Update for Day 73 and 74
You want to know what it looks like to be called "fish" about 100 times in one session? Well look no further, just fire up Part 1 of Day 73 video below :f_biggrin:

We had a really interesting character from China on one of the tables. He was trash talking really hard, but you could see that he was completely harmless. I was called bad fish, good fish, nice fish, losing fish, history fish, VERY nice fish, fish star and probably bunch more that I already forgot. Well thank god I have video for that! :f_cool: Freroll from the Twitch chat even made this nice meme :f_tongue:

To be honest, I might have been a fish, because I lost around $70 at that table alone. I can't even remember when was the last time that I've lost 70BB on only one table. Maybe even never, unlikely tho :f_grin: At the end of the day I finished 30$ in red, but it was waaay worth sticking to that table, just because of our Chinese friend. One of the most fun I had on stream so far. And here are the videos...

Hey metalmonkey, welcome to the #MinRaiseMafia :f_drink:

Week 33 of Bankroll Challenge

I still owe an update for this week's play. Three sessions, two livestreams, one big fat fish star :f_biggrin:
Yes, our Chinese friend was back again on Friday (and he was back today, but I won't spoil it for ya :P). It was a fun session once more, but this time I didn't stay at his table for any price. I need to make some profit at the tables, so just looking for the best that I can get and not for the funniest or wtw :f_wink:

On Day 75 I was already down more than $70 after 51 minutes of play, but I said right at that moment that, if I play my A game till the end of a session, I can easily make a comeback. And we did it! Profit on Day 75 and also profit in Week 33. And once again I'm close to making another shot at $1/$2. Deja vu every other week or so :f_p:

Start of Day 75 BR: $378,29
Profit: $21,58
End of Day 75 BR: $399,87

Most probably, emomaniac! But not really sure what you are talking about...? :f_biggrin:

So... I've been called fish star so many times in the last 3 or 4 sessions that I've decided to make this custom emote ->
It's a star... With a fish sign... Therefore Fish star! :f_tongue:

So this is going to be my 2nd custom emote on Twitch, besides Limit cat ofc.
Will do the update tomorrow.

Update for Day 76 and 77
It's Wednesday and I already made two livestreams. Wuhuuu! :f_drink:
As you'll see from the graphs, two very different sessions. Didn't record either of these. On Monday I just wanted to chill a bit, so I was listening to my own playlist, which is blocked on YT, so decided not to record it. And on Tuesday I had problems with some disconnects again.

Tomorrow the BR challenge continues.

Day 77 graph

I just got home from the last Europe Cup match for our basketball team Helios Suns. Another disappointment, 4th lose in a row. Two players were also fired before the start of the game, so lots of problems in my beloved club :f_cry: Not sure how many of you guys are into basketball, but just for example... The last match in Slovenian league we played only with 7 players, even though there were 12 on the whole bench. And our team was supposed to be "Dream Team."

Hi CoreSteel,

great idea to stream limit hold'em on twitch.tv! You do a great job, gratz!

Just a question: I also tried to stream a little bit of limit hold'em for our German community lately, but then stopped it because I wasn't really sure if the standard delay on twitch actually wasn't too low , and obviously didn't want to risk to run into collusion. So could you tell me what your delay is and whether this is a standard setting on twitch? If not, how can I increase the delay myself or have it increased by some administrator? It would be kind of you to briefly answer my questions :)

Best regards,
Senndrafreak

Hey Senndrafreak.
First, thank you for the kind words, appreciate it.

What program are you using for streaming? I'll just assume OBS, which is the most popular one.
You have to set delay in your software. I personally use 90 seconds for LHE cash games and I think it's enough. If someone really wanted to cheat/snipe, I guess they could do it, but so far I didn't have any problems with that.

So OBS under Settings/Settings/Broadcast Settings there's Delay in seconds. After you are done with the stream, do not close OBS right away. Just press Stop Streaming and then you'll see a countdown counter (1min 30sec in this case). Because you are in delay, OBS needs to broadcast the other 90 seconds as well :)
(disclaimer: Mac OBS version doesn't have delay)

Post your channel link and I'll stop by next time you stream. Ich spreche (und verstehe) ein bisschen Deutsch :f_tongue:

Hi CoreySteel,

yes, I do use OBS, and I also found the "delay" button, so thank you for the tip! I decided to set 120 seconds, so I think it's almost impossible to cheat because the time bank of the cheater would time out before he could react ;).
I just have to think a bit how I want to organise my stream, then I'll report here again.

Best regards from Germany,
Sendrafreak

I feel you, although I am much more fan of soccer than of basketball.

I live in Ploiesti, Romania. Until this summer we had Asesoft Ploiesti as a basketball team. We were almost unbeatable. 11 titles, 6 cups, FIBA Europe Cup in 2005, 3-4 appearences in EuroCup (in the last one we made it to the second round, in February 2015)... we absolutely crushed it in Romania.

Everything fell apart the last season. The coach, Vladimir Arnautovic, was diagnosed with cancer and died in May, our main sponsor was arrested, leaving the team short on cash. The starting 5 found other teams and they had to be replaced on the fly. Despite this, we reached last 32, finishing 3rd place and grabbed another title in Targu Mures.

The team disbanded shortly after.

The ironic thing is that the past Asesoft's adversaries (Khimki, Pinar Karsyaka or Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd) still play in Eurocup or, better, Euroleague.

That sounds way worse than our situation. I feel a bit better now :)
Btw, our current sponsor (Helios) is sponsoring this team for more than 30 years already! This might be a record of some sort, but they could stop giving money at any moment to be honest, specially after many poor performances.

Just a quick reminder for tomorrow's livestream. Besides playing in our (in)famous FL BR Challenge, I will also give away five Daily Double Jackpot tickets for $5.50 Deep Turbo Satellite. Satellite is tomorrow (Friday) at 19:35 or 20:05 CET, livestrem starts at 10 o'clock.

So when is the time to finish a livestream, you ask? When Limit cat says he has enough :f_tongue:

Week 35 of Bankroll Challenge

Two successful livestreams this week. I mean, the actual result wasn't anything spectacular, but we did made a profit at the end :f_drink: I was referring more to the giveaways that we did and how much fun we had on Friday and Sunday. And thats where the gif above happened as well.
Talking about giveaways... Tomorrow I'll do another raffle for 5 Team Pro Online freeroll tickets :f_wink: So be there for a chance to play with Team Online's and a chance to knock them out of the tournament with a bounty.

Tomorrow is also the beginning of Christmas Calendar promo on Stars. Not sure what's that going to be about, but they are promising lots of interesting stuff, so guess I'll be "opening doors" on Tuesday morning :f_cool:

PokerStars has its own Christmas Calendar, and here's mine - an adult version :f_drink:

I remember when I was kid and got that Advent Calendar filled with chocolates. One day, one piece of chocolate, until Christmas. But of course, I probably ate like 10 of those in my first day already :f_biggrin: But now... 20 years later or whatever... I'm being a responsible adult, having only one beer a day. :f_wink:

So... What's hidding behind the door no.4? We'll see tomorrow.

Cheers guys! :f_drink:

Is there a timeline for this challenge complete? Throught this time regs from stakes low then yours made better profit.

It's better to take the handcount into consideration than the total period of time. An average reg plays ~30k hands in a month, so for them this would take two months instead of a year.
