15.85 hours in October with 1k bellow EV

September was if I recall correctly 1.3k bellow EV or so.

7.5k games left to grind before 21st of November and end of phase 1.

See you at the tables :)

Quick update for remaining of the October

I finish my 1on1 training sessions with Sensei on 28th of October. I will then schedule appointment to do body fat measuring as well as food tolerance testing again. Right now I am going between 80.5 and 82kgs. In this week that just passed I overate on several days and my average intake was over 2.2k calories per day which is not what I aimed for. Next 3 weeks while I still have 12 training sessions left I will aim for 1.2k calories per day (130gr of protein in there + 3 coffees) and hopefully reach close to if not actual 77kgs. I will also work on adding 7 work outs from which 2 will be at home and 5 at CrossFit temple. Will let you know of results.

Poker wise, variance + bad focus in certain sessions killing my win rate for sure. I am in the process of making a very big decision in regards to joining coaching and staking deal or just staking or continuing to play on my own. It would take a huge load of my back, it would allow me to withdraw my whole BR and pay off apartment mortgage right away after which I would need to make another 2k for a friend and Thailand by 20th of January which is plenty of time. On top of that to continue to play on my own even 1.5k would be enough since I would start with 15s but switch to 7s if I drop to 100 buy ins of new stake and that is not even necessary (may decide not to play poker after I save those additional 2k for friend and thailand!)
So considering my options and will likely make a final decision by 15th of October or 1st of November. Neither of the dates is too late nor too early. By the end of the month I can have more time to make money on my own + hit Supernova and start November in potential stake deal with highest RB%. Starting stake deal on 15th clears my BR sooner and I can with much less stress focus on grinding 5 hours per day until I save those 2k to 3.5k$.
I am more closer to making decision by 1st of November instead of 15th of October simply because until then I can potentially make in 100 hours 2.5k and more which would definitely allow me to continue on my own in November as well. If however variance and my focus goes in a negative way, I will consider starting staking deal sooner then that to release my whole bankroll and to focus on other things as I play.

When it comes to other things such as automation, I did a very good thing and saved myself 4 hours per week or 16 per month by automating meals right after my work outs instead of going home taking a shower then walking back and forth to the place for food. That took me over 30 minutes every day in the week with main focus on 4 days when I have training outside of my area where I live. Other automation parts are sorted out (cleaning and ironing) for a while and my next step is to automate bill paying from which my cellphone and usb internet is already done. My actual cable internet or wifi I plan to pay also on the way back from my trainings. In my life training sessions seem to be awesome pivot point for both grinding, meals and bills. I grind before training (2 sessions) eat right after and once per month will pay the bill for it. Will very likely schedule some house shopping and connect it with training as well once per month. The rest of the things fit in very easily (lesson times and other activities) which makes me happy.
So for now I am holding off on live assistant or secretary. For virtual assistant I will definitely go for once I finish main goal for this year which is apartment mortgage. After that I will work on adding more students which is when I will need help from VA's.

Nothing else to say except that this period is really tough on me. I am fighting things daily in my mind and that brings a lot of rushed decisions at the tables. One part of me wants to take time off and 6 months study very specific things to massively increase expected win rate while grinding 2-3 sessions per day, while reality dictates daily 5 hours grind with no guarantee of having hourly of 25$ in 50 days time period. I am however very blessed to have people that support me from all over the world not just here in my town and that tonight I talked to one of my poker friends who was the 1st to tell me that staking me would be super +EV deal and that he will get back to me by 15th if he accepts my conditions.

Enjoy your October both on and off the tables and do your best to be true to yourself and your values - that is all that matters at the end of the day!

