Seems like an easy call to me. You only really have to worry about JJ. SB having 88 is very very unlikely with one on the board and one in your hand, and if he had JJ he probably would have re raised pre flop. I think he's got 9 10 suited.

We beat single 7 and 55. 88 is not so likely. I think villain would have bet JJ OTF. I think we have to call here.

Firstly, I would protect on the flop, with a strong cbet, and continue for one more barrel on the blank turn. As played OTF, I would then raise for value on the turn. As played OTT, I would raise bigger the river, and definitely call it off. Cheers :f_drink:

I would put my entire collection of betting discs into the pot and be quite happy about it. If he has JJ that he decided to flat pre for some reason, or the one remaining combo of 88, then whatever. T9s/55 much more likely.

In my eyes normal reg is never shoving straight OTR, especially when you are deeper. vs his FH's you have to call.
