Finally I picked up four cards ...
...and played some PLO-MTTs on Party and some CG on Titan and 888. Too bad that I don´t have any spectacular hands or winnings to report, but I almost fell asleep and dropped the pot, I wanted to bet on the floor. :f_ugly::f_ugly: On both rooms I found myself in very very super-fishy PLO2- and PLO4-games. I quickly realized: All I gotta do is wait patiently for a solid hand and then go for value. So I waited....and waited.....and waited .... ♠_zZz:♠_zZz:♠_zZz:... and almost fell asleep. But I could pick up some good hands, had acies a couple of times, sometimes they won, sometimes I had to fold them and once I lost half a stack to some random hand like 6♥ T♠ J♠ 2♦ or so .... played also a bit PLO10 on Titan but traffic was not so good and more and more people went from the table. On 888 I just found a PLO2-table, the others were empty.
On Party I played PLO-MTTs, 0,44 $ PLO Bounty Battle, where I was again: card-dead. Jammed as short stack on a double gutter but didn´t get there. Played also a 0,44 $ PLO turbo (non-PKO) and busted with a str8 that I got on the turn, but Villain got there on the river with his flush draw.
Altogether, I played about 3 hours PLO and came out pretty break-evenish.
I didn´t play my A-game either (see other blog), because I am tired from sports. That´s the reason why I play such low limits. At the moment I play WAY lower than usual, not only because I play only recreationally just for fun, but also because I´m very exhaused and cannot concentrate on blockers and combos and whatever .... I´m glad that I can play classic ABC-poker, wait patiently and value-bet, occasionally fire a bluff.
But you know what? I enjoy it! Very much! I enjoy just playing for fun, not worrying about moving up or whatever, I feel so free and relieved!!! It does so good not worrying about BR and BRM and moving up and beating this or that limit. I play limits that I clearly and definitely beat.

Why did I change my blog-title?
Well, because: As mentioned in my other blog: I will not grind up! Decided not to continue grinding, but continue poker just for fun! Due to this change in my poker "goals" I thought I change my blog titles, marking a band-new beginning of a band-new poker-life! :banana::nh:
Picked up four cards again today ...
....but there´s no more hand-history on Partypoker, so I gotta describe my little PLO-session. I played PLO-MTT (non-knock-out) and made it even far - but unfortunately not ITM. Played a little 0,88 $ PLO-MTT on Party where I could quickly double up with a str8. I decided to follow a totally standard TAG-strategy by playing only solid starting hands and mostly value-betting, cause everything gets called there. They even call you down with middle-pair bad kicker and such stuff. Exactly this is what happened to me, but unfortunately not to my advantage.
Shortly before ITM I picked up A♠ 5♠ A♥ 5♦
Fired a 3-bet pre after a raise and one Villain called.
Flop went like: 6♥ 2♣ 6♠
I bet half-pot, Villain calls
Turn: 2♠
...and that´s where I scr.... up. Of course Prim bets "da pot", Villain x/r and I gotta call.
Vllain showed a random hand with a 2. 
On the turn I should better have used "da pot" for cooking in the kitchen!

Gg, Harrier! This MTT is just for fun. I personally, am thankful for every single Euro I win or even do not loose! This tournament is fun and very fishy.

Played a little PLO-CG-session on Titan. Found a seat at a PLO10 and at a PLO4-table and was looking forward to pick up four cards. PLO is always big fun and Villains are mostly fun-players with no clue. Or as Kyyberi used to say: "good costumers" Indeed! To my right sat a recreational with absolutely no clue about PLO and acutally I was happy. But I was gaga enough to bluff him! Oh boy! On a flop with 3 hearts and holding a blocker, I tried to kick him out of the pot, but no chance! Got called down with two-pair and not even a single heart! 
So tightened up and decided to play patiently and TAG. After a while I picked up double suited acies and decided now it´s the time! Let´s go!

