Hey cordaci,
haha nice 3 years, would have been cool to meet up. For sure, see you if I am back.

2nd week of May, or the beginning of playing again.

I feel much better after the end of this week. Finally I am back to grinding and doing things. I still didn't do everything, but I am kicking it and moving forward again. On top of that I also was doing pretty good and erased my first day of stop loss.

I wanted to play 40 hours, but in the end did around 30. I haven't played on thursday, that is why. And on saturday I had that party event that I promised I'll be there two months ago already and was almost out of Slovenia so I slept over and couldn't put in 10 hours both days.
I watched some videos and analyzed a couple of hands and did equity first two days, but then forgot about it. I mean playing is my priority anyway, but I want to develop that habit that I'll just do some equities and those basics everyday. But overall I am happy I put the wheels in motion and got my motivation and energy back!

During the breaks I was also working out a lot. I didn't have structured working out session I just did it during the day a few times. Lifting some weights, pull ups, pushups, sit-ups, planks, squats etc. I try to do a few series when I get on it, to really go to the limit. I will probably keep it like that next week as well.

Otherwise I am again in Vampire style, playing whole night until 8,9am and then sleep. I don't like it, hope I manage to change it, but I will just play and see what's up next week.

The main graph of MAy first 2 weeks:

There quite some hands missing, but after the first day bump (much bigger than on graph), this is how it went more or less. First week, or day to be more exact I went down cca 350€ and now we recovered a bit with 750€ profit these days. I played just about 5000 hands.

Next two weeks I will play 60hours and then I have 2 days more to end the month, so that would make it around 175hours of playing which is not that bad, considering I missed more than third of the month.

Next weeks plan is so:

- I will play 60 hours- (6days 10hours), 1 day free.

-every playing day will do equities first thing in the morning, and while playing mark and analyze hands, also the ones other students ask about

- Workout 4 days a week. Monday, tuesday, thursday, friday probably.

That is basically it. I would go for learning Spanish or Thai as well and running in the morning, but now with sleeping all day and playing all night I am not yet completely ready. If My schedule will be good though I will try to squeeze it in. To get back into a habit, I just need to foremost do the first 3 objectives.

3rd week of May:

It was intense 7 days. I did play according to the schedule, 6days 10hours and had yesterday free, where I didn't even turn on the computer, but spent it outside all day, saw different friends, had barbecue etc. I also had a surprise party on Thursday, but I still stayed on schedule. I was playing mostly during nights and didn't have best traffic some hours in between. Also two nights in a row I think they were working on something as I had some internet problems, which are basically nonexistent for me otherwise.

I did exercise a bit some days but I think more 3 days than 4.

Equities and studying I didn't do that much. I did watch 2 videos, when not having action for long stretches and discussed a few hands, but when I play 10 hours I don't study much, so maybe for next months I will cut down a bit on playing and study more. I had 5 similar opponents that were making me some troubles and I did get a bit better playing them, but I want to really sit down and break down their ranges, do some math and analysis on different board textures etc. I think I should do this at least once a week if not more. Or every time I have a special case and one area I feel weak at.

Graph of 3rd week:

someother one in bb:

Lately graphs are not the most accurate, some sites have main hands missing and same with converters and have a few untracked ones.

I played just about 6517 hands in 60 hours, because of night hours and some internet problems and the profit for the week was 915€

Plans for next week are pretty much the same:
- play 60hours
-do equities
-workout

Results are pretty good, I am still not playing NL200 as I wanted to get my feeling back a bit, I still had some spewy calls I am not happy about and was pretty mad at myself. Next week I will maybe start with NL200, not sure if I am mentally ready at the moment as I am a bit tilty, feel a bit under pressure on more fronts so am too much results oriented

This week I had a lot of problems with my mental game.It is not that I am running bad and can't deal with it. I have a lot of thoughts on my mind that I need to think about and decide on what my next move is. Mostly poker related. It affects also my performance as I am unsatisfied a bit and then try to force some things. So basically everyday I played I could have a pretty good day, but then I made a lot of mistakes, tilted a bit and just spewed so much money away. Yesterday I almost hit stoploss and was mentaly really in bad shape, so I quit early and went out to relax and cooldown.

