After the first deposit bonus at PokerStars expired, decided to move to iPoker and play with the rakeback. Since there is no traffic at NL10 at all and I have enough bankroll for NL20 (more than 40 buy-ins), decided to play NL20 and see what will happen. If I fall below 40 buy-ins, will probably move back to Stars.

The first day was very very bad. As usuall when I move up limits, I had a "great welcome" and lost €70 (3,5 buy-ins). There were two unlucky hands, though, which, if I had more luck, should turn the things arround:

So, overall, 3,5 buy-ins is not that much, but in terms of money it looks huge when the limit is higher. I had some really bad mistakes, but I need to focus better to avoid those. I could probably save at least a buy-in there and with the better luck, the result could be better.

It's probably too early to look at stats with just 1,2k hands, but UO PFR% from the BTN was just 42% (I had 55% at NL16) and I could cbet flops a bit more than 59%. Then I should cold call on the BB more than 14% and I should fold to flop cbets less than 23,6% (raise flop cbets more than 11,1%). The red line is terrible. I need to work hard on the postflop play, so I will burn my computer with the "Red Line Rampage" series during summer holydays.

I'm satisfied with this week, considering that I moved from PokerStars NL16 to iPoker NL20 and didn't go bust yet. ;) For now I'm playing break even EV-wise, but hope this will change (to better, of course). :) This week I used my NetBet points to buy tickets for some Sit&Goes, where I had a decent success, which was great. I lost alot of money when withdraw from PokerStars USD account to Neteller EUR account, which you can read here. I would even be in small profit for this week without this loss, but life goes on. I will have much more time for poker from now on, since summer holydays started. The plan for the summer is mastering all "Red Line Rampage" lessions with the help of videos of coachings I had with w34z3l, then to review all "w34z3l's Walktrough" videos and "10 tips to get out of the micros" videos.

So, what's up, guys? Does someone still follow this blog, I wonder. :f_rolleyes:

The last couple of weeks were very significant for my life. Since I lost one of the closest member of my family, my grandmother, I had to (and still have to) get used to live without someone who was always there, since I remember, someone who watched over me since I was baby. Unfortunatelly, as it goes in life, we started to be fully aware of someone's importance only when we lost him. It's not I didn't have a good relationship with her, but now I wish I could give her much more of my attention and love and that I could tell her how much she ment to me. She was the first close person that I've lost. It's hard to except that some day we have to lose our mother, father... It's hard to except that we all have to leave some day.

I am even more sad becase that day when she's gone, I planned to propose my girlfriend. I'm sad because she didn't live long enough to see that. I wish I could do it earlier... A month after me and the girlfriend went to a seaside for a week, to isolate from everything for a bit and rest. One day we were in Zadar, walking on Sea organ, which are unic architectural object in the world, a large musical instrument played by the wind and the sea. So I decided to do it there, and she said yes. :f_love: Here are some pictures of us:

Because of all the things that were happening, I didn't pay much attention to poker, so I didn't play even near as I was planning before the summer. I started to seriously concentrate on poker just a couple of days ago. I'm happy because I'm still managing to survive NL20 and I'm pretty confident that I can beat it soon. For now, I'm break even (but quite below my EV line) and profit only from the rakeback, which is actually not that bad at all. As learning is concerned, I decided to make it as simple as possible, so I'm only (but constantly) rereading my notes of the "w34z3l's Walkthrough" series and the "Red Line Rampage" series and I plan to watch and analyse 4 videos more which left me of this series. I'm also rereading the notes I've made based on my coachings with w34z3l. In a month or so, I plan to concentrate on a double2's series "10 Tips to Get Out of the Micros", because I watched only 4 or 5 first videos of it. I also started to be active again at hand evaluation forums, which I found as one of the crucial parts to improve. I also have a couple of coaching sessions with w34z3l left.

So, all looking fine atm and I hope it will stay like that. I believe I have alot of NL20 hands in front of me before moving to NL50, which is my ultimate goal. Unfortunatelly, I don't think I will reach this goal this year, but who knows. Maybe there is still enough time. Hope you are all doing fine and see you around! :f_drink:

Too bad some hands didn't end up like I would wish. I especially regret for those two (and especially the first one, what a pot): :f_rolleyes:

Yeah, I hope she wont check/fold the river. :f_cool:

I recently read about the Hunza population of 87000 people living in Pakistan. They live very healthy life and the average age is 100. It's not uncommon for them to live 120 years and some of them managed to live 160 years. Then I read the comments bellow and one guy said: "If I would have to stand my wife untill 120 years, I would rather kill myself right now!".
