My observations are that, when players like this one 3bets you and don't push directly, they always show up with good hand. I would start to open 2bb at this table.

Your hand is not the best candidate to 4bet here and the sizing really really sucks. A default sizing would be at least $1.25.

Against a 30bb stack, just 3bet all in. Especially with villain having those stats.

Yeah, villain is a shortie so if you decide to play further, you just push.

FYP and +1.

It makes not to much sense to click it back against him.
Than it looks like your playing a tight range like QQ+ or so.

Best regards,

This.
Also, I'm not a fan of min-raising from btn vs players who 3Bet a lot. They just get better odds, and can now 3Bet even wider. Rather, why not keep your std raise size, and tighten up somewhat?

Cheers,

Cheers,

This is exactly the opposite of how it should be, you should be minraising a ton vs agro3bettors because the SPR would be larger postflop and you would defend a lot wider than usual absolutely destroying them equity wise.

My BU Open-raise range is officially around 60%, but it goes up and down depending on who is in the blinds. I steal overall 40% + but again, a lot depends on who is in the blinds.

I have been open-raising 3x almost always. Because I open so wide, I fold to 3Bet about 60% or perhaps more (just a guess -- I didn't open my database to check)
vs people with high (> 10) 3Bet stats, I just 4Bet a wider

So if I adjust as you suggest, would I then widen my calling range and fold to 3Bet less vs them, or flat instead of 4Bet?

Can you suggest any strategy articles or videos that discuss how to play in three-bet pots when the open-raiser just min-raised?

Oh -- and in the blinds I just love 3Betting BU min-raisers.

Note that I am playing micros -- it is probably all different and NL 25 and up.

Cheers,
VS
