NL10 AA - River fold?

Seems about right to me.

Looks like a good fold. I would have bet turn bigger.

Preflop your 3bet is too small against a minraise, I'd make it 0.8 at least. Flop you can bet smaller, we don't want to look too strong and also it leaves better SPR for turn/river. On the river nice fold, I'm definitely fine with folding a ton against river donks.

I would have made the turn bet about 60%-67% of pot, but think the fold is fine on river

Yes, most of the time he has the goods. Would also make bigger bets pre-flop & OTT.

Bet flop 1/2 , board is dry.

Good fold, other than that you played it fine, could have bet smaller to save some but thats only hindsight.

Don't try to figure out whether he has 22, 44 or Kx. That is, don't try to put you opponent on a hand and play accordingly. Hands like A♠:Q♠: make as much sense as anything and they make a lot more sense than 22. From a balanced perspective you need to call with AA once in a while, because this is your best bluff catcher. All better hands are full houses (this is assuming you do not 3-bet KQs - KTs preflop vs UTG, if you do, things change).

What I am saying is that if the opponent is very good at reading boards, then you have to call sometimes (but not always) with AA. That said, good fold, because they aren't that good at reading boards or bluffing correctly.

The villain was a complete unknown. I folded at the time because I thought he had a king. When reviewing it, I think a full house is more likely given the min raise and the pot odds after two others called my raise. I bet large on the flop because of it being multiway and for him to call such a large bet he's only going to have a strong hand such as AK, KQs, 22, 44 and very strong flush draws. I bet smaller on the turn in case I made a king fold and then the river I only beat a flush draw, hence why I think it's a good fold.

I like the fold here. With the min raise pre flop and the way it was played definitely feels like he had 44 or 77. King seems less likely here. I would have probably re raised more than you did though.

I can only assume he meant his bet on the flop had good fold equity due to the dry board, and his 3-bet preflop, meaning very few hands are calling.
