A downswing for free ...

The idea of my CG-tickets was a big BR-boost actually :mdr: but well. Two sets (AAA and KKK) didn´t hold. Lost a set AAA vs gutshot str8, getting it in on the flop and Villain gets there on the river. A set KKK lost vs naked str8 draw and when I flopped a nice nutstr8 (broadway) I was of course happy to get it in. ....lost vs naked flush draw  another set acies I lost vs runner-runner-flush and once lost acies with over pair - we got it in on turn, Villain called with top pair bad kicker - and rivered two pair.

I don´t wanna know how much money I would have lost today but those "lost stacks" were for free (CG-tickets). I managed to double up twice in PLO10 with my money, could take some smaller pots, the rest went brutally card-dead with most flops completely missed. Encountered two coolers: K-high-flush (me) heads up vs A-high flush and Full House (me) ran into quads but that was fortunately cheap. _ugly: Another factor which kept my losses cheap was that many Villains didn´t come with full stack to the tables.

How on earth I managed to stay break-evenish (-1,5 €) ...wow! I´m proud of myself. _ugly:_ugly:

Nsavovs underpants and the Schnitzel

So, what has been going on here? A lot! _smile: On Friday Harrier and I met for another fun day and with the big Schnitzel challenge. As regular readers know, I´m not really a fan of Harriers Schnitzel-creations. Actually, it´s not his creations but there´s a take out where they offer lots of Schnitzel varieties, like Schnitzel with Bolognese sauce, Schnitzel with scampi, Schnitzel with broccoli and cheese ... and a lot more. I think they are gross and totally Banhauser. So: I thought the Schnitzel with scampi was the worst and the challenge was, that I try it. Can´t eat a whole Schnitzel because I have celiac disease (gluten-intolerance), but at least I was able to try a piece.

So, there it is: the legendary Scampi-Schnitzel:

It wasn´t even sooooo bad, I think the Pizza Schnitzel last time was way worse and the worst so far.

We also created a new cocktail, which is delicious: We called it Nsavovs underpants. And there it is! Almost unused and with a little almost unused umbrella :sifflote:

The recipe, as usual can be found in Harriers Blog.

We had another cool fun Friday with the almost unsused Nsavovs underpants. :sifflote::sifflote:

And now: poker!

As always, we played our "Troll Freeroll" yesterday, but we both were pretty tired. So let´s say: After our fun-Friday (with a little alcohol of course :sifflote: ) we didn´t really play our A-games in the Troll Freeroll. We busted out almost at the same time. :f_ugly::f_ugly: And I was not only tired from our fun-Friday but also from my 2 hours tennis training before.

But as usual, you can guess .............. yeeeeeeeeeeees, ITM come of course with four cards! _cool:_thumbsup:

Besides the Troll Freeroll I played the 1.10 $ PLO Micro Masters and the 0,5 $ Micro Gladiator PLO. Didn´t play more cause - as said! - was pretty tired. While playing my PLO tourneys, I wrote to Harrier, that it´s gonna be a bad session today cause I play horribly. Even though it was not my best poker, in the Micro Gladiator the cards were on my side. I could KO about 7 Villains and found myself ITM. I was so super tired that it didn´t matter how I´m gonna place. Actually, guys, I just wanted to sleeeeeeeeeeeep!!! _zZz:_zZz:_zZz:

Stop! No sleep for Prim yet! Oh no! I found myself at the Final Table. _cool:_thumbsup: There, I decided okay, I pull myself together one more time, there were some short stacks, I was mid stack, so at least I wanna place 4th. Villain after Villain busted, I could KO two more and found myself heads up. Villain had 3times more chips than me but I decided to fight! I fought hard but at the end the river was not with me. I turned a set 888 and Villain called me down with two pairs. River was a 9 and the board paired so I had a full house now 88899. I jam, Villain calls and it turns out that he rivered just a higher full with 999JJ.

2nd place for me in the Micro Gladiator PLO and a nice winning.

Mini-MTT session..

because I felt like playing the 2.20$ Big Bounty Hunter PLO on Partypoker and the Omaha Freeroll on Unibet. Well, the "mini"-session turned out to take longer as I thought. While I couldn´t make it into the prices (CG-tickets) in the Freeroll, I could take a nice 13th place ITM in the Big Bounty Hunter PLO. Only one KO, aber some nice pots and double ups. The first two hours card-dead but made a very nice comeback as shortie and navigated da pot all the way to ITM. Busted there with TT22ds then. Jammed pre, could make the flush but one Villain had A-high flush so that was it. _smile:

MTT hot, CG not!

While I´m running hot in MTTs I´m running horribly in CG. The last PLO10-ticket is gone. First lost half a stack with double suited acies (flop was 22-x and due to his short stack we had to get it in). Got it in with overpair (actually two pair, cause flop paired) vs naked flush draw. Boom! Villain got there! The next one was TPTK with nutflush-draw and inside str8 draw (had to get it in, 3-bet pot and my stack was short, cause you can´t reload with CG-ticket) vs two pair and st8-draw, well, didn´t get there, he did: on the river.

The rest of the story is pretty much told: mostly totally missed flops and tons of garbage hands

Just hero-folds

My yesterdays MTT-evening was not really blast, guys. Played as usual the Micro Gladiator PLO, PLO Classic and PLO Micro Masters on Partypoker and together with Harrier, our "Troll Freeroll" on Titan Poker. Somehow, it just didn´t wanna work out yesterday. I had to fold str8s and sets in PLO, barely hit a flop and acies went down the drain. Same in Holdem: Just in the first hand of the Troll Freeroll, I had AA - and had to fold it on turn (board went: 5-7-8-6) vs two Villains. Both: in Holdem and in PLO exactly those cards came which I absolutely did not want to see on flop/turn/river. :why:

Meanwhile Harrier did well in the Troll Freeroll and came to the FT, placing 8th. After railing him a bit, I went 2 bed - without any ITM. _frown:

Unibet trouble

Aw, guys! I could really p*ke! :spit: Yes, Unibet is a reason to spit in the blog. Laws have been changed in Germany and at the moment the Unibet app is not available, can only play via browser or mobile app which I hate to do! I´m trying to withdraw my money and get an error message every time!

Would like to withdraw my money from Unibet until everything is ready and clarified with the law but cannot! No support to contact! I have 600 $ BR there!

:spit::spit::spit:

So, guess, we gotta continue PLO on Partypoker ..... ??

Yeah, that really sucks. :f_frown: I'm a little worried about the future of online poker over here in general. I haven't been personally affected yet, but who knows when Pokerstars will follow suit, and what they will come up with...

Legislation has ruined online poker in many countries in the past. So far, we somehow managed to dodge most damage. I really hope it stays that way.

But surely there must be a way to contact their support somehow? This isn't PayPal, after all. ("Login denied, please contact support." "You want to contact support? Sure, just log in, please.")

From the sayings of Vorpal the wise
The one thing that can never be predicted is the action of governments

The original context of this had nothing to do with poker, but in my 20s I worked in mineral exploration (ie I was a prospector).
I found a decent-sized lead deposit, but it was too far from transportation to be feasible.
Under the current legislation at the time, it would have been, but governments change every 4 years, and mines take 5-10 to develop -- and of all the factors, the capriciousness of the governments is the most unpredictable...

In the poker world, we're lucky in Canada, but two iPoker skins won't let us play -- but the rest will.
Skrill and Neteller also both won't let use have accounts -- but MuchBetter will.
All those that refuse blame the Canadian Government.