Some news and somewhat quick update

Past 2 days run well and surpassed money needed for mortgage by 300$+. I am still running bellow EV for the month with 17$ hourly vs over 25$ EV hourly post RB.
For the month I have 40.58 hours with 20 days left. I will definitely hit 140 hours but I will push for 150 as I initially planed by playing 6 instead of 5 sessions per day.
More news in relation to poker. Tomorrow have interview with Smart Spins team. I contacted them to hear their offer and see what kind of deal they would offer me just for staking. I will not ask any coaching or other obligations since my goals by 20th of January are very clear, to play and save money. I am not sure how much time they take to come up with an offer but I assume it won't take more then 24-48h or maybe they already have 1 ready for tomorrows interview. Very important thing is that I will not accept random offer or something that doesn't fit my needs. I have very specific thing that I will approach them with and if they accept it we will talk on 1st of November again and start our work or not; if they don't accept it that won't be a problem since I have about 5 or more other options besides them when it comes to staking (from selling action, other staking and coaching programs, getting loans with interest from bank etc). However, since I have 100-110 hours of poker left to play in October, things can very well turn in my favor. If I keep current hourly post RB which is 17ish$, I will make more then 100 buy ins for 15s on top of money for apartment mortgage and have some extra money for November bills (300-500$). That is more then enough to start November on my own with 100 buy ins and push the grind and hope for the best. Worst case scenario I can loose 800$ , drop to 7s, loose 700$ and then join staking deal for December on. I however feel that this will be very unlikely but it will all depend on variance of course.
All that matters when it comes to all of this is that remaining 20 days are key for both maintaining habit of consistent grind and to prepare the field for potential staking deal if necessary. I will be pleased if I maintain 17$ post RB hourly during this period (running bellow EV) but higher hourly would certainly help me even more. I am however not greedy when it comes to it. I have entered steady grind and I will keep grinding as long as necessary to accomplish all the things I set out since I came back from USA.

My health condition is not so great as I got sick 2 days ago, light flu but I am attending training sessions not holding back and eating as I set out for remaining 3 weeks of training. I expect by the end of the week to get better and have even more energy through out the day thanks to it.

Automation I mentioned is sorted. On the way from training I set up my last bill (wifi) on automation and now only thing left to set is grocery shopping. I will likely pick a day when I don't have training (Wednesday or Weekend) and go 30-45 minutes for huge shopping for whole month or at least 10+ days. This shopping is not related to food but rather for things like coffee, water, personal higene products etc. My food is already automated since I gave out specific instructions for 7 of my favorite meals how to be prepared with what ingridients and I pick those meals up 4 times per week right after training while remaining 3 days I take a walk front and back and pick it up by myself (exercise and fresh air!).

So for TLDR fans:
- Interview tomorrow with Smart Spins, to hear their potential offer (will not accept if it doesn't match my expectations)
- Sick, light flu
- Grinding steady, hourly bellow EV for October at around 17ish $ vs 25+$ post RB by EV
- Plan for remaining of the October : Minimum 100 more hours of grind (hit 140 mark) but go for 110 hours to hit 150. If hourly stays around 17ish$ post RB, continue to play on my own from November with 100ish buy ins for 15s.

Next update likely towards the end of month after trainings are completed (10 more left!) , when I drop bellow 80kgs, when something cool happens at the tables (some sick multiplier) and such. Until then enjoy your October on and off the tables and feel free to suggest some TV shows for background while grinding as I am going through them like crazy.

I love it that you're not selling yourself cheap! :f_thumbsup: You'd be a great asset for any stable in many ways.

:gl: with the interview, get well soon!

Gone are the 50-50 times for me Tony :) Those kind of deals are OK if you are beginner poker player or have goals to reach over 100$ hourly, which I don't and even if I did I would not go into stable to study but rather focus on DB analysis with emphasis on GTO approach for every single spot - for that I don't need to give 50% of my hard grind and study to anyone at this point of knowledge perception and intuition about poker.
I agree with you not because we are talking about myself but because from point of profit it is very clear +EV investment for anyone deciding to stake me. They just need to provide BR for buy in that I am winning on sample over 13k games with over 25$ post RB hourly and agree to my terms. If that doesn't interest them then its their loss ;)
Like I said, by 1st of November things could work even more in my favor in next 100+ hours of grind in a way that I won't need to get any staking. This interview is me testing out waters, seeing what they are willing to offer me and of course I won't accept anything that is -EV for me. I would rather play 9 hours per day 3$ limit then 7$ to rebuild and win money vs splitting with share that doesn't work for me with variance and financial goals in consideration.

