I don't mind the call on the flop. On the turn however, I think you should have lead out here, or at least raise BTN after you checked. Again for the river. I think you should lead out here, or raise him when he bets. I don't like the check/calling. I think you could have gotten more out off him.

Yeah, I was definitely afraid of scaring him away by raising flop or turn. I think his range is 8x, Jx and JJ, and I was just not sure if he is calling enough Jx when we raise river.

BTN also could have pocket pairs in his range. I would raise OTR since it doesn't complete flush or straight and even an occasional set OTT or OTR wouldn't probably re-raise you and just call you off.

his range also includes 22 to 77, 99 to aa, kq, ax on the flop - many will donk you 100% on such a board. also qq plus and aks aqs ats a9s spades as well 3 streets. loose passive weirdo is easily capable of trapping with aa preflop here and going broke postflop all boards.

add 9Ts as well.

i like a raise on the turn minimum as you are way ahead of his turn betting range and need to trim the range you are giving the villain free cards to kill you with. its also for value vs jx or qq+ who will often go broke there hoping to see you turn over a weaker J or 99 TT 9T, or even ace air. heck sometimes wierdloosepassive villain here will call you all in with 66.

I think the action should be bet-bet-bet. There is no guarantee anyone will bet flop, and especially turn, for you. Fold to any turn or river raise (and perhaps to a very big flop raise).

As played, raising at any point can only lose you money. They are especially not calling a turn check-raise with anything you can beat as often as they have you beat. If you are ahead, then the opponents have only two outs at most so the free card (that he already paid for by betting) can safely be let off the deck. Besides, you are out of position making you very vulnerable to bluffs (you must fold) and even mistaken value reraises (if he happens to sit on AA/KK and thinks it is the best).
