how good am I actually running in terms of BB/100. Which will be on Saturday at 15:00 CET. I'll make another reminder in FL Hold’em Livestreams thread tomorrow ![]()

Day 28 of Bankroll Challenge
Running like god much? I opened my day with "I need +80BB ($42) session to move up to the next limit." I said "It's not impossible, just improbable." After like an hour I was up already more than $30 so I needed about $10 to have big enough of a roll to make a shot at 0,50/1. And at that point it hit me... Hmm... I still have $10 cash bonus left from 1000 FPPs. I could use those $10 to boost my BR to $200!!! :f_p::f_p:
So I made a decision. If after the break (after 2 hours of play), I am up at least $32, I will use my bonus and move up to higher limit. But there was no need for bonus, because I made $42 profit on the tables itself lol. And so I made a shot and it went great. Incredible would be a better word actually.
So let me just post the stats and graph. You'll have to wait one more day for overall graph... Will post it tomorrow when I make weekly update
Oh and here's my livestreaming plan for next week:

I added you to twitter! Talk 2 u later! Hope you enjoyed your weekend!
Week 9 of Bankroll Challenge

Time goes by really fast. Can't believe I'm doing these livestreams for 9 weeks already. 28 sessions of Limit Hold'em Bankroll Challenge + some other random streams in this time period. Three streams in past week and it was the best week by far. Started with $100,98 and ended up with $243,84, increasing my bankroll by 140%. Pretty sure this is going to be the best result this week in Get Rich or Die Tryin' promo. At least for a cash game player and in only 2773 hands that is.
I also had a look at my overall graph and overall stats. Altogether I've played 22888 hands and I have 3,05BB/100 winrate! For all of you NL players, that's 6,10bb/100
This kinda winrate is solid for NL, let alone for FL. Pretty sure it's unsustainable, but hey... I'm going to enjoy the ride until it lasts.
I promised you guys overall graph and I'm gonna deliver. But let's do the numbers first.
Week 9
Hands: 2773
Week 8 BR: $100,98

Day 29 of Bankroll Challenge
We got Royal Flush during the livestream! Nothing else matters here. Did we lose or win? Who cares, we hit Royal Flush. Did we played good or bad? Royal. Flush. Should we move down, if we lo... ROYAL FLUSH ![]()
Here's a video
And stats from yesterday (yes yes, I know, it was a losing session :f_p:)
Start of Day 29 BR: $243,84
Profit: $-37,22
End of Day 29 BR: $206,62
In all seriousness... We stayed in a range where we can still make a shot at 0,5/1. We are obv not cleared yet. Not a regular at this limits. Still a newbie here, who is just poking at 0,5/1, playing a bit money scared, trying to catch a good side of a variance. If we do not succeed, we are moving down at $175, so that means we have a 30BB shot.
I forgot to save a graph, but you can see it in the 4th part of Day 29 videos.
Here's part 1 though...
Part 1 of Day 29 videos
Day 30 tomorrow (Wednesday) 11:30 CET. Could be quite a ride now that we only have 30BB left for a shot to this limit ![]()