Appreciate the nice words, all the best Tony!

That's exactly my approach (except that I'm mentally incapable of grinding for more than 4 hours a day, of course) and I believe it works the best for because I don't like having a boss (other than myself). You're very social so I agree that being staked and surrounded by new positive hard-working friends will work better for you than being on your own if you get a deal with a superior money+life EV.

Very important update

Smart Spins Interview
Had interview over Skype via text and it lasted close to 1 hour. In short, they told me that they are not interested just to stake me even though they know its a +EV deal. If they decide to change that policy in the future they will let me know. They instead offer a 1 to 1.5 year long deal in terms of number of games and split that does not suit my needs. I politely declined explaining all the reasons why I think that is very -EV deal for me and for any low to mid stakes regular out there. If I find additional time I promise to explain this in numbers for all people that follow the blog and consider to join long term deals. When it comes to my life and case in present, I am not interested in such thing unless the benefit is far greater - in other words it would take Fedor, Doug, Paul, Phil and those guys alike to be my coaches and to work with them every single day to improve in order for me to accept to give 20k+$ per year in some program - but that's me, everyone is different and has different needs and is prepared for different type of sacrifices.
So no go on Smart Spins - we have different deals in mind and their offer doesn't match what I currently want and need.

My Friend Staking Me!
I am very happy to announce that friend of mine who couple of days ago mentioned that stacking me would be very +EV confirmed with me today that he will stake me! Tomorrow night we will do money transfers and I will start to play officially staked.
Here are some of the things we strongly agreed upon:
- Split is 70-30 in my favor
- He will provide me with 300 buy ins for 15$ limit in installments of 100 buy ins
- Our deal initially lasts until I earn 5000$ from which 1500$ goes to him and 3500$ from which 1500$ goes to friend of mine, 500$ for Thailand and 1500$ for my future bankroll!
- I will grind minimum 5 hours per day during our deal 4 tabling 15s.
- Since variance plays a large factor always, the deal will end whenever the profit is made post RB.
- In case I hit huge multiplier we will split that 70-30 as well.
- With hourly post RB EV of 25$, this deal should last about 200 hours but it can last more or less of course depending on variance.
- I officially start to grind under stake tomorrow night after 7pm!

So it is official. Friend made a decision to stake me, saw very +EV deal for him and took it. In 200+ or less hours, he will bag 1500$ for investing in me maximum of 4500$. Very nice ROI of 33% - can't get better then that, I would take that sure investment any day of the year!
What did I accomplish with this? Well right now I have all the money for apartment mortgage ready and by 2nd of November I will make the full payment in the bank with my dad. I spoke to my dad today about it and he was thrilled about it. I can from tomorrow focus to play with way less variance, not worry about swings, give 30% of my future winnings to a friend who saw a great opportunity and took it (will never forget him this!) and all this will allow me to focus on next 3 things : 1) Saving 1.5k for one of my best friends to give him on 21st of January when we see each other in Thailand! (plenty of time) 2) Saving 500$ for Thailand trip (visa, booking, insurance, spending money) 3) 1.5k for my future bankroll (to shot 15s then drop to 7s and 3s and 1s if necessary due to variance).
I will have over 3 months to make 5k$ total from which 3.5k$ goes in my pocket and 1.5k$ will go to a friend of mine.

I feel relieved, thrilled, very happy and full filled. I will feel over the moon in November when I go to bank with my dad but today huge load feel of my back and now I am just playing poker for things that are on far 2nd place in my life. Number 1 priority, the reason why I returned from USA to Serbia to help my dad out and pay off apartment mortgage is DONE!

Tonight and tomorrow during the day will be the last hours of my grind before getting stacked, playing on my own basically. Lets hope that I hit 12k multiplier and win it in next 7 hours or so of grind

So there you have it. Very important update with fantastic news and results.
October going well, hourly around 21$ post RB , EV over 25$ post RB. Nice to get decent variance and actually run good when it matters. Believe I made 600+$ in past 2-3 days - very nice!