I decided to stop my grinding challenge as I feel it is not the right way to go at the moment. My tilt was connected with a few players that beat me and I just couldn't find a way to get them.Because of that inability to adjust, next day I wanted to try some other stuff and again put myself in the same situation. It continued every day until two days ago I lost 4 stacks to one guy and also tilted in the end. I never felt quite like that before. I felt soooo bad. Yesterday it didn't go quite to that proportions, but was very similar and on top of that was not running best.

Better efforts right now for me will be to put more time into studying as I have quite some things I need to finish and playing 60 hours a week, I just cant do it. I think it will be better if I take time to analyze these opponents and get my game to higher level and get all my answers answered.

So, the end of the 4th week:

It was not a good week, as I said I spewed a lot of money unnecessarily. Otherwise could have a pretty good week.
On Monday I was sleeping all day so the plan was then to play from Tuesday to Sunday to complete my 60 hours. But everyday I just threw money away with my battles and tilting. On Friday it was too much and I decided I quit and take a few days off and just figure some stuff out that was bothering me and there were some decisions that needed to be made.

But that is done now.

I played 37hours, 5683 hands and profit of whooping 48€. (could have been more at 600 -700€ area for sure.

Graph of this week:

And this one is pretty explanatory on how the week went.

4 stacks vs one opponent, another 2 or 3 vs another. Some pots won are missing so it is not true result but yeah.

I took some days off, and on Sunday I was studying a lot. Have a lot of concept and strategy videos I need to work through. And so the ones I had I need to really go over and drill them.

So this is the plan for next week:
-I will play 35hours this week (maybe 40)
-I will study cca 20 hours-have a lot of things planned that I need to do
-I started Tapout XT. it's a bit longer workout, but I feel bad physically so it will be good.
- I almost completed my diet plan

I think it will be easier to schedule my day now, as I was usually playing 10 hours straight. with studying and 7 hours per day playing I can have things broken down. Also serious workout will do me good I really had some problems lately with sitting too much, my sit and stand desk was really golden at times, but I needed a good trashing that I got today with Tapout.

So that is it. I feel quite rejuvenated and excited on studying more I think for next two weeks at least it will be great and then I might switch to grinding more. But it is a necessity for me at this time to do my analysis and kick my game up another notch.

Guess who's back!

Been a long time since I wrote something and to be honest I didn't have much inspiration to write. A lot of things are the same all the time anyway. I've been thinking a lot about my life etc. Some things changed and also things in poker are changing so I needed to weigh my options and decide what is the best way for me to proceed.
I think now I am mostly set and know what I want to do.

What was I doing last 2+ months?

In June I started with a lot of studying and a little less playing, but even my winning days seemed like losing and then one big losing day just did it. Poker was really tough with so much stuff on my mind. I made some big decisions later and also got an opportunity to explore some other business outside of poker with a friend of mine. As my mind was off poker I decided to try to, it was more for the test and if anything would come out of it, I could slowly do it and scale it on the side. However I spent waaay more time than I thought on that. There are a lot of small things you have to figure out when jumping into the new area. In the end there was some smaller success, but I would need to spend a lot more time and money for it. For now it is best I focus just on poker and maybe somewhere in the future venture forward.

In July I finally did a stronger schedule. As I was studying a lot some new stuff I tried that in the first days and got completely destroyed as I found myself in a lot of new situations. Also after one month of no playing it was not easy to do it. Second week I went to the sea side with a friend, I took my mobile workstation with me and had really full days. Was working out everyday, then swim and realx on the beach, ate super good food and then played poker and studied. In the evening it was UFC or soccer time. It was the week of UFC200, which meant 3 days of event with the celebrity finale (damn you Jon Jones!!!), EURO finals etc. It was very productive and fun. I still spent quite some days outside with friends after at various events, but slowly got more discipline and poker back into my life. In the end I managed to get out of the red numbers I got in the first days.

First week of August I had my very good friend from Spain visiting me in Slovenia. I knew I wont be playing any poker. It was again eventful, first day before coming even to Slovenia we got "stuck" in Italy for the whole night, next day had a great Slovenian lunch at my friends house with millions of homemade liquors to test that took whole day and next day we went to Belgrade for a few days. There we had some awesome culinary experiences, lots of beer, some party, swimming at Ada Ciganlija and some sight seeing. Last days we ended up on the Slovenian Coast, where again was pretty sweet.
But that will not stop the poker motor I started in June :)

Poker Summary:
in May I had about 1500€ profit
June didn't play
And July about 300€ (didn't play much)

Overall I was doing better and better until January and than basically stopped playing. A few weeks here and there, but otherwise a pretty bad year.