Desperately tried to isolate the "good costumer" but no chance! Another Villain also decided to go with his pocket-kings! Anyways, at the end who won? Of course the one with the worst hand who sucked everybody out on the river Yeah well, there went my stack. Played a little more but was pretty card-dead, could only pick up some small pots and ended my PLO-session with about 1 stack down.
The loss was compesated with SnGs. 
Actually BB only had worst hand on one street! Interesting in a way that BB had been passive but then decided to go with that hand...
I desperately tried to iso BB, he was the "good costumer"! Okay, he would have won anyway, I would have lost the stack anyway but at least my equity with my aces would be higher in a HU-pot than 3-way.
Finally picking up four cards!
Was looking forward to my todays session and to pick up four cards. As the readers of my other blog here know, had a great MTT-evening yesterday. Decided to play PLO-MTTs today. Played the 200 $ Gtd. for 3.30 $, the 25$ Gtd. for 0,5 $, the 50 $ Gtd. PLO8 for 0,88 $ and a satty for 0,55 $ on Partypoker. On 888 I played 200 $ Gtd. for 3.30 $ and 150 $ Gtd. for 1 $.
Well, PLO didn´t go as well as my yesterdays holdem-session! I was totally card-dead in the tourneys. 
From time to time I could get a good hand, top set, scoop a pot with A2A4ds or double up with acies, but that was not enough. In the 3.30 $ 200 $ Gtd. on Party I could double up with acies at the beginning but then was total card-dead! Until I got acies again, A5A5ss double pair. Was BB and everybody folded to the SB, he raised. I put in the 3bet and the flop went 8-9-T with two spades - I had no spade! :facepalm::facepalm: He checked, I x back turn is a 7 and river another 7. Indeed he had some random hand with J8xx The rest went card dead and as desperate shortie I jammend KKT7ss and jammed it into AAxx. No help for me!

Even though I have migraine (changing weather here), I decided to pick up four cards. Played PLO4 on Titan and enjoyed it - and no phantom straights!! Managed to handle four cards despite beeing a bit dizzy ♠_ugly:♠_ugly:
Enjoyed a nice CG-session. Decided to play CG because for the case I feel sick I can leave the tables anytime. I really enjoyed CG very much! No pressure from increasing blinds, aaaaw, how nice is that? ♠_smile: I should play CG more often. Today I found out that on 888 there´s zero traffic in PLO.:wtf: ♠_frown: So then opened Titan and sat down at the PLO4-tables. Didn´t dare to play PLO10 because of my migraine, a stupid mistake would be a bit " too expensive" On PLO4 it´s still cheap. There wasn´t big traffic on PLO10 anyway on Titan.
The beginning of my session didn´t really go well. 
Had a rough start with beeing rivered (which is more often in PLO than in Holdem) and loosing half of my stack on a cooler (full house over full house). After a while with flops that just sucked the PLO-gods realized that I may need some help :coolface:. After about two hours of playing PLO the good hands came and I could take some stacks and pots.

A bankroll transfer and some PLO-fun
Hey guys, finally I find some time for poker. Had really busy weeks and as you know from my other blog: It´s competition season, plus I have high work load so that I couldn´t grind the whole last week. So I was happy to find some time of poker and decided to pick up four cards! 
Well: Stop! First comes first! Made a BR-transfer. Withdrew all my money from Partypoker and put it on Unibet instead. Why? Fishier games and way better traffic at PLO! Decided to play some PLO4 and the 2€ Omaha-Zenith (MTT). Besides, played also some PLO4 on Titan, where I found myself at a table (the only one running) with a total aggro fun player to spewed his money like crazy. 
Okay, then: Good for me!

Anyways: 1 and a half stacks up in PLO4, and the bad news: busted from the Omaha-Zenith and had to leave it without price money. Why? I was very card-dead, got the worst trash hands and spend most of the time just folding junk.
Then this happened:
Could double up with this full house but then - nothing came. Either no decent start hand or just totally missed flops. ♠_cry: Blinded down to a stack of 100 I jammed KK28ss from SB. Everybody folded till BTN, he limped pre. I raised the pot, BB 3-bet pot and I got it in. ........ and ran into AAxx.
Maybe iso raising that A997s would make sense? Turn I would probably bet because straight seem quite unlikely as surely they would bet with one on turn? Only one player behind after all. But maybe that would be too optimistic value bet once again
