I had only seen it in videos before, but I already thought back then that it should be a great game for us trolls, and something that both of us would enjoy. 
I bought it a while ago on some Steam sale, but since it's local multiplayer only (I think the sequel has online multiplayer too, maybe we'll try that some time), I've been saving it for one of our troll meetups, so it was the first time playing it for both of us.
The difference is that I kind of knew what to expect, since I had seen it before - and I also know what lies ahead of us in the next few levels when we meetup again, but I won't spoil the surprise. All I can say is: It gets harder. 
For those who are not familiar, it's a co-op game where you're playing as a team of cooks who are working in different kitchens with some very questionable layouts. The cooking aspect itself is very simple and mostly involves combining items, most of the challenge comes from the stages themselves, which force you to cooperate and divide your labor in an efficient way to complete your orders on time. This also involves a lot of communication and thinking on your feet.
Here's some four player footage of one of the stages that we were playing already. With the help of extra hands, they achieved a slightly higher score than us, if I remember correctly, but at least we didn't burn the ship down.
As for poker, it has always fascinated me how often we seem to go through downswings together, it's as if both good and bad phases usually hit us around the same time. But don't worry, we'll get out of this together too. I'm eager to get back myself, and I'm sure your motivation will return in time too. Until then, we got each other's backs.

Millions of excuses but now it´s summer break anyway!
Yes, guys! At the moment I have zillions of excuses why I cannot play poker and the real reason is that I struggle with motivation. The reason is not only a not so good phase, not even a downswing, but also that I got tons of other things in mind and I´m pretty busy with work, sports and gardening. Glad that we´re at the end of May and June starts. Why I´m mentioning this? Well, my regular readers know that from June to about Mid-September I always go on summer break. The reasons for my yearly summer breaks are just good weather, thus, more time outside and outdoor-sports-season.
During my so called "summer break" I use to have a very reduced poker schedule due to outdoor-activities (sports, gardening). I haven´t lost my motivation for poker entirely! No way. But now it will do good to play just some fun-sessions every now and then. As you know, I use to play the "Troll Freeroll" (German Freeroll on Titan) with Harrier anyway. So, I will plan only some easy fun-sessions during summer break, once or twice per week. I will enjoy my little sessions and return fully to the tables when off-season starts (usually mid to end of September).
Stay tuned for fun-updates not only about poker but also about other stuff going on in my life....

Ditto, but to be fair, there really are a lot of things out there that are more important than poker.

Not top motivated but ...
motivation was better yesterday. Didn´t play much but way more motivated and concentrated as a couple of weeks ago. Played the "Troll Freeroll" with Harrier (both of us busted far from ITM), some 1€ PLO8 tourney and a 1€ PKO (Holdem) on Titan. Thought why not trying out something new? Could quarter a Villain very early in the tournament and was proud that I played that hand (A345ss, ace suited) correctly. Hit my combo draw and we got it in. The rest of that MTT went unfortunately card-dead and my emergency-jam with A5Qx ss ran directly into acies AAxx. The Holdem PKO went pretty well, could take a nice pot from time to time, unfortunately couldn´t KO anybody but made it ITM. Placed 48th with a min-cash, not really a great price but a little encouraging. 
Motivation:
Some days I just don't feel like playing -- so I don't.
Some days I really do feel like playing, but a few hands it just seems like a waste of time, so I quit. Not that I do anything useful, it just seems that poker is boring.
Then there are the days when I really feel like playing, and it's fun and exciting and I lose a couple of buy-ins.

Hope the trolls here won´t be too dissapointed... (Gardening update)
but there won´t be too many tomatoes this year. 
Due to a cold April and May the tomatoes didn´t grow well and we have only three tomato plants. Lots of cucumber and chili tough. The weather is very nice here and warm so now everything can grow nicely. From some plants we have too litte and from the others too much. We cannot complain about too litte sorrel, basil, coriander, cucumber and chili while rosemary, thyme and oregano decided not to grow 
Bummer!
Anyway, guess this summer there will be a lot of cucumber salad 
(hope the dill will grow nicely too). Cannot complain about the parsley either. And instead of rosemary, thyme and oregano we got now plenty of sorrel. Gotta look for good recipes with sorrel. You can make a sorrel pesto, which I made last year and it was delicious. Soup with sorrel is also great.
Yesterday, I spent a lot of time with the gardening and now everything should be ready. The only thing the plants have to do now is to grow.
This year I´m really looking forward for summer. The last couple of years the summers are extremely hot here which I don´t particularly like. Don´t need temperature over 30°C. Sports become a pain in the bum bum when the weather is hot.
I´m enjoying my summer break and I´m busy with a lot of "summer stuff" Let´s hope for a nice, warm, sunny but not too hot summer this year. 
If cooking pasta in microwave takes 9min, and same amount of time in normal way, why would anyone do it in microwave?

Because you don´t have to watch the pot then and you can do something else and forget your pasta without any accidents.
I cook pasta in the multicooker. It takes only 5 minutes and you don´t have to watch the pot, the multicooker switches automatically to keeping the pasta just warm after those 5 minutes.
Oh by the way, as it is summer: Time for delicious mediterranean food!

Or why would anyone do it on a stove?
microwave: 750 watts x 9 minutes vs stove 1500 watts x 9 minutes
Stove adds loads of waste heat. Not too bad in winter, but in summer w/ no AC (or even with)
less clean-up
I like the idea of doing it in the multi-cooker though.

I love my rice cooker, one of the best Christmas presents I ever got. I imagine a multicooker is similarly convenient.

We could use it for rice, but so often when we're having rice, we're using this for something else, and if we did the rice in it also, it just doubles the meal prep time.
Mrs Vorpal makes all our pasta meals in it, but I have not yet done so.
Our rice cooker so very old now, and it has seen a lot of use.
It now slightly overcooks the rice, but when investigating new ones it seemed that they are way more expensive than the one we have.
(we paid about 20 bucks for it 20 years ago)
We'll be keeping the old one until it dies
I really like my multi cooker. You can cook almost everything with it and you don´t have to pet the pans and pots while cooking your meal. Just put the ingedients in and choose the right program. Everything else goes automatically. And you have way less dishes to wash.
Do you mind sharing what multicooker it is?
Also, do you have any experience with air fryers?