So what now?
Now is time to finish what I started. Before April is the deadline I would like to finish my 60k journey. That I still have a lot to do as this year was as it was, but I think I can do it. There will be no more lost weeks or months.
Travels, girls, whatever must come only after poker things are completed.

From now on full speed ahead!

The return! (completed quite successfully)

Man, it felt great to put a nice week of playing in again. I did 40hours which is not huge, but it has been awhile since I put longer sessions in in consecutive days. First two days of the week I couldn't get myself to play, vacation really does get me off the track, but then I had no choice, but to start as I also had some barbecue/celebration on Friday. I did get 20 hours in during the week and then 20 hours in the weekend.

In the beginning I got pretty much owned left and right and I didn't find good adjustments and I somehow got beat even by quite an easy opposition. I think I was running bad, but also playing not so good. When things were at the worst I even got a nice QQ<A8 dagger for about 120€ to really make it worse and I was just super frustrated... But I was beginning to feel better and better as days went by and last day I was really happy with my play, got some very good creative ideas and adjustments down and just knew much more what is happening at the tables :)

So I think rust is coming off and I am quite happy with progress and starting this 8 or 7.5 months journey. Also feeling I am gaining momentum back as lately I didn't feel it inside, even with setting my goals and all. But action is what makes all the difference. It is good to have a strong goal and know where you are going, but maybe sometimes just going and taking action for some smaller thing even if you don't have stuff figured out makes all the difference to get you back in the groove.

Another good motivation for me was Doug Polk's (WCGRider's) challenge as he played an almost 20hour session on NL2. That just got me thinking how much determination does the best guys have, if millionaire is going so hard at it at NL2 for his challenge, it just shows what kind of sessions he had when raising through stakes and work off the tables when he was still more active in the grind. Also going down that much and still being so uplifted etc. I mean so many lessons to learn from that session and then I am slacking here with my low hours while trying to build up my dream... So yeah, note to self: what the hell bro! :)

I also started to do kind of Hour of Power again, but do the shorter versions of it or similar things to it as it worked really good when I was doing it before.

Anyway results are not good, but I got out of the red and finished at about 247€ profits and played 6300 hands.

So see you next week, hope some crushing will be happening and I also can't wait again for the UFC202 this week :)

RETURN of the tres:

:f_thumbsup: This is only the beginning! Don't get comfortable. One step at the time and don't put too much pressure on yourself about everything. One thing at the time and you will reach your goal faster than you expect.

Good work and keep crushing it!

Hey all, just finished this week's playing.

Hey Yax! Yeah write me this in about 2 months please :) That is when things usually get comfortable or I forget to keep on climbing and improving and am satisfied go enjoy myself to reward me. Not this time though! Thanks for the encouragement. You can do some update as well on what is going on in your life.

As I had an unexpectedly busy friday and some things came up I needed to do and solve and I had a whole afternoon birthday barbecue I had to go to scheduled on saturday. The last 26 hours ended with 19hours of poker, 5 hours of sleeping and 2 hours of UFC watching. Action packed from midnight till 2am the next day :)

I don't think I have played the best and made quite some questionable calls. Mostly at the end of sessions. Today I was surprisingly focused.

I have played 40 hours, 5480 hands and made 498€ of profits. Especially because of today. I didn't study as much as I wanted so definitely need to step up here and do my routine so I won't need to do extreme weekends anymore and even up my workload. But just getting 40hours as minimum is much better than before.

I don't put much graphs lately as they are pretty messed up with lots of hands are missing from it etc. So they are not the most representative, I think this weeks is though. Half of the hands are missing but this is kind of how the week went. Started very bad and then recovered.
The run good graph:

The game is not yet on the level I can have it, so I hope I become better and also have better results next week !

Other than that I finally got DispalPort-> HDMI active adapter so I can use 3 screens, adding the one I bought in Thailand. All I have to sa about it is that it is pure heaven! :)

Now I am really thinking about 4k 40'' display, to get someday in the future.