Enjoy your week and I will keep seeing you at the tables hopefully at 12k multiplier one soon BTW, anyone knows if deal making is available for highest multiplier now? I heard different stories that claim both side of the coin.

They failed to spot your talent, but it's their problem, not yours.

The 1-year-long timeframe is ridiculous. This kind of aggressively marketing stables hopes that the applicants are so scared to proceed to play on their own (or to find a better offer) that the players will forfeit a huge part of their future EV to the stable.

What the stable is risking is something like $750 (50 buy-ins of $15), whereas the potential gain is 50% of the yearly profit, and the horse might move up to 30s, 60s or 100s quite soon, earning $25K+ for the stable during the year. This is of course not totally free money for the stable as it needs to provide a hundred or so coaching hours, but this approach allows the coaches to mask how much an hour of their work is worth. I'm sure these coaches wouldn't get nearly as many students and much money if they were charging $250 an hour up front with no profit-sharing obligations.

Such staking deals are for total noobs and suckers, but there are enough for them in the poker community so such stables are still in the market.

Congrats on the short-term 70/30 deal that you've made, that's how true friends are supposed to help :f_thumbsup:

Tony, you said a lot of correct things form your perspective and I can see where you are coming from for sure.
I on the other hand am not planing to dish Smart Spins or any other program out there because quite simply it is a business model like any other. As long as there are customers willing to buy what they are selling, they will sell and in process make money.

When it comes to poker stables things are not as black and white as they seem, there are a lot of shades of gray. I will analyze the situation from my perspective and reflect what would I do if I was beginner poker player or somebody with more experience but not enough to make money that I dream of for example.

