I must also get on with prep work for my uni start and then hopefully have some time left over later to have a grind on GG and Corel. So far +EV on both clients and fingers crossed that continue

Ok I admit that my poker career has somewhat taken a sideways slip and become the most dis-organised jumbled mess
Along with everything taking time away from sorting this out. So here we go once again! This time I will not get distracted and will approach my poker with more detail and attention. Beginning with a small amount of grinding each week and not getting ahead of myself and BR management, hopefully resulting in hitting my goals
Along with regular Twitch broadcasts of my grinds and other nonsense I will also be holding weekly home games for anyone interested in joining in ![]()
A small start with a achievable goal of $600, here is a breakdown of my Bankrolls ![]()
GG $66.39
Pokerstars: $41.80
Corel: £26.55 ($34.98)
Live: £35 ($46.11)
Total $189.28
Lets see how I get on today when I grind a few hours. NL10 cash on GG and NL5 on stars along with some NL2 on Corel
Also later at 19.30 the home games 55c Turbo Rebuy. Hope to see you there and good luck at the tables

Don't feel bad about that, it just means that you got your priorities in order. Maintaining a good poker/life balance is very important.
How is NL10 going at GG? So far, I've only played freerolls there, and I'm a bit worried about only having a 15 BI bankroll, especially considering my lack of confidence in my NL big stack cash abilities. But it looks like you're doing all right over there.
I look forward to your next Twitch streams, do you have a schedule? I usually managed to catch you at the weekend, but I'm not sure if those were one-offs or if you're planning to do this every week.
Best of luck with your rebuilding challenge!
@metalmonkey80 Good Luck with your BR rebuilding challenge ![]()
As long you keep a good / tight BRM and avoid getting crazy if/when you get on tilt then nothing bad can happen to you on the long run.
Go threw things step by step at your own rythm and you will be back in the game in a heartbeat.
Will follow your challenge.

Review of todays action
After a 5 hour grind on all clients I am overall down after a fight with the fish to make some profit. In general I had a lot of bad beats getting sucked out and hitting set over set. But included in my sessions were a lot of great +EV moments.
Starting with the worst of the worst, and what I decided was my last hand of the day.

I know that with two others in the pot the chances were slight that I would win. But I had to give it a go as the flusher was playing literally every hand.

On the up there were some nice hands too ![]()

On stars I am up after a short grind

@Oldschoolpapa Thanks for dropping by and the advise. I started getting involved with all the limpers today for the first hour and read you message in my first break
Think it saved me a lot of strife and upset ![]()
@Harrier88 Today I am down 2.5 bi on GG and £10 on Corel but a couple of $ up on stars for once. I did have some horrid all in bad beats when it came to trips vs flushes / straight. But they were the correct decisions to make and tomorrow will be kinder I am sure
I will post a schedule of my upcoming streams in the next few days too
Good luck in your games tonight and I shall do a in-depth review tomorrow
@metalmonkey80 I'm glad i could help even if just a little. Sometimes on bad mood or tilt or whatever.. peoples tend to mimic other players at the table.
For exemple when you see lot of limpers and got a bad beat, you might start keep limping/calling hand after hand unconsciously. If you able to get aware of the deviation in your own behavior or game you can correct it more easily and probably loose less when on a downswing. And if you able to feel it before it comes it's even better. Sometimes we also have to remind ourselves that we play to be a long time winner. Who care to win today if you get to loose all other days.
Better be patient play your game, manage your bankroll correctly , try to improve and experiment ...
But well i'm not a CG player so i only share some toughts.

@Oldschoolpapa
It's really good you helped me out here on this limping issue as I found myself snapping out of it quickly today in my short grind and defiently saved me some bad results.
Had a IT bad beat though today with those dam trip sevens. Hit the trips with 2 others in the pot and laptop suddenly paused and lost the chance to puck up a nice cash ![]()
Talking of bad beats here one you dont see every day. Calimari bad beat haha
That's great Metalmonkey80 ![]()
Sometimes we under-estimate psychological factors in our own game and other players game.
The more you know and understand your own behavior and others , The more you can keep things under control.
It's not a waste of time to think about it and ask ourselves , why do we play the way we do. Is there anything different ? Why did we deviate from our normal way to play ? Did we just adjust to our opponents or did we react to his behavior the wrong way because we were pissed off , tired , annoyed or whatever reason ...
If you get to find a deviation in your behavior that repeat itself on the long run think threw it and before a session review in your mind how you react wrong in a specific situation and how you should react instead. Will save you money on the long run and will even correct your behavior if you go threw it deeply and inject logical into your tought processing.

So last week hasn't been bad and I am down overall by $18 due to some funky hands though my sessions. This week has been 90% cash and very little in the way of tournaments. My plan for the week coming is to set days to stream and refresh myself with 6-max basics. So far I have played a bit tight and passive on GG considering that I am tankrolling there on NL10 with only $55 ![]()
My degree starts tomorrow and 80% of my time will be applied to this. So the future for poker suites me well with a 'slow and steady' approach and I believe this will be plus EV too.
Had a quick stream last night and thought that I must post my hand of the day. It is not often I get the opportunity to play such a hand ![]()

BR stands at :
Coral: £21.28
GG: $53.74 (Not met Bonus yet)
PP: $3.25
Pokerstars: $46.56 (2 chests)
Live: £40
Total $183.80
@metalmonkey80 Pretty Nice One and the River is Magical hehe !
We always wish those kind of hit could happen much more often ![]()
Keep on the good run

Hopefully I can play 3 NL5 tables with the Daily £1000 give away which I bubbled last night
@OldSchoolPapa Thanks for dropping by and I certainly hope for more of these nice boards
May the good run continue
Good session tonight
On Coral I have had the best time tonight with a near double up on my bankroll from tickets I had got when I deposited £5 and I am now in 2nd out of 10 in the beginner freeroll ticket
GG was also a interesting night with this little beauty ! Sadly I had to get him to the flop to win it and needed to play it cool for the prize

@metalmonkey80 Dam seems you on a pretty good run ! Congratulation Man !

Keep it up and take every single chip you can. ![]()
Have a Great Weekend and lot of Fun @ Tables,
OldSchoolPapa.
It looks like I may not have time to do a stream today but I shall keep you posted if this changes ![]()
Must do some maths work first and running a little late today

Been a bit of a manic week and I haven't had much time to stream or grind with the start of my uni course and other off table things that have happened.
But the good news is that I have had a very good week EV wise
Currently my combined bankrolls stand at $282.55, up by $65.86 from the week previous. Hopefully this trend continues for some time to come.
Below are a few hands and graphs from my grind

On GG here are a few of the nice hands from this weeks play on NL25/ NL10

I shall do another more in depth review from last weeks sessions tomorrow but for now have a good day and good luck at the tables
@metalmonkey Well done ! Keep on Grinding and might the positive trend gets even higher !