About UFC… man it was an awesome event, was quite excited watching it, was a good break between playing .

Tomorrow is a free day and then back in action!

CATASTROPHY:

On Monday I went to the sea side for a free day. slept just 4 hours before going and also got stuck in traffic. So instead of needing about an hour in each direction I needed about 5 alltogether. So I was super tired on Tuesday and also Wednesday. So I started playing on thursday it was much smoother with hours than last week, where I played 19hours last day. Although I still played 14 hours on Saturday just as I felt like it.

So how was poker?

1st Day: All seemed good, disciplined playing was up about 150€
2nd Day: In first half hour I was already down 200€ and then I was grinding all day and got pretty much back to zero.
3rd Day. Lost some win some and started building my stack. was quite over 200€ already, played 10 hours, week was looking promising again if Sunday would be nice, but as I was not sleepy yet. So I played some more and I met my opponent who changed the course. I thought I have him and then he just won every big pot and then I lost some flips as well and all of the sudden in last hour and a half I lost about 300€ and ended -50... What a shocker that was from being totally satisfied not long ago.
4th Day: I was still in a bad mood in the beginning, so started a bit later. Aaaand the first opponent is my old buddy from last night. I was happy to get the opportunity to get some money back, but it went same way... I lost another 100€. Then I had some NL200 action where just a few pots made it -300€ for the day. So again I begin my battle up and by the end I almost do it. BUT I get some nice opponents on NL200 but things just don't go, made a bad call on nL100 as I was not so concentrated and boo, I was back in black hole and close to 300€ in the red. Just nothing hold up

So that made a stamp on the week and also the whole month. pretty horrible and hard to get over. But to make it worth the money lost it I need to learn from it, get better and not repeat it. I want to analyze opponent and solve him or see if it was variance, need to check my playing versus some villains as I noticed I am doing some mistakes.

I figured out some tracker issues and now graphs are again more correct: Here you can see the crazy happenings:

I played 5250 games, 44hours and had -215€ :( It went bad on highest limits in bb we would be about 6 stacks up.

Today is a free day, then we have a day or two of playing, but for next month I am playing a bit more and maybe doing some bigger challenge.

The end of August!

So the good side of the month is that I am finally back in action. After first week of holidays I played every next week 40 hours and studied quite some. I also have a goal to try to finish till April and therefore won't have any missed weeks or so. If I'll be doing good, I might still do some traveling + playing, but if I somehow miss a week I will play more next week to get it back, no excuses. I think I also got rid of the rust a bit, although still the play was far from perfect, was still too undisciplined a few times, but we were better and better.

What wasn't best was that I didn't stick to the schedule so I had some extremely long grinds and I still missed a couple studying tasks. Of course the results were super bad as well, but there are some lessons to be learned and I'll be better next month

RESULTS:

I played 127hours, 17400 hands and 529€ of profits :(

Graph in bb:

:f_biggrin:

The last one is not in EUR, the peak is at 600 € and end at 230€

Some hands are not accounted for, but yeah on higher limit didn't do so good.

Outside of poker I have a new bet that I accepted pretty spontaneously. I am not sure I can really manage to do it. Having 6pack in 2months and a half... I am not completely out of shape, but far from having a 6pack. I didn't have it as younger as well even though I was quite a sportsman. But I accepted because:
1. Well it's action :)
2.It gives me a goal to reach, so I will start to go by the plan and hard diet, otherwise it is always "tomorrow"
3. If I lose I will have to be a vegetarian for a month. Not an easy task for me, but it will just be another exciting challenge, can see how I would feel and try some new culinary ideas.
It is also inline with my goal anyway, will just go harder.

Make no mistake about it though, I didn't surrender and have a plan.

The Plan for September:

1. Play at least 50hours per week- I have in mind a bit more extreme 60hour plan, but then it is not a lot of free days and I have some theoretical things I wanted to do and format my computer. also next 2 days I have 2 birthday parties so it will be hard to grind this week already and free days I really like free to get my energy back.

2.Study at least 1 hour on a playing day

3. Fitness and diet- although I have decided not to go to the gym, as I went a few times and I use too much time. But I have a good home/outside routine and will follow a strict diet

That 's it, ready for action and beast mode on!