OK, so what is the main purpose of programs such as Smart Spin's? Their intention is to teach you to play solid poker, develop your thinking process, move up limits, make money for yourself as well as them in the process and be happy while doing it. Nothing wrong with that. This business model is happening in every stable! No stable wants you to fail, not make it as a player, to have you in make up, not to improve etc. What do they offer? Videos, forum, HUD, coaching sessions in group or 1on1 way etc. This is not as standard as other stables but for example with all the people I worked in poker I have all these things + I am available to them outside of lesson times and sessions to ask me questions which 95%+ coaches out there are not but will rather wait for session time to respond to your questions. What do they expect you to do in return? Well, quite a lot of volume and to give up significant profit on your end. This is no different in any other stable as well. The business model and intention of theirs like all the others is to have happy customers and to make money, win win solutions. They know that if you come unprepared as BE or loosing player it will take some time to get you to crush. They also know that if you are low to mid stakes reg like myself, by helping you improve more you will increase your hourly by double or more and essentially make 5k-10k months very well within the reach. But, to do that, you need to give 365+ days of your life studying and grinding 4 tabling every single day for 5 or more hours and trust the system that they have set in place for people like you. Again, all good, if your goal is to go from 25 to 50$ then 100$ hourly then put things on the paper consider getting stacked, getting videos, hud, hands reviewed, coaching of some sort and in time you will get there - how long, it is very debatable but you can get there as it is mater of solid strong habits (daily studying and studying right way - structured studying with leak finding and fixing) that over time lead to great results.
So what is the downside in all this then?
Well, from my point of view as somebody who was already in coaching and staking and somebody who coached staked and still does it in the present day, there is unspoken part about how much of your EV you are giving up and what you are willing to give to get there!
For example, let's take my case and then I will analyze people who make less money per hour and want to make more.
I make by EV without any studying, hand review or anything post RB 25$ on Stars. So while 4 tabling 15s long term if I play say 10 months of 150 hours each month that is 1500 hours of poker x 25$ post RB expected win rate = 37500$ post RB profit. That is without putting in a single minute into studying from my perspective, listening and watching tv shows and movies podcasts as I am grinding. Now, if I joined a stable such as Smart Spins, I would give up half of that so 18750$ to them and 18750$ for me. Here comes the tricky part and something that any poker player regardless of the skill and hourly should ask themselves 1) Is that money worth coaching ? and 2) What other options do I have to get there?
For me, giving up in a year minimum 18750$ and giving it to someone is a lot. Lets do some numbers and you will see why. 18750$ per year = 1562.5$ per month. Now lets assume that like in every stable there is 1 coaching per week. If we divide 1562.5$ : 4 weeks per month we get value of coaching session of 390.625$! Of course there are other benefits like getting staking, having forum, getting "special" HUD and watching videos. But guess what? All these things you can and should do on your own regardless if you are in a stable or not!!! There are plenty of forums including poker strategy when you can post all your hands and ask strategy advice, learn from coaches and successful players willing to help. There are tons of videos, again Poker Strategy + dozen other websites with awesome coaches producing AMAZING CONTENT that you can learn from and practice for months to come (per single video for example). There is also plenty of ways that you can get staking - from family, friends loan, to bank, staking program and such. And finally, all the "special" HUD's that you would get in the program you can get RIGHT NOW for maximum of 100-200$.
So now lets put things on the paper and get the glimpse into reality. Is coaching worth 390.625$ per session? No it is not - unless you are playing 30s and 60s already with intention of moving to 100s and in future higher stakes. Even so, if you are on 30s and 60s you are likely a very solid regular who has strong thinking process, can adapt very well, understands ranges pre and post flop, knows textures, knows how to do database analysis, studies frequently etc. This is what I see in my head when I picture reg on 30s and 60s winning wanting to move up. To them that is 10 buy ins or so price for coaching and I would always choose to pay the individual session, show up with hands, concepts and discuss questions vs being stuck for a year in program to get 50+ sessions and give up massive part of EV.
When it comes to posting hands, you can do it for free anywhere or find a study partner! I found and still have amazing study partners. 2 of my favorite ones being Puppy and Alex both cool guys and very knowledgeable with similar goals! So just because you have a problem and need something, think about the larger picture - there is a huge chance and % that somebody out there is sitting with the same problem as yours. Sure, stable pairs you up and makes it easier but here is the real deal. If you TRULY WANT TO FIND A STUDY PARTNER, YOU WILL DO IT ON YOUR OWN! You will not wait, just like I didn't wait. If it matters to you, if you find it a priority you will do it period.
When it comes to videos, you can get monthly access for sick cheap price, talking about less then 50$ or so and have access to thousands of videos. Those videos will teach you awesome concepts theory and in practice only if you are ready to learn things experiment and understand them right way. Watching the video even the best players in the world means nothing if you are not trying to learn from it understand and apply it in practice. Without those elements watching becomes entertainment and nothing else.
Getting special HUD's like I mentioned cost you 100-200$ tops and you are all set to crush with them once you learn how to adjust and readjust based on information they give you.
Finally getting staking, you can do it at far better rate outside of stables just like I did tonight 70-30. Find me a stable that gives you that deal and you have a drink on me! Most of them will give you 50-50, 55-45 maybe 60-40 or 65-35. The later versions in your favor happen only if you make a lot of money to them, play sick volume and they decide to reward you. For regular folks you are stuck at lower split!

OK, so now that I have put all these things on paper, you can see why I don't want to play for someone for 1 or 1.5 year, leave minimum 18k to them and get 50+ sessions of coaching for that money. Why do that when I can and will on my own do all these things for far less money + learn more along the way.

Here is the real secret - Study range vs range on any board texture, learn GTO scenarios, understand how to adapt it to any given opponent, work hard daily by analyzing hands and doing db analysis and you will get there over time! When you feel stuck, SAVE MONEY AND INVEST IN COACHING! And that is it.
Everything else is secondary to things I mentioned in this last paragraph. The fact that some stable has for example 1000 videos versus 100 of some other is not really useful if YOU WILL NOT STUDY AND LEARN FROM THOSE VIDEOS! What is the use for you if that is not your studying tool, if you watch videos for fun and entertainment? Same thing for forum! What is the use for forum if DEEP DOWN YOU ARE LAZY TO POST HANDS AND PRACTICE YOUR THINKING PROCESS! What's the point of having awesome forum if you don't use it - zero value to you because problem lies in YOU not in forum. What is the use in having coaching session WHEN YOU COME UNPREPARED AND DON'T DO ASSIGNMENTS? Problem is not with the coach, you are the problem.

