I think that the solution is to actually care -- but sometimes that is difficult

So: Just do not care!
I don't think there's anyone in the world who enjoys that stuff, but, after finally being done with my longer cleaning project, I realized that it can be quite satisfying once you see the difference.
Heeeeeeey, our food-porns don´t get "likes"
Well, guess nobody cares ..... :sifflote::f_ugly:
Today's schnitzel toppings:
Scampi, garlic and tomato-cream sauce.
Yes, it was time at last. And well worth the wait.

That kid looks sad, maybe a good schnitzel would cheer them up.
Actually he started crying after he heard of your scampi-Schnitzel.

No need to cry, there's plenty for everyone.
I've seen this picture so many times on your blog before, and only now realized that the kid is supposed to have her (?) hands on her knees, and sitting on a big pile of... let's say it's soil.
Previously, I always thought that the legs were the arms, the hands were some kind of ornament-thing, and that lump on the bottom were the legs, which are covered in a thick layer of... let's say it's soil.
Can you see it? Can you unsee it now?
I thought the kid was a boy? I think it´s a boy.
I always could identify the legs and arms.... mhm... but I thought this is a real poo. But indeed could be just soil that looks like poo.

It's pretty androgynous looking, but I thought the clothing kinda looked like a dress. And the "soil" may indeed be what you think it is, but... let's say it's soil.
Never had rice cake before, I believe, but if there's rice in it, it must be good.

It IS really good! Haven´t had that cake for about 40 years. My grandma used to make it but after she died naturally from old age nobody in the family thought of making it. Mom and Dad both don´t like sweet food, they hardly ever eat sweets (they like it salty, spicy!) and as an adult I had forgotten about that cake, it just came to my mind a couple of weeks ago when I re-started Paleo and was looking for carbohydrate-rich foods.
The sun now rises later than 08:00 -- or will until Sunday -- but you Europeans have already gone through that.