Next week I am posting a schedule and all.

Just a quick weekly report.

Was crazy.. Again my playing days fell from Thursday to Sunday (had just 3hours before) with a big twist though. Two birthday parties on Friday and Saturday. Is it even possible to make it? I made a 14hour marathon session on Thursday and as much as I could on Friday before the party. But then things fell apart. IT didn't go as planned and whole party was crazy so I got home a bit after 2pm on Sunday.. Then my friend woke me up at 8pm to go to other birthday party. Was really hard, I was sooo tired, didn't sleep much last days and still had a lot of poker to play.. Went to make an appearance, drank some water and juice, recovered a bit and went home at 1am this time. Jumped straight into playing for a whole night. Then I slept some and back to playing whole afternoon, took a power nap and then played most of the night. Could have finished at 4am, but had one opponent we did a marathon session with so I actually ended at around 6:30am.
We could say a pretty normal Sunday, but this time I was so tired even before I started the first session was really hard. But we did it.

I even had the best day on sunday cca 550€..
I was struggling a bit previous sessions though and am not the most happy with my playing. Not sure what, but I guess I "lost that love and feeling". Something is just not there, must be more disciplined I think, just can't fold some hands.

So that was that. Played 42hours, 4800 hands and 637€ profit.

I am still very tired form the weekend. At least now for some time no alcohol, just clean eating, healthy food and exercise. Must say this sounds wonderful at the moment.

Again just a quick update of the week as I just finished playing and tomorrow is a free day!

So on Tuesday I was still completely tired because of those parties and slept all day and basically the same on Wednesday. so I started playing in the evening and during the night so that was the schedule all week. I did play everyday so this time it was not some crazy catch up going on, I actually just needed 3.5 hours last day to get to 50 hours as I always got stuck in some long battles when I wanted to finish.

With sleeping schedule off also my workouts, diet, studying everything was a mess. I made a workout on Monday and then one time at 4am for a break haha. Was eating good food, but not 5-6 times per day with all the macro nutrients in check. As I ate too little I maybe even made one short term step towards the 6pack but overall =not satisfied. I did study some and analyzed lots of hand, but didn't learn some things I had in plan.

Otherwise on the tables it went great!

I played 53.5hours , 8704 hands and had profit 1519€ . Yeah baby!

I just wanted to wrote a quick update and go to sleep, but I think this week deserves some graph porn:

And the other one in about 500€ amount:

Otherwise it was not that I played some super good poker, while I did change some small mistakes I still did a lot of them, just the coolers went my way this week.

Plan for next week:

-Again play at least 50 hours and at least 1hours of study per day (seperate hour and then while playing as well)

-Diet and workouts according to plan this time

It is all connected with sleeping schedule as well, but I am way less tired now than previous crazy week, so I'll try to get it in order.

Hey gamblers!

Previous week the main goal was to get my sleeping schedule in order and change how days look. It was a struggle though.

I took plunge and formatted my computer on Tuesday which took most of the day to set everything up.
Next day it was one of the worst performances of my poker playing. 4 times I just saw totally wrong what my cards were and just spewed it off. The most "beautiful one" was then I thought I had 88 in my hand and a full house and after I jammed the river and gow owned, realized I actually have 33. One was preflop jam with 38o instead of 88, A8 instead of AK etc. Super crazy. I played bad on top of that as well. I rather quit as it seemed pointless to play like that and went to sleep. But woke up 3 hours later and just started playing again. I played bad still and ended up losing 4 stacks on nL100 versus one guy, where I also kind of tilted. I felt sooooooo bad and just stupid...
I finished playing just in time to get my 3rd round of shots I started pre Thailand and maybe it was also vaccination coupled with chronicle lack of sleeping that made me sleep whole day and even 10 hours straight (with tho other 5 hours sleeping sessions) which haven't happened in a long while. I also woke up at 5am, which made my biorhythm a bit better.
So next days I tired to keep at it, still am not sleeping a lot, but we are moving in the right direction. As for playing I was really concentrated and tried to not do same mistakes as the first day. It went pretty good and I was playing on average 12,13 hours per day as I had 4 playing days with computer format and one day of sleeping missing. I still hit the 50hour mark.
I played 51 hours, 6978 hands and 834€ of profit.