So now you see why a lot of these programs exist and will always exist. There will always be people who want to get that magic pill or fix and get there FASTER. Those programs will help you get there but the problem whole time lies not in any program but in YOU ME and ALL OF US! IF you do hand analysis daily on your own, study gto, do db analysis, understand range vs range, different textures and run outs - YOU WILL NOT NEED A PROGRAM! You may need a coach once or twice per month to do a session, check your range vs range, discuss how he or she would do things and why, suggest why certain sizing works best, what kind of range would he use and why, give you assignments and move on! That is productive and +EV way to learn for any low to mid stakes reg such as myself to move up.

Now you see why I see value purely in playing on my own, studying mostly on my own through DB analysis, HH reviews and GTO on range vs range and any texture and run out (in organized manner) VS dreaming about playing such and such limit expecting some special video or coach to get me there. No, things don't work this way, you are the one that has to make the decision to put the time and effort and get there.
To me, this time and effort is not worth it because I prefer to do other things in my life with my time. I value my time too much to give it to chasing some hourly winnings and magical limits. My drive to play poker is a) to learn the game best I can b) make money to live "rich life" - rich as in help my family and friends, travel whenever I want, go to see Partizan Belgrade games whenever I want to, have things that I prefer not to spend time on automated and help as many people as possible along the way. That money fits with my current hourly and that is why I am happy with where I am. If however, I decide in future to prove to myself that I can move up from 15s and have even higher hourly, you will be all 1st to know, but for time being that is not the case. I am honest about everything and I like that I don't need to spend a single minute of studying to make 25$ post RB by EV. I know that with studying I can make more but I choose not to but rather do other things in life that are of greater interest to me.
So to sum it up for me and people like me who have "decent" thinking process and understanding of ranges - 1) Daily Study 2) Find study partner with similar or better level then you 3) Watch and learn from videos, seek to understand and apply things in game 4) Do DB analysis, figure out what people on your limit(s) do 5) Seek and create a system to learn all flop textures with range vs range analysis for GTO purpose of you understanding why certain hands are never a fold and how to adapt vs your playing field 6) Invest in coaching periodically from person that you know can help you and remove doubts you have

For beginners, coaching and staking deals aka stables are excellent deal because 1) They don't know anything yet and are loosing or making very little money 2) They will learn a ton in the program if they seek and are ready to 3) Their hourly can exponentially increase due to them starting in very low place in the 1st place
So for example, 3$ Spin player would benefit the most from stable. He or she may not have clue why certain ranges are played on each position pre flop - stable can teach him that. He or she doesn't know the term "standard game plan" or game plan of any sort - stable can teach him that also. And so on and so on. You can then see why someone whose hourly is starting at 5-10$ can benefit a lot joining a stable because they would after 1-2 years there make likely 4x that!
Now you can see why it is difficult for somebody like me who makes 25$ to get to 100$ hourly. To do that I need to play 60s and 100s or 100s even exclusively and go ahead and check how many thousand players in the world right now play that limit and are making money there :) Now you understand why joining any stable is -EV for me and why I would always choose to study the way I described with hiring coaches that I trust (HU hypers and CG masters!) to unlock some doubts for myself.

So TLDR fans:
- Low to Mid stakes people : Move your ass, work hard, save money and pay for coaching
- Beginners who want to work hard - join stables they are most +EV for you
- Players in between - consider what EV you are giving up and what you are willing to give up to get there to those results you seek (your time and commitment + lifestyle)

I hope this post benefited community. I wrote it as always all in 1 go, took me close to 1 hour to do it. Now going to bed as tomorrow as with other days I get up at 8am and have full day of things I want to do in my life!

