Results this month so far for all cash games. This includes 2NL 6 Max, 2NL Full Ring, 2PLO, 2PLO Z.

So I played a bit of full ring (1000 hands) just over an hour and a half or so.
This was an interesting hand/bluff:

Peaked really well, was smooth sailing. Finished playing PLO2 zoom and lost few Top set v Flush draw against 100bb stacks. 65/35 spots which didn't go my way so put a dent in my earnings today.

Beating Cash Games at 35bb/100 hands this month over 11k hands

Poker - Hand Review
This hand was good for me, the only issue was how to get value from original limper. He was a poor player and my flop raise felt too strong for anything but a full house to call. What do you think?

PLO 6 max zoom or regular, it depends if I can be bothered to table select. I have a greater return on regular tables and I am regularly marking fish but the volume I can play at zoom is hard to ignore. Definitely PLO currently but my NLH volume is very low. I would say 6 max NLH is my weakest game, oh and MTT's but I am running way under Chip EV for tourneys this month (good just they're nothing compared to my bankroll)

Decided to watch some of Tim64's Spin n Go videos, working on shove/calling ranges against such passive opponents at the $1 spins. Generally calling very tight against such passive players as aggression is always a worry.

I don't have a plan as I cannot play any smaller limits. I did consider playing $0.50 STT Turbo's but I think they're a bit of a grind and very straight forward push or fold which I like but currently I love the play in PLO.

At PLO2 however, I do not feel like people are pushing small edges and going all in on a flip on the flop etc and there are plenty of players I can exploit. Playing this way postflop will ensure that I am always a greater favourite to win therefore lowering the variance. For example, in the SB some people with AAxx may 3bet to GII, I will balance out and flat to set mine and get it in on a safe turn against people I know are fish. This way my play is balanced with AAxx hands and allows me to 3bet others.

Against regs I will just have to hope I run miles above EV haha.

Had a good start to the day in the spins, hit 1 or 2 4x multipliers and had some run good in them. Later in the session not so lucky, missed out in two of them with two flips.. hey well. I'll get the wins soon. Was running under EV a little but its only a small sample.

General Ramblings
Exams
So I had Core 4 Maths today, it could've gone better. I was proud of myself on one question which I had been struggling with previous to the exam. Recognising trig identities when integrating was a major fault in my work and it always stopped me short of full marks, without recognising these identities I would only get 3/9 marks on a question for example. Today in the exam when it mattered I got the answer, 9/9 for sure! So that was good.

Soon I have Physics, well Thursday morning. I haven't revised for it yet besides a little tonight. Hopefully it will go well and then I am off to the Lake District for a week on Friday to meet up with some friends who have been off at Uni while I was stuck at college.

Cannot wait!

Considering a Live Poker Session
I really do like Live Poker but I think because I cannot sustainably afford it then I tend to get much more emotinally attached to winnings and losses, it does not affect my game but if I lose a flip, particularly cash game play when fish are right in front of you and I tend to want to berate them, Hellmuth style but thats just unfair.

If I do it will be on Thursday, my local casino plays £0.25/0.25 but it is at 10% rake which is rediculous, but the game is great and the rake is definitely beatable. Last time I played I was up to £110 from £25 and cashed out £90 in a couple hours. Its a sweet game and I like the table talk.

This is so true, I think when I started I hugely over rated QQxx and JJxx, after a few hands you come to realise that these just aren't anywhere near as strong as Hold'em and once you stop 3betting these relentlessly out of position you save a lot of money and attack weaker players. I mean, folding to a pot size 3-bet in omaha is often a mistake as equity is that close. It is of course different with SPR and such but nearly every hand is 50/50 preflop, such a good post flop game.

Spinning it up
Bankroll: $73.14

Played a few more spins, got a couple 3x multipliers then a few coolers. Really do like these spins, and the lack of aggression is unbelievable. It does mean a lot of limp stabbing when evenly stacked heads up as one wrong sway of the cards and your gone but limp stabbing has a lot of success. Even 3 barrels of 1/3rd pot working well.

Hope that there is a cap at that 10% rake charge.
Btw very nice cottage and amazing place to ride it with the bike