My mouse started acting up and double clicking. It was so annoying. I wanted to move the table and instead put it to full screen mode etc. So I performed a surgery haha. There is instructions on youtube and it is not so hard to do it, you just need to open it up and straighten some spring inside of the switch. Btw most of the mouses use omron switches, which actually cost like 20 cents... Am thinking of buying a few, as my "spring" or that metal thingy looks pretty fragile and while it doesn't do double clicks atm, the feedback is kinda weak.

On the right side of the picture is opened up switch and this golden thing is the one you need to adjust a bit.

Other thing is that I started using Myfitnesspal. Awesome app and first few days I spent just inputting recepits and common food I eat in. It is super convenient as it has most of the food from anywhere in the world in already (unless there is not a lot of people using the app in your country). I am eating clean for quite a while, it did show some holes in my strategy so now macros are much better and are closer to optimal strategy now in the 6pack challenge.

As I was reading a lot about sleeping and blue light I started using f.lux and I think it helps to get me more sleepy by night.

I also did Spanish lessons 4 times and workout 3 times. Pretty productive week. Spanish will be on the schedule now all the time and I usually hit it up while cooking or stretching, cleaning or some light stuff like that.

Hey all,

This will be just a quick update this week. I continued with pretty good results.
I played 50 hours, 6520 hands and had 1153€ profit.

While my goal was to play 50hours I was eyeing 60hours for the week and I did play 6 days this time. However last two days I was pretty tired and had to take more breaks and also during the week I played less as my friend opened a restaurant so had to went for a degustation and celebration (no alcohol of course). I think for the long run, playing 5days 10 hours will wok better for me and having 2 days off. Or depending on the mood study one day or play some more.

I also was watching some starter videos and will try to go over theory again as I feel I am not very solid with my playing and am a lot of times just skipping bets, bluff catching randomly and just missing a lot of stuff without thinking it through. So I want to get my foundation strong again that I can build and evolve upon next month. I am close to NL400 in bankroll, but I feel I must raise the quality of my play a lot as I was way more solid before my months of slacking.

I am also looking for a new chair and atm Ikea's Markus that I already own is an option, DxRacer or some Ergonomical Enjoy mesh chair is an option (look a bit like Herman Miller's Aeron but not really and is of course a lot cheaper), but have not decided yet.

Other than that worked out 2 times, diet was quite ok and I did 3 Spanish lessons. I did try to do it 5 days but as I tried to squeeze in a lesson before sleep I didn't make it and fell asleep in between, so had to repeat same lesson 3 times.

September review!

It was my most successful month profit wise, most hours spent playing and most hands played.
218.5 hours, 29602 hands and 4004€ of profit!

The graph:

Graph in bb and in money is pretty identical. There are few hands missing where I think I was running way over EV as well and I didn't really have much losing days this month.

4000€ was quite an important milestone for me. Personally and also in the program as now I'll get some new material to study etc. That made the last days of playing kind of "funny". I Started the week with 4270ish €so I thought what can really go wrong. Just play NL200 really tight with villain selection and try to control variance a bit by not taking too many marginal situations. Easy. After a bad day already I ended it with a battle 500 hand battle on NL200, lots of ups and down and ended up losing a whole stack there and from before I was a nice little 70€ under the mark. Next day the whole point was just to get that over, not playing NL200 at all and as previous day plan was going I was at some point 300.e away from the goal and felt pretty devastated. I however pulled myself together and somehow turned the day around and right before stopping got almost whole stack to make it a positive day and with cashed in bonuses I got to 4004€. At the buzzer! Well next day I just didn't play. You can't really play poker worrying on this short term results anyway, so it was not the most professional approach by me.

Good things of the month, next to the result, was the playing time put in, it has become quite normal now for me to do it, the schedule and all is getting better and better. I did correct some leaks and folded the hands I had trouble with where I was giving stacks away on the river or versus check raises. NL200 became even more normal to me and the result gave me some boost in confidence and additional motivation.

There was quite a lot of bad things to improve upon as well. Mostly I was just playing and not studying much. At the moment in my head I don't have everything settled with theory and I feel I do too much of things that have no base. So I didn't go through the material I wanted, I didn't do equities so I really need to be more effective while waiting for action or do a specialy day per week where I'll go all out on learning. It is not that I am watching movies or do poker unrelated stuff. I do discuss some hands and strategies, but also watch a lot of twitch poker etc. There is a lot I need to do here.

