Hi guys,

I think I could have even folded this hand pre-flop. However, when we have discussed the hand I will show the result below so we can go to the next part of the discussion.

Poker Stars $2.00 No Limit Hold'em - 6 players - View hand 2866949
DeucesCracked Poker Videos Hand History Converter

SB: $2.11
Hero (BB): $2.00
UTG: $2.53 - VPIP: 28, PFR: 21, 3B: 0, AF: 1.3, Hands: 29
MP: $2.33 - VPIP: 33, PFR: 18, 3B: 12, AF: 11.0, Hands: 104
CO: $2.29
BTN: $2.18

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is BB with A :club: K
UTG raises to $0.08, MP raises to $0.24, 3 folds, Hero calls $0.22, UTG raises to $0.60, MP calls $0.36, Hero??

I think you could cold 4bet. Imo folding AK is too tight here. When UTG 4bets and MP calls the pot is pretty big and those guys don't have much left, you block AA and KK, I would just shove. I think it is not wrong to go all-in with AK.

With UTG being tighr and MP being 3b happy, we should be 4 betting here all the time.
As played, we may not have 33% here...

Hmm, Am not sure about my decision then here.

Hero raises to $2, UTG raises to $2.53, 1 fold

Flop: ($4.61) 4 :diamond: J :diamond: 6 :spade: (2 players)

Turn: ($4.61) 2 :spade: (2 players)

River: ($4.61) T  (2 players)

Spoiler

Final Pot: $4.61
Hero shows A :club: K
UTG shows K :club: K :diamond:
UTG wins $3.92
(Rake: $0.16)

The main problem here is that I again was not thinking straight. I just didn't know what to do in this spot and I made wrong decisions. When I thought about it again, I actually would have liked that I opt for a fold pre-flop, even though it seems too tight.. However, this could also be an 'injustice tilt'

It is not a big mistake, but you should make a detailed check.

Yeah true. Today I made a mental check. I also can opt in for an equilab check but not sure if it would yield the desired results. There are these game analyses on PS for optimal analysis. Perhaps I should write these in summary and work with that. What do you think?

To the 4b.

both :f_biggrin: if you're lucky (their ranges are wide), it might be slightly +EV. the most likely case though is that your equity is pretty bad and you are just putting in a lot of money for no reason

Yes, I think I also will make the decision of mostly folding in these spots with AK.. You are drawing at best here. Why would someone on MP re-raise with any pocket pair under QQ or any hand under AK? I think you can be lucky when someone is re-raising on MP with JJ because he doesn't know his spot well. However, I think that's where it ends..

As we may not have enough equity we should fold.