Feel free to elaborate or ask any questions regarding this post!

30s shot successful while 2 tabling:

Had a lot of opponents color coded from 15s. Wasn't difficult, only 2 HU's I encountered difficult opponents, the rest was smooth sailing.
Since I made last night 195$ on top of what I need for apartment mortgage, this 30s shoot makes that 335$ post RB additional profit. That money will come in handy for rest of the day to continue 30s shot by 7pm tonight when I will meet with a friend and set up our staking deal officially.

Enjoy your week on and off the tables!

30s shot, 2.53 hours of 2 tabling:

Very happy with how I played. There were total 4 to 5 hands that I could have played better. From GTO standpoint even those spots were snap calls or shoves but vs specific opponent I might have misplayed the hand here or there.

Now officially done with grinding with my own roll. Waiting for a friend on Skype to transfer me 100 buy ins and start grinding 15s in stake. Its nice to win 395$ post RB for extra cash on top of apartment mortgage. GG

Day 1
1.75 hours grind

Profit total so far: 180$ + 20$ RB = 200$
Target profit: 5000$

Crushed hard, had my great friend Puppy aka Elpsycho sweat both sessions. PT4 was acting up, both session played read less without HUD. Loved it, relied purely on notes (always great) and range vs range post flop.

Tomorrow plan is to grind 5 sessions but if I teach 2 lessons I will likely do 4 hours grind instead.

Enjoy remaining of your week!

Only 2 grind sessions today, both in the morning!
Training session really wore me out. Did overhead squats as well as front squat and then did main training which had 3 double unders 6 thrusters 9 front squats and 12 body squats with jump 5 rounds. Very draining, my legs were shaking :) Ate healthy, got back home and then the day got away from me! I didn't grind but rather relaxed because tomorrow I have training at 11am and it is going to be Chipper which will drain me even more. I even ate today almost 2k calories over my 1419 calories because I wanted to get those carbs in and feed my muscles for tomorrow to have energy and to complete the training like a boss.
Anyways, grind suffered, only 2 sessions, I did teach music lesson which was awesome and spent time with my dad which was fantastic + saw my friend after training for a bit.
So poker wise not very productive day but on purpose I made it light. Having this freedom that apartment mortgage is sorted allows me now to do these sort of things. Since deadline to make 5k$ practically doesn't exist, nor there is pressure from my friend and staker on me to grind, it all depends on me. I am positive that I will continue to play well like in those 4.03 hours. My hand reading was so good in those sessions, I had opponents swear me in the chat - typical fish and bad reg monkey tilt modes :) I will do my best to play at such level and expect cEV during stake to also be higher then 50 for sure, hoping for 70 on 5k games actually. Lets see what happens but I will definitely go to 5 sessions per day. It is in my interest to continue grind habit, to make money sooner so that I can continue to play on my own and sort out Thailand and friends loan. Today was exception to this rule as I decided to take half day off and regenerate due to heavy training.

Enjoy your weekend!

Excellent day. Training was very brutal, instead of 10 exercises for 22 reps each I did 33. Morning grind was great as were other sessions during the day. Final session of the day variance with lots of recreational players, either setups or people shopping. Also had some bad plays (light calls!) which I am not thrilled about but that was due to HUD acting up again and not having complete information in HU's.
Tomorrow will make a decision regarding rest if I will do pull ups at home. I usually have 2 days rest before weeks starts with trainings on Mon Tue Thu and Fri but this week I asked Thu to be moved and now my body needs more rest for next weeks trainings. Have 2 more weeks, 8 training sessions left. Look forward to weight myself on Monday, last Monday I gained some kgs due to insane amount of candy I was eating with calorie surplus of over 2k on 3/7 days of week! So Monday I had 82.5kg, I expect now to get down to 81.5kg or less.
Other then that, will continue to grind 5 sessions and look into fixing the problem with HUD loading and working smoother at the tables.

Enjoy your weekend!
