Great results there! :f_thumbsup:

The overall 3bet should be like 7%, so you could 3bet more, I guess. SB 3bet% and BB 3bet% should be around 8% both, MP is fine, CO should be ~6% and BTN should be alot bigger, like 8-10%.

I wonder what are you doing to have such a great red line, knowing that you don't 3bet bluff near as much as you can. :f_p:

WTSD% is way too high, it should be around 25% and W$SD% is way too low, it should be around 50%. That migh indicate that you sacrifice your blue line in favour of red line, which means that you maybe call too much postflop, I don't know. Maybe you are also bluffing too much with bluffcatchers and/or air without proper fold equity.

Also, SB winrate could be alot better. With 3betting too less, might be that you don't steal enough. UO PFR% from the SB should be like 40%-45% so you might try to check what's yours.

So, what do you think, why your red line is that good? I would kill to have such a good red line. :why:

Best of luck and keep going! :f_thumbsup:

Thanks for your comment and advice!!

I'm working on improving my 3bet ranges.
You said that my W$SD% is way too low and it should be around 50%. Well it is 45%?
I tried to think what causes the good red line but I can't figure it out. I don't play very aggressively imo, my AFq is somewhere between 30 and 40 if I remember correctly. I think I cbet a lot because ppl fold to cbets too much but my cbet stat is only around 55%? I steal a lot from BTN and SB imo. I usually exploit too tight players.

I tend to call too much.. That's why my WTSD is so high. I'm trying to fix it. Maybe my red line is so high because I do this and sacrifice my blue line? Or then I'm just very good at exploiting people :)

I said it because mine was like 55% and w34z3l said that it was way too high. I have an opposite problem, giving up too much postflop. My WTSD% was like 22%. I guess that an average pot when we get to the showdown is quite big, so 5% is a big deal. I'm just guessing, not completelly sure.

Your red line is great and the winrate is very good, but maybe the winrate would be even better if you would let the red line go down a bit. Maybe you bluffcatch too much. Anyway, I believe it's easier to start bluffcatching less than start to bluff more, so it's a good thing for you (and bad for me). :badteeth:

@Alleen86
New years resolution: Optimize red line :)

Today was not so good. My head was not in it. I lost 2 buy-ins and decided to close the tables.
This weeks results:

Week 12
Hands 1547
Profit +$22,89
Bankroll $219,55

Blah.. Took a shot at NL10 and didn't go well. I think I was a bit tired and made some mistakes and then faced couple of coolers. I played a bit over 500 hands and lost 5 buy-ins so now I'm back to NL5. I feel a bit sad but I'll recover.. It's just a little annoying setback.

Edit:
I felt a bit more sad than I admitted at first but I handled it pretty well. My plan was to take a shot at NL10 and switch back if I lose 5 buy-ins. I was a bit stubborn and it took me 6,5... I didn't follow my own rules about playing tired or when losing a lot so is is partially my own fault. I tried to play NL5 and it went good so nothing to worry about. I guess it takes me one month of grinding to get back to NL10. Next time I will not play 4 tables NL10, I'll play just one or two :)

Not a good week on the tables by the look of it :( But nothing abnormal - this is your opportunity to show how far you've come with your mental game - the test now is whether you can keep making the right decisions and ignore the results. I'm confident you can :)

It was my unlucky shot at NL10 :/ Lost 6 buy-ins in a couple of hours and had a bit of bad luck at NL5 too. I'm still doing good at NL5 (15k hands, 8bb/100) :)

Now I decided to play this month only NL5 and get my bankroll to 300$. After that I'm going to start playing only 1 table of NL10 and 3 NL5 instead of 4 tables NL10 :f_biggrin: I'm feeling positive and this was just a little setback :)

I got rewarded for helping people at the hand discussions!! I will get $50. That will definitely help me and I will give NL10 a shot a lot faster because of this. Thank you very much :f_love:

I decided to opt in for the Goal Getter Promotion. I will set 2 goals for this month. I thought about setting a fitness goal and a poker goal but I think I have more problems in my studies at university than I have with fitness. So here are my goals:

[*] Play at least 10k hands this month with winrate over 5bb/100
[*] Study a lot more, at least 3 hours daily (so I wouldn't fail in my next exam also :) )

These goals are a bit conflicting but I try to fulfill both. Studying more means that I can't play so much poker. But if I don't watch so much Netflix maybe I can do it.

Lost some big pots today.. I had bad luck and made some pretty stupid calls also. For example I rivered nut flush OTR and the board paired, 80vpip fish shoves.. I couldn't fold there. And in another pot I had AA, the board had 2 FDs OTT and villain shoved. I call and villain hit set of 8 OTT in a 3bet pot.

That was standard shit, nothing special.. I will look into the biggest loses and figure out if I misplayed some. I lost total 5,5 buy-ins, so it hurts a bit but that's poker :)

Goal update

This month I have played 2678 hands so far and my winrate is 4,03bb/100
It was almost 30bb/100 when I started playing today :wtf: Winrate at NL5 is 5,44/100 in 16,5k hands.

I have studied today about 4 hours. I have exam tomorrow.

Poker sucks atm... I have had 5 losing sessions in a row and I have lost a lot. Even when I think I'm playing well I lose a lot. Villains just always outflop me and I don't hit nothing. I'm not tilting much and it is very positive thing. I guess this is standard downswing.

This month I have 5k hands with winrate of -5,7bb/100. So I have lost 3 buy-ins, which is not that bad yet. I think I can manage 5bb/100 at the end of the month.

What comes to my study goal:
I tried to do my exam about Finnish constitution (one that I failed at the first time) again, but it was even more difficult than first time. I'll know in 2 weeks if I passed it or not.
I have now started my course of EU law and I got my books yesterday. I'll start reading them on Monday and I'll try to read enough this time. At least that 3 hours/ day + lectures, maybe even more.

Another not so good week. Thank god I got 50$ from TaF :)

Week 14
Hands 4431
Profit -$21,85 + TaF +$47,18 = +$25,33
Bankroll $252,77

Hands this month: 6038
Winrate -0,96 bb/100
I got it up a bit. I have 4k more hands to go. I can get it to 5bb/100 easily :f_grin:

My studies have been going ok but I'm still unlucky at the tables. Today I have been bouncing up and down. When I started playing I won a little, then lost until I was -2 buy-ins.. Then got a quick good run and got back to break even and then lost again a huge pot to a megafish.. I knew he calls with very weak hands and I had KQs (TPGK and FD), I just make huge bets and he calls down but hits 2pairs (K5) on the river :)

It really doesn't matter because I know I played it correctly vs him. I'm not tilting much but third losing week is not fun. I hope next week will be better. Also looks like I'm not gonna get 5bb/100 in 10k hands since I'm now 6 buy-ins down and I have 1k hands left :f_biggrin:

Week 15
Hands 3188
Profit -$27,22
Bankroll $225,55

Just a quick mini update:

Studying is going well. I have kept myself motivated and I just got the result of my latest exam and I passed it :f_thumbsup:
Poker is going better, although results are not great yet because of the low volume this week. I think my problem was that I was autopiloting too much and playing stupidly vs fish. Now I believe I have a grip on things again.

I'll do a better post tomorrow. :)
