Hero (SB): $10 (100 bb)
BB: $4.09 (40.9 bb)
UTG: $18.20 (182 bb)
MP: $9.83 (98.3 bb)
CO: $20.84 (208.4 bb)
BTN: $10.56 (105.6 bb)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q Q
UTG folds, MP raises to $0.30, 2 folds, Hero calls $0.25, BB calls $0.20

Flop: ($0.90) J 4 9 (3 players)
Hero checks, BB checks, MP bets $0.43, Hero calls $0.43, BB folds

Turn: ($1.76) A (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $0.80, Hero folds

Preflop: My default play with QQ in this spot is to call. However, this guy plays 40/20 in 40 hands so maybe I could try with 3betting. It would be tricky if he decides to 4bet because I don't know his tendencies, but I believe it would not be a mistake to fold.

Flop: Very bad flop for our hand, but I think check/folding is out of the question, at least on the flop. I don't see much point in check/raising, so I have two options: donking and check/calling. What would you prefer? The MP cbets flop 2/2 and the BB plays 42/29 in 31 hands.

Turn: Since I don't even have an overpair now and the board is awful, I decded to check/fold.

Flop: I like the actual play, and I too consider donking as an alternative. My suggestion is to go to Equilab and try to figure out what he might be folding right away on the flop to a donk. I don't really like the thought of barreling twice or more (building a big pot). A donk also has the built in advantage that you set the amount.

I'd definitely be 3betting QQ here against almost anyone.

As played I prefer donking flop. Don't want to give AsTx or something a free card.

I like the way it is played.
Donking sounds ok, but AsX will be betting flop too.

3bet preflop vs. the fishy guy and I don't mind to stack off. Besides that he should be calling your 3bet with a bunch of worst hands.

3bet pre! .... donking flop seems imo better than x/call. If you get raised you can usually fold and if you get called you can usually vbet most turns (no overcard no spade) and re-ev. river

taking passive line w less vulnerable hand for example Q♠Qx is much better than with this on the flop

I like the way you played this. Would have 3bet pre flop, but other than that you played it well
