Straight on a monotone board MW

SB donks on the flop: potsize minus 1c. He has given it some thought.
BB calls. He isn't worried about the board texture.
H calls.

Now this is interesting. H has hit his straight. Is it the nuts? If not, can H's hand improve on future streets to the absolute nuts? H has no outs to a flush, he has no outs to a full house. So this hand is the best he can get. Is calling getting the most value out of this hand?
If H has the nuts on the flop, could the villains improve on turn and river to a better hand than H's? In other words does Hero have to protect his hand? Does calling here give H the best protection?

SBs pot size donk looks like a made hand which needs protection. His range is wide, he calls a lot of steals so 2pair, sets, pairs with one spade are in his range. It is difficult to say what BB has. Would he 3bet so small with AJ vs 2 opponents? I think his 3bet size screams "call me". Based on this I believe I'm most of the time ahead. I decided to call flop but I really would have to protect my hand. I think I was too scared to shove OTF but I had already made up my mind. When turn doesnt bring 4th spade and SB bets again, there was a voice inside my head telling me " he doesnt have it". I dont know where that intuition came from and now I'm trying to explain to myself why did I do what I did. I would like you to tell me if there is some problems in my thinking and if you would have played it differently.

Yes, you are right it is not wide. I don't know why I wrote that. Lets say he has J9,AJ, TT+,KQ, KT in his range. Or do you think he has a made flush and bets so big with it? How would you play this hand? Should we fold OTF or what? I have a real question here, how this hand should have been played? If I said something funny and you just point that out, it is not very helpful...

I had a gut feeling that I'm ahead. I don't know why. I didn't want to see fourth spade OTR and I knew he will bet the rest OTR anyway.

He will have made flushes too.
What do you think the other villain has?
Vs 2, vs those heavy donks, you can fold turn.

Fair enough. I thought you raised OTR.

Anyway, beware of the great overthink, especially versus two opponents. And take a note on BB. He should contemplate a fold already on the flop. His turn call is abysmally bad.
