turn call or raise?

I would fold OTT. We don't have the odds to call and I don't like x/r here.

Can you give your thoughts in English, please.

I would like to see the reason behind the turn play.
I prefer just calling and not raising.

Can you explain your play on the turn?

I can explain the turn play. You represent good strength and therefore have good fold equity. A pair can rarely call. You often see stated here in the forum that it takes at least top two pair to call a turn raise. That's how strong the turn raise is perceived. A turn check-raise is even stronger. The alternative is folding.

That said, I don't know if it is "right" to raise. But, if you ask me "should you ever ever check-raise bluff on turn" - then the answer is obviously yes, or the player that eventually figures you out will exploit your value hands on average.

x/c flop, x/r turn looks super strong plus we've blockers to 2/3 overpairs.

The problem is that it represents an extremely narrow range of JTs/22 and sometimes JJ/TT we didn't 3bet.

I agree but I would not do this with OESD. But I may be wrong.

I don't think this is a terrible hand to do it with. A/9 on the river are pretty decent action-killers so we can't guarantee a lot of implied odds, which means calling turn is very meh.

the reason I was raising was because villain seemed like a regular so he was someone who could lay down maybe top pair, second pairs or draws. I didn't really like to call because then there is a possibility of him to fold ott, and when he called I would have outs. Now he reraise me and I have to fold obviously. So now I doubt if it was better to keep the pot small by calling and fold on a river bet if I missed.
