Turned if from Schnitzel to Schitzel.

But I do like mushroom sauce on a lot of different things that people don't normally put mushroom sauce on.
(pizza not one of them)

Recovery and "summer break"

Sooo, restarting sports - slowly and carefully though - and enjoyed a great and beautyful bike tour. The weather was great, 22 °C, sunny. Outdoor- and competition season has started and I´m looking forward for more outdoor activities during summer. My last SCOOP-event tomorrow in PLO marks the end of the ambitious grinding season and the beginning of my "summer break" with more outdoor-activities. My regular readers know that I go every summer on my so-called "summer break", which means: only recreational play. From June to August I enjoy more outdoor-hobbies, stop ambitious grinding and play only recreationally.

In July we will go on vacation, Homer is doing sports again as usual, maybe a bit more carefully but the wound heals very well and quickly. I still have to wait a week with my usual sports activities, but I already can go on bike tour and do some swimming, just slowly, carefully. Muscles and tendons are still a bit fragile due to the antibiotics I took, but I can feel how well they recover and they feel already WAY more stable and WAY stronger than last week. The urinary tract infection completely went away! Now it´s time to build up strength again and recover muscles and tendons. _thumbsup:

Tomorrow I will play my last SCOOP-event with four cards ... and then I will slow down with grinding and speed up with outdoor-sports.  Yiiiipiiiie!

Get ready to read - besides poker stuff - a lot of fun stuff here during summer season!

After a pretty unlucky bust from the PLO-event I´m really glad to slow down with poker. During the last couple of months it didn´t go really well. Had some good sessions but then others which went just terribly. Clearly +EV jams turned out very bad, very often jammed into a monster or just got called with a better hand and lost. Checked my moves with ICMizer and most of them were clealy +EV jams/calls. Anyway, BB often woke up with KK and there went my chips and my buy-in. Was not a great season for me. Bankroll went several times up to around 1.100 - 1.200 $, just to drop to about 900-1.000 $. BR dropped to 953 $. Had a good winning session from time to time, just to have a big loosing session the next day, where nothing worked out: zillions of total junk hands, then finally getting something like AJ, ATs, 99 or some other decent hand, jamming them as shortie, just to discover that I just jammed into AA, KK, AK, QQ, JJ ...*you name it*, or just to loose with a hand with which I clearly dominated. When I finally got KK, I often jammed it into AA, or QQ into KK, JJ into KK ..*you name it*.

Don´t wanna complain, but that´s just how it went! Of course I checked with ICMizer for bad play. Found couple of hands which were slightly -EV, most of them were very +EV. Well....lost them anyway. Most flips lost. Anyway, I will take some time to study and analyze. If it wasn´t summer I would take a little break anyway, but now the timing is just perfect and I hope to run better soon. Will play about 2-3 times per week maximum and take it easy.

I am glad that I have conservative BRM, variance can be really brutal and that taught me to keep a tight BRM. _thumbsup: I could have moved down and played just cheap stuff, but didn´t feel like playing micros - but in the near future I will! Will move down until this bad run is over.

Well, THAT´s bankroll management ... !!

Getting everything ready for summer, did some gardening and ordered a new mobile air conditioner. It´s a very strong one from a very famous label, those mobile air conditioners from this label normally cost 700 € +. Found the perfect one. Just in time! Payed 430€! Two hours later the price was already 650€ on Amazon! What a timing! I got it for 433€, while the normal price would have been 775 €! Nice, conservative BRM! _smile:_smile:_smile:

THAT´s bankroll management, huh? _smile:_smile:_smile:_smile:

Killing pests ...

Did gardening today and sadly, two of my basil plants didn´t make it. :f_cry: :f_cry: :f_cry:

I very soon found out why: lots and lots of fat and ugly cock chafer grubs!!

There´s nothing but:

but some of them I also either burnt or drowned by flushing them down the toilet!!

Bought more yummy herbs, gonna plant them tomorrow. My tomatoes are growing like crazy, and the first cucumbers are about to grow!

Actually: I would be the worst housewife on this planet, but I can cook and go gardening. I suck at cleaning and everything else ....

At least I know how to make and eat a Schnitzel ....!!

Eating Cordon Bleu with my troll-husband (Floxy, the cat), and what does the squirrel (Harrier) do? Eating "highly interesting" Schnitzel-variants: with chilli con carne, with mushroom sause, with everything, even radioactive stuff :mdr:

Except for ketchup, I don't touch this stuff, or anything that includes it.

Who cares about cleaning? Never saw somebody die because of a messy home.....but one can easily starve to death in a perfectly clean house

Yeah, a little dirt or mess is okay, but when the mess gets bigger and bigger, it starts to get on my nerves and I want it clean, but cleaning sucks. :f_ugly:

Hey, yes, I still play DONs, but gotta improve in those. I´m not very good at DON, I´m better at Sit and Go and I always prefer normal/turbo SnG.