PLAN FOR NEXT MONTH:

1. Play 50hours every week
2. This will be the big challenge: Do equties every day for at least 15-30 minutes AND go over all of the materials I have in plan and make better notes AND work on the adjustments and analyze Villains that are doing me problems and discuss it with a coach

So that will be the theme of the month. Really be more effective or just take time for the study. If I go over the materials then I will consider it a successful month.

Other than that, next to poker it stays the same. Fitness, diet and Spanish. I can be way more organized here as well.

@Fishtankz thanks man, I still have bit more to give, I think next month I'll do some more extreme challenge :)

Forgot to do an english update!

First week of the month was quite tough.

I had low energy levels and had real trouble to get going. Also through my history I always had one month a super goal and live and breathe for it and then after it was done I slacked it out for next month or two. Not just in poker as well. So I FAILED this week and didn't play 50hours and feel pretty bad about it.

I didn't went out easy though. For first two days of the week I went through a lot of videos and refreshed some theory and way of thinking. I went at it even for more than 10 hours a day. And then next days I was struggling to put hours in, but managed to do at least 40 in the end. So it is not a success, but it is not a complete failure. I remembered last days that I have the goal till April, so 4k month was literally just the first necessary step to make it happen, but I need to step up my game much more to succeed and achieve what I set up to do. No time to taking it easy.

So I played 40hours, 5398 hands played and 826€ profit.

FITNES:

On top of that I was not exercising much nor do spanish. It showed a lot in my well being. I felt so bad in my own body, I didn't even went out at all, just laying in bed on laptot or sitting by the desk. On friday it was so bad, that I just needed to go for a walk and I just went during the night. It really helped a lot! It is so important to keep moving!

My getting 6pack bet is off. Not from my end really, so that gave me also a reason not to workout haha. But plans didn't change. Only thing that changed is that I was at calorie deficit and I don't really like it, as I don't want to lose weight and I now weight almost like post Thailand (where I lost 7kilograms while there btw).

I was reading a lot lately about intermittent fasting and Kinobody. Am following a few entrepreneurs and they all seem to have very good success with. It is kind of low volume, but strength building program you do 3 times per week and have also some walking for cardio at which those guys are usually listening to some audio books etc. So I am looking into, a program called Greek God muscle buidling. (hope it doesn't entail shortening of some vital body part, judging by greek statues :P) And I already tried uping the weight and doing less reps at exercises I am doing. Filled my rucksack with books and did pullups with it. Must say it seems pretty awesome. I would imagine the program my take a bit longer to show results, but I think it is easy to implement in the daily routine. So 3 days of shorter fitness session, 3days of walking and some abs and good diet. With intermittent fasting, you can eat bigger meals so it is easy to also include some alcohol and less healthy food. still need to hit the macros though. Will see if I'll try that, I am quite on mark with my current diet as well, but might incorporate fasting on some days if I go out or maybe can have a drink or two with friends with it.

So that was that, I think I survived a little crisis week, still did some minimum work and very happy that I went through a lot of theory, makes it more tidy in my head. Still have a lot to do, but I did almost 50% of it.

Next week I will play 55hours and catch up a bit.

Good luck at the tables!

Hi Jernej,

Good luck with your endeavors!
I'm about to go back to the gym and try to create some eating habits (managed to pack up some fat and grew up a nice beer belly lately:f_biggrin:) This intermittent fasting sounds interesting and I think it would fit more my daily routine. Is it allowed to have just a cup of coffee in the morning? How many meals you have from 1pm to 8pm for example - is it your choice?

Best at and off the tables!

Hey thanks VaskataBuci!

Yes it is your choice. in the morning he goes with coffee (no milk etc. :)) and lots of water. For the meals, basically you have your meal first at around 6 hours after waking up (I think 4 hours can be ok as well) and have 3 meals. 2 larger ones and one smaller one. Larger ones are good to have after workout to replenish. If you do workout in the morning you can take 10g of BCAA pre-workout. But yeah you can have different amount of meals as well, whatever suits you. GL
