What range do you give BB after the minraise?

I would say there is a lot of draws and some Kx hands. Ofc 78,77 and 88 are there too. I think sets should raise bigger? Or do you think his range is 2pari+ only? Maybe shove is not the best option here but I think we should at least call and re-evaluate OTT.

Ok, here's how bad players play in this spot from my experience (nl2, he minraised, he's not good):

- Draws will just call. Some people are aggressive and raise their draws but it is always a big sizing (sometimes too big).
- Top pairs will mostly call because it's multiway and there's another caller. If he's the type of fish that thinks TP is the nuts - bigger raise. This works only for multiway, heads up some players raise small with top pairs. Very rarely can you see KQ here.
- Two pairs are possible but in general they tend to raise bigger.
- Sets play like this. In general bad players like to minraise the nuts. I agree with you that he should raise bigger with a set but he should raise bigger with anything here. When you see this sizing, the shoulds go out of the window.

I find the flop issue super-easy. Either the BB has us beat or he has us not. In either case moving in (or raising) is a loser. Folding is senseless with overpair and backdoor nut flush draw.

The BB played the hand very well by the way, and got the most of it because he was misread. He was definitely not the fish this hand.

No he wasn't. It's a reg at the tables. I think he would have done the same, so I'm not so sad about the hand.

I am not folding this flop. We have an overpair, we have a BDFD. Calling seems right.
