So I late regged the Five Card Draw MicroMillions event (about an hour late). After chipping up quite nicely, it looked like I might be there for a while, so I decided to load up some podcasts for a bit of background noise.

Unfortuantely, my search engine had to give me a popup about some browser extension I don't care for, so I clicked to close it - and right in that moment, the tournament window popped up, with the raise button right in the way...

So I was stuck doing a cold 4-bet OOP with JJxxx, what to do now?

Now that I got myself into this, why not try a snow, I thought.

Unfortunately, most of the euphoria (and winnings) from this hand were lost on the 2nd table, where one specific player managed to draw 1 and hit a straight vs my drawn trip aces in two separate instances, while also having one specific third player stay in the pot with unimproved two pairs in both instances.

It was a PKO tournament and he was the biggest stack, so there was some bounty potential. The people in front of him showed some willingness to participate in the pot, and based on their carding, one of them could easily have trips. Calling with AAAxx vs a draw 1 who shoves wouldn't be too much of a stretch for some players, depending on the situation. And since he had a pretty high flush, he had a decent reason to think he was ahead too.

Personally, I believe I would have made a normal good-sized raise in his position, and called against your re-raise, probably even for stacks.
