Hello,

Poker Stars, $0.01/$0.02 No Limit Hold'em Cash, 5 Players
Poker Tools Powered By Holdem Manager - The Ultimate Poker Software Suite.

SB: $3.15 (157.5 bb)
BB: $2 (100 bb)
MP: $2.15 (107.5 bb)
CO: $2.37 (118.5 bb)
Hero (BTN): $2.52 (126 bb)

Preflop: Hero is BTN with K A
MP raises to $0.06, CO folds, Hero raises to $0.18, 2 folds, MP raises to $0.44, Hero calls $0.26

Flop: ($0.91) J 4 5 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero bets $0.44, MP calls $0.44

Turn: ($1.79) J (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

River: ($1.79) 3 (2 players)
MP checks, Hero checks

PreFlop - The villain OR in UTG, I 3Bet him in the BU, he 4Bets me and I call

Flop - After he checks I think QQ-AA, and AK aren't in his range as I believe he would have cbet them. On the other hand, I think he can JJ, and maybe some medium/week hands that have showdown value. So, I decide to turn my hand into a bluff to make some of those hands to fold
Turn - It think he's now less likely to fold so I decide to check
River - The river card doesn't change anything so I decide to check again

How do you think I played the hand?; How would you have play the hand yourselves?

Thank you

I would either check back the flop or bet 1/3 and the rest on turn.

I would check back OTF. When we bet I think it is mandatory to fire again OTT.

Preflop I prefer calling and playing in position.
On turn I like xb. Nothing that called flop will fold.

without reads, 5 handed I dont mind getting it in pre with AKo, so I would 5bet here with AKo eiother AI or min 5bet , calling a 6 bet / shoving or shoving /calling any flop

The turn card is ideal for firing again. Isn't a J what you represented by betting flop? You can't represent QQ/KK/AA on the flop (maybe QQ a little bit). Bet flop, check turn is a pretty hopeless approach on this board. Either check back flop or bet flop, shove turn on this board. The opponents range is rather narrow, don't see very many AA/KK here since they mostly don't check flop, but maybe some QQ. But there is AK (9 combos) - and maybe TT, perhaps making bluffing worthwhile. Whether you get him off a big pair is up to the read on this guy.

I would have shoved on the flop when he 4bet.

The way you played it, you should have bet the turn. You rep a J by betting the flop.
